Chämi-Stuba in Saas-Fee

Even though we didn't make a reservation, we were offered two seats. It was with great pleasure that we were able to enjoy two wonderful pizzas. Many thanks. We will be back. MFZ and RBB

It has changed a lot in the last years. The Asian food is quite good. Reservations as in all the restaurants in Saas Fee as a must.

Very authentic Asian food, absolutely recommended. Whether it was fried noodles for the children or our meal (e.g. a whole fresh fish) - every dish was excellent. Very attentive service. We will be back!

If you wish to order take-away style by number from a Thai-Chinese menu and then be charged premium sic eye-watering prices for a sit down meal then this is your place.

Best Thai food outside of Thailand. Panaeng and Massaman Curry are stellar - haven‘t eaten such good Thai food in a very long time.

I thought I could eat a pizza there based on the photos on Google, and to my great astonishment I found myself in an Asian restaurant. However, the food was very good as well as the service.

Update 01.2024: No longer a pizzeria, now a Chinese & Thai restaurant! The menus are identified in the menu according to Chinese/Thai origin (according to the owner, two chefs each with the corresponding origin). Very tasty and fresh dishes, even for kids (e.g. Baozi or Bao Buns), I haven't had such a good Pad Metmamuang in a long time. Gladly again. (Old review) Lunch: Very good pizza (crispy yet airy dough), pasta was also delicious. Child-friendly & flexible. Recommended

A well-seasoned Thai curry with few vegetables and chicken, which was not cut properly and so everything was hanging together by threads. It was also gristly. The rice was poorly prepared and was more uncle ben's than basmati. Really expensive for that. In my opinion, the fact that the glass of wine was not charged is entirely the fault of the waiter. Good quality service and welcome. The food is good but without the added extra of truly good Thai or Chinese cuisine. Spring rolls a little too fried and too oily. My wife's black bean and soy pork had very little flavor. My curry on the other hand was well made, although quite heavy with a lot of coconut milk. The wine offered by our very competent server was delicious (Sirah from Leytron) Prices are correct.

Terrible place. Not only is the food disgusting the staff is extremely rude. This may well be the worst place in Saas Fee.

Outstanding food! If you like spice definitely try the Sichuan options such as the Mapo tofu and smacked cucumbers. Such a surprise to find such wonderful Sichuan in the mountains!

Very original Chinese food and very nice people and service

Can't say anything about the food. After having been thrown in the backroom after we came in without a reservation, rudely asked if we wanted anything to drink 2 seconds after we were seated and had tables mats thrown at us, we left. Unacceptable. To be clear: We did not want to eat a pizza, as it is very clear than it is an asian restaurant. The server was just so rude that we did not want to spend our money in a business where we did not feel welcome....

The “new” Chämi-Stuba is also excellent. Under new leadership. Now Asian instead of Italian. Great, Chinese and Thai chefs in the kitchen. We recommend.

Good Chinese and Thai cuisine service is good easen wonderful

The pizza is the best I've ever eaten, with a crispy base and a soft edge. The surface is also top. Unfortunately the service still leaves something to be desired. The pizza came before the main course (spring rolls). When I was finished my colleagues hadn't even had the starter. I had to wait about 10 minutes while my colleagues waited about a whole hour.

Today I was able to enjoy a wonderful pizza in the Chämi Stube restaurant. The Neapolitan style pizza was so excellent. When I asked, the pizzaiolo maestro Marco recommended the Marco's Special Pizza that he had created. This pizza was one of the best pizzas I have enjoyed in my life and I have eaten many pizzas. I was unsure at first when I read the review from a certain Boller Bert. What this person writes is a huge impudence, is unwarranted and is damaging to business. You could consider suing this Boller! Back to the excellent food. My wife is Asian and ordered a Szechuan beef dish. This dish was authentically cooked, quite recent and very delicate. We can only recommend this. My wife and I can highly recommend this restaurant. The prices are very fair and not too high at all. I wish the Chämi-Stube restaurant much success, which they deserve with their excellent food and very friendly and competent service. What I would never want to grant the Chami-Stuben team again are such Boller guests! Many thanks to the Chämi-Stuben team and the pizzaiolo maestro Marco.

The food tastes excellent! 👌👌The portions are quite small, the menu even states that you should order "two dishes" per person. So you have to dig a little deeper into your pockets to get full 💸 But in terms of taste, a visit to this restaurant is worth it and I would recommend it to others🤗

We weren't served at all, a group of 14 people waited for about 20 minutes without drinks and without food, we left, it's a shame

Good service, pizza with all dignity. It tastes like a ready-made pizza, the edge and half of the pizza are still raw. Original Italian and stone oven pizza is advertised. Bottomless impudence!

Chinese food tastes very authentic

Half of our party ate pizza and the other half asian cuisine, both really enjoyed their respective meals!

Excellent service and offers great food option for family - pizza for kids and authentic Chinese food for the adults. We had 老北京炸酱面，腐皮肉卷 and 川香口水鸡。I feel the restaurant is proud of the chefs working hard in the kitchen, you can see photos of them displayed on the wall. Great restaurant for a satisfying meal, especially after a tiring day on the ski slope!

Was a disaster - we were first guests at 7.00 nd ordered. We got the drinks and starter very quickly. However after one hour, yes one hour! We did not have the main course. The service lady was very nice and asked the kitchen several times, nothing happened. We paid…did not even get a free drink… Thus, avoid this place….stay away!,,,

Went there twice, 2 months apart, to see if things were better... and no. Very long wait, very unhelpful and stressed, very small quantity on the plate for Asian food (good pizza).

Unfortunately no good Chinese food. Sauces had a strong ready-made character. Unfortunately, if you're used to good Asian food, you won't be happy with the cuisine here.

I'm just disappointed. Was eating there regularly before the change of ownership, at the time one of the best restaurants in Saas Fee. Now I gave the restaurant a chance today and wanted to see how things are going after the change in management. We wanted to take 2 pizzas (star pizza) with us. We were told to wait 10 minutes, but in the end it was a 35 minute wait. When we went in to ask (after 20 minutes) we were initially ignored for 5 minutes by the serving girls. We were then told to wait another 5 minutes. And when we came in after 5 minutes, we were very rudely told by a waiter's daughter (German) that we should wait another 10 minutes because they were very busy. However, more than half of the tables were still empty. When we got our pizzas, it looked as if salami had first been scraped off the prosciutto pizza and then the ham was simply placed on top while it was cold (normally the ham is put in the oven with it). When we ate our pizza we found pieces of salami on it. I just feel ripped off and will definitely not visit this restaurant again in the future.

The food and service here could not have been better. Both the pizza and the Thai chefs are authentic and talented. I have not had Thai food that good in a long time, and my husband loved the pizza. Our server made us feel so welcomed and took great care of us. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone! My favorite place we ate at!

Price performance is not right at all. Food is good but far too little. Be careful, with the Thai menu you only get a very small bowl of rice and even I, who don't need that much food, wasn't full after eating. We then picked up something from the Coop to supplement our meal. 🙈 Menu 210 (Gaeng Keaw Waan Gai) served a huge bowl with about 1 liter of sauce and a very small bowl of rice. The sauce was not only spicy as labeled on the menu, but very spicy. The taste was very good, but unfortunately there was too much sauce and not enough rice. Menu 214 (Gai Pad Med Mamuang) tasted very good but was a rather small plate with the chicken and vegetables and far too little rice in a very small bowl. Both menus cost 31 euros, which we would have expected to be more than full. For 5.- you could have ordered another small bowl of rice or for 18.- a large bowl, which is disproportionate. We cannot recommend the restaurant. Two stars because the food was actually good. We're happy to pay a hefty price if you get enough for it.

We sat down on the terrace after a walk around Saas-Fee. After more than 10 minutes, no one had come to take an order. Then we left, just like a few other people who were already waiting when we arrived.

We went to the Chämi Stuba restaurant in mid-July to eat Asian food. The best Chinese food since our last trip to China!!! We went there three times in the same week, we enjoyed it so much. The cuisine is very authentic, especially since the chefs come from China and Thailand! For us the BEST Asian restaurant in Switzerland. We will be back! 👏🏻😋

It was an unexpected surprise to be able to taste authentic and delicious Chinese food in a small village deep in the Swiss mountains. The first day we ordered steamed half shrimp with garlic vermicelli (smooth and delicious, highly recommended), fish-flavored eggplant (rich and soft, authentic taste), steamed pork ribs with black bean sauce, bean curd chicken rolls and stir-fried cabbage. The four of us enjoyed our meal so much that we decided to come back the next day for Thai food. Highly recommend the Thai BBQ Beef Salad Yum Nuea Yang, which is spicy and refreshing. The shop also has Italian pizza, said to be the best in the village. Because there are no points, it cannot be evaluated. It is worth mentioning that the chefs here are from China, Thailand and Italy, so the taste can be so authentic. Thanks 🙏

Were a larger group and had consumed over 1,100 euros. Were literally thrown out by the angry boss after 10 p.m.! Door slammed without a word. Really slammed. Laughter and kindness are not her thing. It's a shame, you might think there was no lockdown here and they didn't need customers or the money. We were also accused of having stolen a bottle. => Never again! Food good, service ok, boss needs massive improvement. Just be friendly, even if a group is leaving 10 minutes after work.

The kitchen is top notch. The pizzas are excellent. Very good service and friendly staff. We felt at home. We would like to come again.

No time to finish the starter as the main course is already served, tomato sauce for the regatoni is not homemade. Dish with meat too expensive entrecôte 35.- without fries which are 7.- and without the sauce which is 3.- and without vegetables.

Das Essen hat eine gute Qualität. Leider war die Pizza neben den bestellten Cordon-bleu‘s bereits länger fertig und spätestens nach dem (kurzen) nach Hause Weg kalt. Die Cordon-bleu waren etwas lieblos angerichtet, weder Ketchup noch Mayo dabei und verglichen mit anderen Take-away Anbietern schlichtweg zu zu teuer.

Waren zum Mittagessen hier, 3 Erwachsene und zwei Kleinkinder. Wir haben zwei Kinderstühle erhalten. Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell. Die Pizza schmeckte uns sehr gut.

In der Chämi-Stuba wird man freundlich bedient. Es gibt gute Pizza zu fairen Preisen. Auch gute Fleisch- und Pastagerichte kann man hier essen. Dazu gibt es eine Kinderkarte mit Speisen, die die Kinder auch mögen.

Wij hebben een aantal keer op het zonnige en goed bezochte terras wat gedronken en één keer pizza in het restaurant gegeten. Vriendelijk personeel, lekkere pizza en authentieke sfeer. Prijzen liggen in Saas Fee erg hoog, bijv EUR 13 voor een kleine Margaritha en EUR 20 voor een normale tonijn pizza.

Very beautiful place , summer and winter any season you can visit. Full of chalet. Small town with lot of cable cars to visit top of the mountain. Plenty of restaurants and street food . Day trip or one day stay is highly recommended. SaaS fee is must visit city in Switzerland.
