Don Ciccio in Saas-Fee

Good restaurant in the heart of Saas-Fee. I ate the best gluten-free pizza I have ever tasted there. They are aware and really listen to allergies and intolerances. I really recommend.

If you dream of a nice round Italian pizza with thin dough, this is the right place. We were looking forward to returning to this restaurant but the owner or the pizza maker are certainly not the same as in the past. For a thick and small rectangular pizza you will pay a high price, 26.- a mini tuna pizza I agree that we are in Saas Fée but still we expect better. Note that she wasn't bad either. So to sum up, a little disappointed because we were looking forward to it.

Tourist trap! Low quality Italian food… Room very smelly!

Honestly, we found that our school canteen provides better quality pasta… just below average Italian food. For tourists only! The kitchen smoke is going to the restaurant hence could hardly breathe, toxic and smelly environment… Never again 🤢

Fantastic restaurant, homemade Italian specialties, super friendly team with the boss Ina Barbiero, great wine selection, great wines can be tasted by the glass, see excerpt from the red wine menu in the appendix, great cugina Italiana, tastes very tasty, great friendly team, definitely make a reservation Mostly fully booked, Grazie Mille for the great evening, we'll be happy to come back.

Have been here again and again for years and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, the quality of the restaurant has declined over the years. Unfortunately, the salad buffet has disappeared in recent years and the pizzas can unfortunately no longer be compared to the past or other pizzerias, they hardly have any toppings, too much dough and are far too expensive, but this probably comes from a snowball effect, as some others do Pizzerias in Saas-Fee also charge far too much for individual ingredients on the pizza.

The food had no flavor. The steak was 2 small thin slices boiled in water with a runny brown liquid with a price of $49. There were 2 tables of customers in the restaurant when we arrived. It took over an hour to get our food. The food was inedible.

Proper Italian restaurant serving delicious meals. You will find the Italian soul in every dish. Just be aware they do not have Neaples style pizza (very thin Napoletana) but the square one (Pinsa Romana). I will come back for sure

Great food and very nice service. Really loved the Originale pizza and tiramisu! We felt very welcomed by the staff, and are impressed they can communicate in Swiss German, Italian, French and English.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants we have visited. A classic menu full of really delicious dishes, great pizza, a wine list full of Italian classics, and of course desserts🤩 The restaurant decor, professional service and very nice owners create a fantastic atmosphere of this place! We spent two very nice evenings here. A place absolutely worth visiting!

Very good Italian restaurant, reasonable prices in a modern and pleasant setting, we ate very well there. We were accompanied by the friendliness of the staff throughout our dinner.

We went in January 2023. The staffs seemed friendly but not for our table. I can't find the reason why. Nobody asked us anything which it was not normal because they were nice to every table. I can say that I did or say nothing bad to them. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I still regret to finally leave them some tips.

Food fine, pizza nice and thin. We waited for the food for a very long time (an hour and a half). We were offered a wine for this. Very generous. The ambience is very nice, but when you're cooking, the air can get bad.

Great restaurant with a very warm welcome. My favorite is of course the ossobuco which is a real killer!

This place has the most incredible pizza dipping sauce! We ordered pumpkin soup to start out and it was very flavorful with the perfect amount of seasoning. They have a plethora of vegetarian options and can also do gluten free if asked. The stuffed tortellini with mushroom cream sauce was flavorful without being heavy. The Doc pizza, which had tomato, basil & mozzarella, had perfectly crispy edges and was served with a smokey chili sauce. Believe me when I say you'll want to put that sauce on everything. The meal with finished with a panna cotta surrounded by a moat of sauce made with berries, and an apricot sorbet bathed in an apricot schnapps. Enjoyed our meal so much that we came back the next day and ordered The Doc to go with a side salad.

I know it's listed as a "pizza place", but it is far better than that! We went there with another couple and the food is amazing! We all ended up sharing bites of everything just because it was all so tasty and wanted to share the experience! I definitely recommend having dinner here while you're in Saas-Fee!

Lightning fast service and the food was very tasty!

Sure, it’s corona, but miserable service remains miserable service! Called at 6:30 to ask whether I could have two pizzas for pick-up at 7:30. Certainly, no problem. Upon arrival, I’m told it’s at most 10 minutes late, I should take a seat. 35 minutes later, the pizza is finally ready. The owner only manages a throw away “sorry, it took a bit longer.” I note that this is fine, but that this is not good service, I ordered two pizzas, not a six course menu. He gets really angry, starts screaming that he has all these orders, that he cannot “fly,” keeps pulling on my two pizza boxes that he has me pay for upon arrival. I note that I called in advance, that it cannot be my problem that he overbooked his kitchen. He keeps screaming that “this is how it is, you’ll have to live with it.” In this, he is right: I do have to live with it, it’s 8:10 and I cannot call his competition to order something else, mainly because I am dead hungry . The pizza is average at best, the dough is not fully through. I guess I should have waited 45 minutes. I get it, this entire pandemic situation is difficult. But an “I am really sorry, the service was not good, please come another time and we’ll try to do better” would have been the right approach. But maybe this owner is right: I am just a tourist, others like me will keep coming, and he can treat us anyway he wants, we’ll have to “live with it.” I guess this is also a business model. All I can do is to write reviews.

Wir haben letzten Samstag etwas im Take Away bestellt. Der Herr, welcher uns bediente, war sehr freundlich. Die Pasta wie auch die Kürbissuppe waren sehr lecker. Gerne wieder! :-)

Ordered dough for pizza because we weren't allowed into the restaurant because of Corona. We wanted to top the pizza ourselves. Nothing could go wrong with the dough. Terrific!

Ca change un peu de la raclette et de la fondue... Un restaurant italien tout à fait abordable et délicieux. C'est rapide et le service est parfait et le patron vous salue chaleureusement en arrivant et en partant. Bref un excellent rapport qualité prix

Visitamos este restaurante para cenar y nos alegramos de encontrar una mesa libre para dos, aunque el restaurante estaba bastante lleno. La comida era buena y el servicio amable y rápido. Mi error de spiedini di carne estaba bien preparado y sabroso.

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Bedienung freundlich und steht aufmerksam aber nicht aufdringlich. Sehr feine Küche.

Nach einem anstrengenden Bergtag ein rasches, einfaches Nachtessen gesucht. Während viele andere Lokale schon gut besetzt waren, entschied ich mich gegen 19h die noch leere (hat das etwas zu bedeuten?) Pizzeria zu betreten. Kurze Zeit später waren die meisten Plätze besetzt. Offenbar viele Gäste mit Reservationen. Zu Recht scheint das Lokal einen guten Ruf zu haben: ich genoss einen frischen gemischten Salat und eine knusprige Pizza. Der Service wirkt teilweise etwas chaotisch aber durchaus sympathisch.

Cenamos aquí el miércoles pasado por la noche. Mi palo de carne mixta era bastante agradable y mi esposa disfrutó de una sopa de calabaza ya que no tenía hambre. El servicio es rápido y amigable. Los precios están razonablemente en línea con la media de este bonito complejo vacacional.

Die Pizzas waren sehr fein, nicht zu dick und eine Margharita lässt sich prima mit Zutaten individuell ergänzen, die Bedienung war sehr sympathisch , Tischreservierung am Abend empfehlenswert

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Durfte auch anstandslos als einziger draussen essen. Das Steinpilzrisoto schmeckte sehr gut und hatte auch reichlich Steinpilz drin.Das Tiramisu zum Dessert war phantastisch.(leider gegessen ohne ein Foto zu machen) Kann dieses Lokal nur Empfehlen

Der Pizzaboden und die Pizzasauce schmeckten stark nach Fertigprodukten aus dem Grossmarkt. Für das war der Preis doch eher hoch. Der Büffelmozzarella schmeckte wie normaler. Die Bedienung war freundlich.

Unfortunately the pizza dough and sauce tasted like store bought and overall experience wasn’t good. Wouldn’t recommend to a friend!

As a single parent with 2 young children this was a great choice. Kids enjoyed a lovely pizza while I had a very tasty penne arrabiata. Great service and friendly and attentive staff.

Ça travaille dur, vite et bien, sérieux, rapide, sympa, ils se sont démenés pour que notre groupe puisse faire manger les enfants et ensuite nous installer. Cuisine impeccable, légumes comme on en mange rarement au restau. Bonne carte des vins et grand choix de vins au verre (en saison en tout cas).

Pâtes goûteuses (à la truffe) et pizza aux fruits de mer bien garnie. Salades variées en libre service. Les plats de salades vertes devraient être posés sur un sous-plat réfrigéré afin d’éviter leur flétrissement. Service efficace et sympa. Vin maison proposé tout à fait correct. Adresse incontournable de Saas-Fee !
