Nous avons suivi les avis de TripAdvisor et avons été déçus. Le poulet était de médiocre qualité et mon plat en sauce (curry et gingembre) était très mal dosé. On ne sentait que le gingembre en poudre, probablement de mauvaise qualité car il avait un arrière goût. Nous n'avons pas trouvé le fromage dans nos cheese nann. Aucun intérêt. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht von unserem Essen. Indisches Essen kennen wir anders. Reis als Beilage gab es nicht und auch eine Sauce gab es nur für den Salat.

Das Ambiente ist einfach gehalten, macht aber überhaupt nichts. Das Essen ist sehr gut und man könnte sich durch die ganze Menus essen. Wir haben uns da wohl gefühlt und das Personal war auch sehr zuvorkommend.

Pedimos en Chennai Biryani House vía comer. ch como tenemos de muchos otros restaurantes sin ningún problema. Se suponía que el tiempo de entrega era de 50 minutos, pero después de 1 hora y 45 minutos aún no teníamos nuestra comida. Intentamos llamar, enviar mensajes y no obtuvimos respuesta. Finalmente pudimos comunicarnos con ellos y afirmaron que el pedido no llegó porque tenían problemas con Internet. La comida ya se cargó de mi tarjeta de crédito. Luego dijeron "oh, el pedido está llegando ahora", eso es casi 2 horas después de que lo hicimos. Entregaron la comida 2:30 después de que hicimos nuestro pedido, sin compensación, sin esfuerzo para compensar el retraso, nada, solo excusas. Uno de los platos que pedimos era el plato equivocado o terriblemente quemado, no era comestible. Servicio al cliente cero, experiencia terrible, nunca más.

Service top, super Bratung, der Koch fragte uns persönlich, damti für die Kinder das Essen die richtige Schärfe hatte. Das Essen war perfekt, grosse Portionen.

Waren als Familie zu viert zweimal in der selben Woche im Biryani House. Vollständig zufrieden mit dem äusserst freundlichen Service und dem köstlichen Essen - Tandoori vom Feinsten - wir sind sicher bald wieder Gäste...

Ich habe das Restaurant zufällig entdeckt und bin begeistert. Das Lamm-Biryani und das Naan (aus dem Tandur-Ofen!!!) haben meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Bedienung war ausgesprochen freundlichen und sehr aufmerksam.Bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt in Interlaken werde sicher wieder im Biryani House essen.

Gemütliches Restaurant. Sehr freundliche, herzliche Bedienung. Das Essen war hervorragend. Preis/Leistung war für mich OK. Wir werden wieder in dieses Restaurant essen gehen.

Perfektes würziges Essen. Einfaches Restaurant in einer Hintergasse. Einrichtung einfach. Essen war super lecker. Butter Chicken, Lamm Curry und Palak Paneer sehr gut gewürzt. Dort werden Würzmischungen selber gemacht wie auch der Teig für das beste Naan Bread. Von den 21 indischen Restaurants in Interlaken gibt es nur zwei mit eigenem Tandoori Ofen. Das Chennai Biryani House ist eines davon und das merkt man. Sehr netter Koch welcher auch Deutsch spricht. Er hat uns seinen Tandoory Ofen erklärt und gleich gezeigt, wie ein Naan Bread gemacht wird. Top Adresse, Preis Leistung stimmt, sympathischer Koch und bestes indisches Essen. Für uns ein Must bei jedem Besuch in Interlaken.

The staff were very friendly and adapted the dishes to suit our taste. The food was excellent quality. We will definitely go back on our next visit to Interlaken.

Indisch essen in Interlaken? Dort gibt es viele Touristen aus Indien, die Wert auf gute Küche aus der Heimat legen. Die Somosa kross, nicht fettig, mit gut gewürztem Gemüse gefüllt. Dazu ein frischer Dipp - sehr gut! Das Biryani mit Hühnchen exzellent abgeschmeckt, Reis mit Biss, der flüssige Jogurth mit Kräutern dazu einfach lecker. Wer hätte das gedacht?   Lieferung in unsere Unterkunft in Interlaken klappte reibungslos und schnell. Prima!

Bestelltes Essen zu unserem Hotel. Gute Portionen und ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Schweizer Begriffen. Kann jedoch die Lebensmittelqualität verbessern

I went here for my birthday with my friends and colleagues and had a fabulous meal. We all really enjoyed our pani puri appetizers which were a lovely surprise. Ramanan was a great server and even remembered one of us from a single visit months before! All round happy bellies and smiley faces.

Wir haben vor ein paar Tagen in diesem indischen Restaurant gegessen. Der Geschmack und die Qualität des Essens waren Weltklasse und authentisch indisch. Wir hatten Thali. Es war toll. Ich gebe ihm 4 Sterne, da ich denke, dass es etwas überteuert ist. Insgesamt gutes Essen, guter Service, angemessenes Ambiente und hoher Preis. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert, wenn Sie gutes leckeres indisches Essen haben möchten.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in Interlaken und waren am Silvesterabend auf der Suche nach einem indischen Restaurant. Wir haben uns glücklicherweise für das Restaurant Chennai Biryani entschieden und wirklich die richtige Wahl getroffen!Wir waren rund um zufrieden.Der Service war einwandfrei und das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt.Wir haben das Non-Vegetarian-Thali, das Chicken Tikka Masala und die Prawns Masala bestellt und alles hat vorzüglich geschmeckt.Auch das Naan und der Mangolassi haben klasse geschmeckt.Wir können das Chennai Biryani auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und wünschen alles Gute für das weitere Geschäft!

Auf eat.ch auf 20:15 bestellt. Einmal um 20:30 angerufen, dann nochmals um 21 Uhr. Beide Male wurde ich vertröstet “kommt in 10’, kommt”. Um 21:15 habe ich bei eat.ch angerufen. Der Betrag wurde mir wieder gut geschrieben. Wer mit Lieferungen nicht umgehen kann, sollte es lassen. Zudem lasse ich mich ungern belügen. Schade, als Einheimischer hätte ich gerne öfter bestellt, aber diese Chance wurde massiv vergeben.

Excellent ! Nous avons mangé les samosas végétariens en entrée, ils sont servis avec une petite salade et un incroyable indian chutney! Puis nous avons partagé un plateau de différents mini-pkats indiens avec du riz au milieu, des naans et des chapatis!

We are North Indian punjabis and so were a bit sceptical visiting the place as the name of the restaurant sounded typical South Indian but to our surprise their punjabi dishes were by far the best in Interlaken. We ordered makhani dal and one paneer dish. Both were delicious. The quality of tandoori Roti and Naan was super. We were offered 2 bowls of complimentary rice as well. The staff is well mannered and courteous. We have all the good things to say about this restaurant. Highly highly recommended. Will visit them again when we are in Interlaken next.

A flavour for everyone... Even the kiddies. Such good food for the price! Can't get enough of this place. This has to be a must-do in Interlaken!

Während unseres Familienbesuchs in Interlaken suchten wir nach einem authentischen indischen Restaurant. Glücklicherweise haben wir dieses Restaurant gefunden, das seinem Namen alle Ehre macht. Wir hatten Chicken and Lamb biriyanis, die im typisch indischen Stil (Hyderabadi) zubereitet wurden und mit dem richtigen Anteil an Gewürzen, Aroma und Geschmack hervorragend waren. Ich habe bis jetzt noch kein typisches indisches Lamm Biryani in Europa gehabt. Das Fleisch war gut zubereitet und in kleine Stücke überführt, die sich gut mit dem Biryani vermischten, was einen guten Geschmack und Geschmack ergab. Gleiches gilt für die Chicken Biryani, die wir dort hatten. Obwohl wir eine Weile auf das Essen gewartet haben, war es das wert und half uns zu verstehen, dass das Essen neu zubereitet wurde und heiß, frisch und von ausgezeichneter Qualität serviert wurde. Die Gastfreundschaft des Personals im Restaurant ist großartig. Sie waren sehr freundlich und haben das Essen auch auf unsere individuellen Bedürfnisse und Gaumen abgestimmt. Wir hatten auch die Gelegenheit, den Küchenchef Abhishek zu treffen, der selbst an unseren Tisch kam und uns nach unseren individuellen Bedürfnissen und auch nach dem Feedback nach dem Essen fragte. Er ist derjenige, der das leckere Essen im Restaurant zubereitet, und er ist ein Meister der Zubereitung authentischer indischer Gerichte, würden wir sagen. Wir konnten auch die Besitzer des Restaurants treffen, die interessante Informationen über das Restaurant und die schönen Erfahrungen der Besucher austauschten. Es war eine wundervolle Erfahrung für unsere Familie, dieses Restaurant mit wunderschönem Ambiente und Lage, nettem, freundlichem Personal und hochwertigem, leckerem, typisch südindischem Essen zu besuchen und zu speisen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder in dieses Restaurant kommen, haben eine Chance gegeben und würden es auch unseren Freunden empfehlen

My husband and I are Indian and this is hands down the best Indian restaurant we have been to outside of India. It was truly delicious food...flavorful biryani, perfectly cooked tandoori chicken and delicious paneer.This was our second visit to this restaurant and the second time was even better than the first...if that’s possible. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Interlaken.

I have been lucky enough to live in India for three years..and even luckier to live in Interlaken for 19!! I have known Krishna all those years here. He has assembled a team that is putting out some fab food and service. Hands down the most complex flavors than any other Indian restaurant in town. Now I love the others as well..will support them all, but currently these guys are on fire!! With the only real Tandoori oven in Interlaken/Bern..maybe Switzerland?? The naan bread is the crown jewel. Garlic naan is wonderful and fresh. Give them a try. Prices are reasonable and we hope they stay that way Krishna!!! haha enjoy

Congratulations chef Abhi! You have a great place here. We came here twice in our 2 night stay. That should say enough about this place! Excellent food. We had lamb biryani and vegetarian biryani on the first day, it was absolutely brilliant which forced us to come back again to try out their curries. The 2nd day we ordered curries - chicken chettinaad and paneer butter masala which had the perfect amount of spices. Chef replaced naan instead of rice for my wife's order of paneer butter masala and she loved it!! For anybody in Interlaken and craving for Indian food, this is your place! Cheers

Fantastic food at a fair price (for Interlaken).Main curry and nan was standout. Give veg plus some spinach variation. Taste and texture was first class. The starters samosas were excellent, the paneer starter didn’t travel so well in the nice takeaway trays. In fairness was probably partly due to time to walk home.

I generally don't like writing review, as it's boring to me... But this one is worth the review. As reviews had helped me find this one, so thought of leaving reviews for others. One of the best indian restaurant in Interlaken. You may be confused as there are so many options around, and we also tried few other options before we tried this one, the food quality, service, and cleanliness... Everything 10/10... I actually had tried veg thali here, which had many things in it, and to my surprise everything in thali was perfect, I would say much tastier than what it looked in menu . Everything in thali was steaming hot and fresh unlike other restaurants in Interlaken, who either serve frozen for or not very fresh. I ordered thali for specific reasons, firstt was I could get to taste many things in one go, and other thing was cost effective, and 3rd thing one thali was sufficient for two (just order some extra roti).As we were in Switzerland for quite long time, budget was a constraint, so thali was the best option. We also tried paneer tikka, which was again awesome, tasty and fresh. Overall it was great food, awesome service... Sorry couldn't click pictures of any dishes of that we ordered, as eating that was only thing on mind... And nothing else

This place serves the best Indian food in the whole Interlaken (if not Switzerland). Their biryani is just perfect - full of flavours and excellent quality produce. I will definitely be back, once in Interlaken again. Highly recommended! The value for money is great too.

Excellent food. Great place to eat. They serve rice with Dal or Paneer as a complimentary dish. Found it pocket friendly .

Chennai Biryani house offered delivious south Indian food. Their Biryani's tastes are authentic and chettinad chicken reminds about the native taste. Breads have both North Indian & South Indian flavours! Don't miss the mouth watering Gulab Jamuns!

Highly recommend this Indian resturant. Fresh and delicious lamb biryani. Lamb was very tender and naan was very light and crispy. Get personally greeted by the chef and great hospitality.It’s a must when in interlaken.

Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen, leckere authentische Gerichte aus Südindien. Die Preise sind sehr gut für die Schweiz. Das Restaurant ist sauber und mit einer charmanten Atmosphäre, toller Gastgeber (Krishna) und Personal sind bemüht, zu gefallen. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, wieder dorthin zu fahren und ein anderes Gericht zu probieren.

Als ich durch die Stadt Interlaken ging, suchte ich nach einem indischen Restaurant und es tauchte in den Suchergebnissen auf. Als ich das Chennai Biriyani Haus erreichte, fand ich, dass das Ambiente ziemlich friedlich war. Die Speisekarte schien aus einem typischen indischen Restaurant zu stammen. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich. Wir bestellten Hühnchen Biryani und es war unglaublich. Es war genau das, was ich an einem authentischen Biriyani-Ort in Indien bekommen würde. Wenn ich die Gelegenheit bekomme, das Chennai Biryani Haus noch einmal zu besuchen, werde ich diesen Ort auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen.
