Very good bakery with local products

Always a pleasure to stop by this bakery / pastry shop! I have never been disappointed with anything I have consumed. Please note that there is a great diversity of products. I recently placed a large order of croissants and pain au chocolat for my colleagues, and they were all won over. In addition, the staff is always smiling and welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

Great local products! Go there for the bread, but don't come home without peaches and prunes from the local farms, and amazing butter from two towns over!

The prices are overrated compared to the quality. On the other hand, you can find everything there.

We went there for breakfast on Saturday morning, and we were not disappointed. We were given a table to eat outside in the sun and the staff took great care of us. There is a great selection of pastries and they are to die for. I recommend 100%. The service was impeccable.

Really expensive for the service and quality offered, I ordered a lunch menu: 64 chf for 4 very small lasagnas the sauce was cold.... Really not competitive disappointed

[Do not know how to greet]. I lived in Préverenges from 1990 to 2008 (from the age of 6 to 24), during which time I was a very regular customer; I went there about every 2 days on average. My own mother shopped there every week for often close to a hundred francs. In the good old days, when he came to bring croissants, Mr. Deriaz greeted absolutely everyone, with a sincere smile and joviality. We have seen the friendliness rate plummet in recent years. According to my estimation, this coincides with the concession of the bakery by the Deriaz family (who are the owners, but who no longer work there) and the prior renovation with the establishment of the tea room part. In recent years, the welcome by employees has gone from cordial to stressful. Having lived in Yverdon for several years, I no longer have the opportunity to go there regularly. This morning, before my appointment with the doctor, I go to Deriaz. When I arrive, I greet; no answer. I still finally got the greeting, to order an ovomaltine, which I paid for on the spot, with a tip of more than 10%. The waitress thanked me anyway. As I left I said goodbye to him; no response (from behind, she was preparing coffee, so, at this stage, that could explain). I buy another 500 g of honey from them for CHF 14.-. The saleswoman, whom I have known for around 30 years, finally greets me; a “Hello Sir” just not cold, neutral. She just said “thank you” and gave me change. -When leaving, I said “Have a nice day” out loud to everyone, but the saleswoman had already started a banal conversation with a logistics guy; no answer. -I added a “Goodbye” out loud, and I was only treated to contempt for ignorance.

Nice but too noisy in the morning

This place is a god send in the village. Sells pretty much anything you need including g cold beer and wine! Great selection of breads, pastries and cakes. The cafe at the back is pretty handy for a coffee or snack and the staff are really helpful and friendly.
