If I could rate as minus I would. Tried .. being the operative word to have lunch today. Went in asked waitress or table free, sat at table, waited an age, no clearing of tables, no waitress / waiter .. went to bar to try and order a drink .. told someone will come to your table .. waited a while longer waitress appeared cleared table .. next thing the bar man turns up have we booked a table makes out we shouldn’t be sat there .. no we haven’t booked but we’re seated here by a waitress 🤷🏼‍♀️ .. “oh the girl” .. flounces off .. sat waiting not knowing if we should be at the table or if it’s a mistake we are there … waited some more .. gave up. 40 minute waste of my life will never get back 🤦🏼‍♀️. Definitely one to avoid.

One of the best high-altitude restaurants in the Portes du Soleil, and certainly the best fondue!! A kitchen that reflects the service and very commercial owners. I recommend 10,000%!

Shared 2 croutes between 3 of us for lunch. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were huge. The peche beers were also the best we have had in here so far.

Everything you would expect from an authentic mountain hut. No room at a small table, just a large one. Delicious cheese fondue! Not cheap, but worth the price.

Poet du Soleil's best cheese fondue. The fromage can also be taken with you here. Without a reservation it is difficult to get a table at lunchtime.

In mid-September the mountains are very pretty, the weather is still nice and the view from the chalet is magnificent..... Eating a huge cheese crust with a splash of red while looking at the mountains....... what could be better!!!! We also had fondue to take away, it’s so good 🤤 And finally we drank some small génepis with the boss!! Another 1000 thanks for the welcome and we promise, we will come back next year with a bottle of damastine 😋

Magnificent alpine refreshment bar! Very well located, in the middle of the slopes, with a beautiful view of the Dents du Midi. In summer, it can also be easily accessed from Les Crosets. They only have typical local products and the excellent alpine cheese is made with great passion by the owner's brother. We have tried most of the dishes there and everything is absolutely impeccable. A particular point for the fondue which is incredibly good. Very gently... a delight. Inside, we feel so good that it's difficult to leave... especially after a good jojo, a few artisanal apricots... and a genepis for the road. Can not wait for next year !

At Yoyo and Jibi, it's a family story for 2 generations where generosity and the land go hand in hand. A warm welcome, a reduced choice to guarantee the quality of local and homemade products. We opted for the plain crust and ham egg: killer! We came back because we felt so at home there. We had the sparibs and the sausage with the strange name which are as good as the cheese made by the brother of the house. We had the privilege of seeing the cows being milked and tasting the fresh milk... what a joy this address is, you will not be disappointed!

Exceptional place, extraordinary welcome, not to be missed on each visit. We love and taste the hunters tea and the salé which is a homemade cake with cinnamon.

Le personnel, l’ambiance et le cadre sont fantastiques ! Un esprit familial avec des produits de la région!Si vous voulez passer un bon moment chaleureux ou juste boire un petit verre n’hésitez pas. Je vous le recommande!

Situation exceptionnelle, cadre magnifique, produits locaux maison incroyables, accueil chaleureux! Nous reviendrons quand les restaurants pourront rouvrir afin de profiter pleinement de tous les services. Mais arrêtez vous au cabanon pour manger un croque monsieur juste incroyable avec jambon et fromage maison et boire un verre avec une vue impressionnante, en attendant la réouverture!

service take away rapide ....avec toutes les barriéres sanitaires. .personnel très agréable...prix très corrects...et une vue imprenable sur les dents du midi..

Avant toute chose, je tiens à clarifier que je parle seulement de la partie snack et que je ne suis pas du genre à mettre des commentaires/notes aux restaurants et encore moins négatifs, mais là je m’en sens obligée... Nous sommes venus entre amis profiter d’un déjeuner face à une vue magnifique sur les dents du midi, malheureusement le service est venu gâcher ce beau moment... Une serveuse a été particulièrement désagréable avec mon père et nos amis, en répondant avec une agressivité que je ne saurai expliquer. Pour combler le tout, les sandwichs étaient plus remplis de moutarde qu’autre chose et la bolognaise de spaghettis mauvaise. J’espère que le restaurant n’est pas à la hauteur (ou plutôt à la petitesse) du snack car dans ce cas, partez en courant!

Un grand merci à Eddie de nous avoir si gentiment reçu (dehors devant le chalet à cause des conditions sanitaires) avec un petit verre de gnole pour qu’on puisse se réchauffer, un croque monsieur énorme et une super bonne humeur! Le fromage y est excellent surement car tout est fait maison, une vrai histoire de famille et d’authenticité Valaisane ça fait plaisir! Petite cerise sur le gâteau, on a même pu prendre une fondue à l’emporter pour le soir avec 7 fromages différents, on ne peut que conseiller! Un grand merci et on espère repasser très prochainement dans le coin!
