Magnificent restaurant with superb cuisine. Would always recommend!

The best pre-game pasta in the world!

I have rarely eaten so well. The host knows how to pamper his guests with the finest culinary delights. Whenever you visit Altdorf, it is a must to stop here and enjoy a portion of chicken satay with peanut sauce.

Beautiful establishment and beautiful hosts. The delicious local dishes were served from the heart and the restauranteurs gave great recommendations for hikes and must see locations around the region. Every now and then there was the mysterious sound of a goat coming from somewhere but other than that the stay was great. Would recommend to all!

Was spontaneously at Schalet this afternoon. The sunset on the garden terrace is an absolute highlight. The canton of Uri presents itself from its best side here.

The restaurant takes guests to the culinary mountain peak of Switzerland! A place where hospitality and a rustic ambience are still lived and breathed! If I could choose a place to die, it would be by the fire in the Schalet with a freshly prepared cheesy fondue in the presence of the extremely accommodating landlady! Gladly again and see you soon!

Wonderfully cozy restaurant run by a very charismatic family! A MUST in Altdorf! Were still in the Kra afterwards, it was also very N1.

Premium location. I can only recommend. Chraschi's Bums Curry is better than the Gourmet.
