I can’t recommend this place enough. Owner is one of the best people I’ve ever met. We were craving for some Srilankan food and found this little gem.The food was amazing and the owner even gave us some samosas and boiled eggs for free for our little boy. We always enjoy coming here to eat when we are in Chur. The food is freshly prepared and very authentic. The Kottu Rotti is the best! We feel like we are on vacation in Sri Lanka. It's been a while since my visit, but the memory of it is just great. If you want to eat on site, you can do so in a legendary “Rüümli” diagonally behind the ordering counter. The food (kottu roti) was world class. I would be happy to come back soon.

Nice place to have South Indian food. Food was tasty, prices were decent (keeping in mind the food prices in swiss), portion size was very good. Owner is very friendly. We had samosas, veg curry fried rice and veg kottu roti.

We discovered this place by chance while strolling around and finding places to eat. It was a great feel to meet the owner of the place and had some good conversation with great food.

Had a wonderful and flavorful meal at this hidden gem in Chur. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Amazing authentic food and very kind owner

We ended up at Chutney on our trip to Swiss Alps. And we were surprised to find this hidden gem. The food was delicious and it was open till late on the weekend, which was a bonus. This was the best price to quality ratio place we saw in Switzerland. They were very accomodating and helpful. I will definitely recommend this place.

This small place has honest cuisine and at a price that doesn't seem Swiss. It mainly works with take-out orders, but they have a small room to eat there and a bench under the arcades outside.

A hidden gem for good home cooked south Indian food and Asian food .. served with a lot of heart by the humble owners . A restaurant that shows that size and richness doesn’t matter for taste and a Hosts ! Visited two years ago and made it a point to visit again only to appreciate the hospitality which is left unchanged !! Highly recommended for everyone!

This was honestly the best and filling food for the most reasonable price in all of Switzerland! I mean that truly. Food was freshly made, owner/chef was super friendly and he gave us complimentary samosas since we were there at 6:15 PM and very hungry!! Not only that, he gave us complimentary dessert and refused to accept payment for the samosas. We ordered the Vegi Kottu Rotti and Veg Biriyani and both were delicious! Portion sizes were quite filling and food was healthy (it was not running in oil, usually places like this are tasty but unhealthy). The place is small but clean. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re hungry and around Chur looking for something hot, spicy and yummy.

Hungry? Want to just eat a delicious, sumptuous dinner without any fuss? Chutney Asian Food corner is a low-key joint with excellent, freshly prepared food. We had some delicious vegetable biriyani and vegetarian kottu roti. Although it feels like a late-night joint, the quality of the food is surprisingly good. As we were waiting for our food, the owner was so kind and gave us some tasty vegetable samosas for free! What’s more, even when we offered to pay for the samosas, the owner didn’t accept our money - truly a professional! Finally the chef also gave us free dessert, we were truly touched by the generosity. I cannot remember the last time I had a complete 3-course meal for 22 CHF, in total, for two people! The portion sizes are so huge that we had some leftovers at the end. Highly recommended!

Initially very good quality, now the quality is deteriorating or he no longer has certain products and is selling frozen spring rolls (vegetables)! as chicken rolls. The worst thing is that he hired a very strange guy there. This one makes it worse...fish and meat frozen

This is a small street food kind of place with a small dine-in hall. The food is authentic Indo-asian. The chef is awesome and hospitality is top class. He will never let you leave hungry and your satisfaction is his 1st preference. Give it a try 👍

Hey everyone! Super nice boss, the food tastes fantastic! Freshly prepared and special requests such as vegan food are also catered for. I can highly recommend the homemade spring rolls! Gluten-free and vegan, he has something there, even at a late hour. If you're lucky you'll get one of his delicious sesame ball desserts Enjoy it!
