Amazing Ambience & Service. Authentic indian Food.

Had a booking for dinner, when arrived party was going and no receptionist, very loud and had to leave

Very friendly and good - this branch of "Tamarind Hill" is now great! Above-average selection of dishes.

Basically we were happy with everything. The first Indian restaurant in Switzerland, which prepares dishes spicy and spicy. The portions were also decent and each ingredient was served on its own plate, as is customary in Indian food culture. Mango Lassi was the only one that didn't exceed our expectations. Otherwise I would like to come by in the future. The menu is very varied.

Very good food and authentic too. If you like it quiet, you're in the wrong place here. It also has a lot of Indian tourists, which makes the atmosphere all the more authentic 1😊

Hit and miss consistency is a problem. Dined in and ordered take away several times. On one occasion some of the dishes were delicious but seems each subsequent order the quality and taste has sadly been declining. With the last time being below average at best. One of the fish starters was my favourite items but the most recent one was borderline tasteless. The freshness of some of the other starters were clearly reheated or refried. May try ordering again in future but for now not recommending to friends.

We had a wonderful lunch for a birthday and arrived with two children under 5. The staff was extraordinarily welcoming and helpful. The food was amazing! However, all the options we ordered were a bit too spicy for one of my toddlers. I think for a lunch menu there could be one barely spiced item on the menu, maybe we missed it. But overall absolutely enchanting and we will definitely be back.

You feel like you are in India. Fast, competent, very friendly service and the quality of the food is great and more than tasty. Always happy to do it again!

There were 4 of us and everyone ate deliciously and generously. Butter chicken, thali lamb, garlic naan, everything was delicious. The staff is super friendly, accommodating and attentive. We'll be back, thank you very much and keep it up.

A new Indian is making his presence felt. Surprised on the first visit, all dishes freshly prepared, with lots of vegetables and herbs, certainly worth a trip for vegan guests. We had various starters as well as the tandoori chicken from the oven and were thrilled. Small wine list, a few more treasures could be presented here, strong Argentinians would be suitable, or rich grape varieties such as Tannat, Malbec or Petit Verdot.

Stellar experience at this lovely little urban oasis. Enjoyed the lunch Thali special on a weekday, and we practically had the entire terrace to ourselves in perfect weather! Service with a smile, checking in if all is ok. Good price for a colorful spread of little bowls - rice, chicken Tikka masala, mint sauce, pakora, dal, and fresh salad. Added garlic naan and mango lassi. They also made it just the right spice level for us - not too much, not too little. Ambiance felt like a garden Oasis, with elegant umbrellas and palm plants. Parking was easy - several spots right in front of the terrace, on same level. Easy for me on crutches to get from car to table. Definitely will go back!

Great Indian Restaurant! The menu is varied with also unusual dishes. The service is great: friendly, courteous employees who can also give good advice. The waiting time is okay. The interior design is beautifully done, looks Indian, chic and relaxed. The quality of the dishes is quite good. I was very pleasantly surprised that they offer good wines, with the right advice to match the dish. I recommend this address!

Definitely recommend a visit here especially if vegetarian as they had a large selection to choose from.

Went there for lunch and had Chicken Kadai: Incredibly tasty, big portion and very affordable. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was authentic. Perfect!

Amazing experience…it’s really fancy, very friendly staff(but their uniforms are not so great, kurta color not matching with overall restaurant colors & looks like they are wearing a bag as it’s few numbers bigger, it’s a pity!) Amazing food but portions are somehow small compared to the prices in the menu. But great atmosphere overall , will definitely come back here :)

good, authentic Indian cuisine. Food and drinks are beautifully decorated. There are mild dishes for children. Attentive and friendly service. There was also a small greeting from the kitchen at the end. We will be back!

Open for a few weeks, the Cinnamon Garden is managed by the same owners of Tamarind Hill in Oerlikon, which has been among the best Indian restaurants in the canton for years. So quality and know-how are not lacking. Excellent prices and several parking spaces available.
