The food from the buffet was very good. Everything was always freshly prepared and the selection was ok. If you're looking for a cheap all-you-can-eat Chinese place, this is a great choice :) Food quality is solid and prices are very fair. Not the most fancy looking restaurant, but if you're expecting that, what are you doing here?! ;)

Buffet/lunch. Versatile Asian/Chinese cuisine; leaves a fresh, clean impression. Attentive and quick delivery of various dishes. The location is large enough so that there is no crowding at the buffet. Asian staff, very hospitable.

I've been wanting to reserve a table here for some time because of the large number of positive reviews ("Best in Zurich"..."Excellent, varied buffet"...etc.). By chance I was nearby and spontaneously walked past. I was assigned a spot outside the tent, next to a heater. :-( The "giant" buffet only consisted of 2 counters (one chilled with dessert, sushi and salad, the other warm with meat, vegetables and side dishes) and was underwhelming. I took a little bit of everything in order to possibly be taught something better... but, none. Sushi was standard and partly with dried out, tasteless rice, the surimi had a very strong fish taste. Even though surimi translates to "ground meat", it should taste fresh, slightly salty-sweet, mild with a slight hint of fish, but not here. The meat was equally disappointing. Cheap wholesale product with ready-made sauce from the canister, i.e. salty and with a flavor enhancer. The fried foods were very dripping in fat and also not homemade, let alone edible. I don't even need to talk about dessert here. Some sliced ​​fruit, frozen tiramisu and ice cream. Since the buffet is offered relatively cheaply (by Zurich standards), you have to make money from drinks. The best way to do this is with the soy sauce that is on the table (guaranteed not Kikkoman). My bottle contained a cheaper version that was thinner and extremely salty, so much so that it burned my throat. I'm not sensitive to food and eat out several times a month (including sushi or similar), but what was offered to me here... No thanks. Thank God I didn't make a reservation for our group here.

Good Asian cuisine. Don't miss the buffet. Delicious and constantly replenished. Don't forget the cocktails. They have space to park at the door. If I have a fault, it is because of the atmosphere. The decoration is minimal, but everything else is great.

Nihao First class staff and food. I tried buffet with a few vegan options (sushi with mango/mango and avocado/tofu/avocado), one of it was exceptional with coconut, mango and avocado. Also there was plenty of veggies (cucumbers, salat, broccoli, maybe also something I did not notice). When lovely lady from staff found out I am vegan, I was offered extra tofu with veggies and rice with veggies, just for me. My heart just melted ❤️ There were also fruits, mango, ananas, melon, grapes,all fresh and very nice. For non vegan also tiramisu which I heard is very good also. Price was ok for the amount and quality of food and service. Better reserve a table, because place was fool and I was lucky to have one spare table for 1.5 hour. Btw it was enough to eat without a rush. There is a variety of wines, some asian beers, alco and non alco drinks and stronger alcohols. I felt very good in this place and I can strongly recommend it. Lots of positive points. Beautifully prepared and well-maintained rich buffet. The individual containers are not “overloaded” (are refilled regularly). For people who like “buffet”, certainly not for the cozy tête-á-tête.

It's not exactly like in the pictures much less food at sushi there were many dishes in the pictures and only 4 in the restaurant

Everything's fine, but "woe betide you" if you don't take a drink to the buffet. The waitresses no longer understand the humor when a high-margin business is dealt with harshly. Still great people!!

The food is very authentic and delicious. Very diverse menu, there is something for everyone. The service is very friendly.

There were two of us there and we had a great buffet meal. But what really bothered me were two older women from the staff, one of whom noticed that I had left a bit too much wasabi on the plate and exclaimed: "still so much wasabi" when I tried to answer her that I had never assumed She didn't even listen to the fact that this was 4X spicier than the wasabi I usually know. For me this was like a wave of a fence post. The two older women on staff were more of a nuisance to both of us, like two supervisors. They always looked at what you were taking, I almost didn't dare touch anything anymore. However, the young staff or the owners were very nice and accommodating. I'll definitely try again, but I'll let you know if it works again.

Good buffet with a variety of dishes, sushi, vegetables, meat, sauces and dessert. Very friendly service even for large groups. Very busy atmosphere with the stone floor and wooden chairs, noisy but great for a good hot meal.

Good buffet but with limited options. We went on a Sunday for lunch and frankly WAY too pricey for a Sunday lunch - 38.50 per person. Wouldn't recommend based on price and service alone.

Discreet selection of dishes, good quality and great service.

I came here for the buffet dinner and enjoyed it. I was craving Chinese food and this place satisfied my craving. The service was really exceptional! Very friendly waiters and they even made extra sushi for us because there was no more left, and since we arrived later. There is a nice variety of dishes and even sweet fruit desserts, chocolate Fondue fountain, and ice cream. I could recommend it if you're looking for Chinese food and I would likely be back next time for another craving.

Great all-you-can-eat restaurant! I've never eaten anything here that I didn't like. The service is friendly and the buffet is very large. For me, definitely one of the best Asians in the canton of Zurich!

The food is very good. Meat dishes are also prepared very delicately. The selection is not quite as large as you would find in restaurants of the same type in Germany. The price is quite okay for Swiss standards. The service was attentive and friendly. So absolutely recommended for Swiss conditions.

Excellent service and good Asian flavors food

Didn't see that many smiles on the staff's face (not that much of a priority here I guess...). We went for the buffet menu. To be honest the food didn't taste necessarily fresh and the choice is pretty limited. At the end we asked for tea for two people, and they came with two teapots (each enough to fill 5 or 6 cups of tea!) charging 12 CHF for them... That's so not what we meant with that order, and at least tell us in advance what they mean with tea and therefore that one teapot would have been enough!!! The only good thing about the dinner was the ice cream... Never coming back here again, there are way better options in terms of Asian food in Zurich!

Valentine's Day! It was very full, but we did. But got a place at short notice. Thanks! Food was good for me, but there was still room for improvement, it was missing that certain something, I guess it was because of this special day. Buffet selection was good, nicely presented, often refilled, nice greeting and farewell. We will be back.

We were able to indulge in culinary delights again. Delicious fresh sushi in a colorful design and the buffet invites you to grab it. The soup is a must and so is the homemade tiramisu. Thank you Aihua and your great team 😍

Went to Nihao for the first time and will definitely be back. We ate a la carte and will definitely eat buffet a discretion next time. The food was very good and the portions were large for a fair price. Staff friendly and attentive. I can really recommend it.

After the numerous positive reviews, we visited the restaurant yesterday...the food was ok, but not overwhelming...ambience...like a motorway restaurant...not a place to stay longer after eating...

The Nihao restaurant offers a great buffet that scores primarily with its quality but also with its selection. From Peking soup to sushi to dumplings, there is something for almost everyone in the buffet. After taking a look into the open kitchen, I can assure you that the dishes are constantly freshly prepared. Amy's staff is always friendly and attentive. Special requests will be taken into account. Her top priority is that customers are satisfied. The quite large wine selection offers the right wine for almost every occasion. Otherwise, you can safely choose from a large selection of other drinks (soft drinks, tea, beer, etc.). The terrace also offers pleasant places to sit in a quieter area when the weather is good. Overall, the furnishings are rather simple and, above all, always kept clean. Overall, I can recommend “Nihao” to anyone who can enjoy a good buffet in a good atmosphere :D

The meal was very satisfying. It was a buffet style, and there was Chinese food, sushi, desserts, etc. When I finished eating and tried to pay, my check card was gone and I didn't have any cash, so I apologized and sent the money through the Bank of Korea application. I explained that it would arrive in a few days and if I didn't believe him, I would leave my passport and go to the embassy tomorrow, but the waiter in charge said we would return. I trusted him and sent it to him as is. After returning home, I checked and found that the money was transferred normally, and I still feel very grateful. Prosper, I will definitely stop by again when I go to Switzerland.

Although it is Chinese food, it looks like Chinese food, and smells like Chinese food, but it does not taste like serious Chinese food, but more like an improved version of Chinese food that caters to foreign tastes. In fact, there are very few Asian faces among the customers. But it's not that it's ridiculously improved. Maybe it's just a certain local cuisine that I'm not familiar with. Regardless of whether it's authentic or not, it's okay to eat. The service attitude was not very good. I bought some water and impatiently waved me back to wait. Halfway through the meal, I was asked not to put the bones on the table. This was the first time in my life that I was told by the waiter that I should put the bones in a restaurant. Where it is, it’s really eye-opening.

This was the third time I was in the Nihao involuntarily. The food is mediocre at best. Unfortunately the service was very bad. You don't feel welcome or you even have the feeling that you're not ordering the right thing because of the reaction of the waitress. In addition, we tried several times to simply clear away our plates during the "à la discretion" menu. They just jumped in without asking anything first. In addition, the whole thing is relatively expensive. I can recommend Suang Long. Better food for a cheaper price.

My boyfriend and I went here with two other friends for dinner with the "all you can eat" option. The environment is quiet and clean, polite waitresses, perhaps I would have liked them with a few more smiles. The assortment of the all you buffet... is small BUT really fresh and good. It is constantly being replaced because the amount of food prepared is limited to small containers, BUT it is depressing to wait for sushi and arrive and find only two small pieces, in full service hours, so I expect to always find it full. Delicious fruit, with a chocolate fountain continuously available to customers. I would have liked to find other desserts, perhaps traditional Chinese ones such as fried ice cream (I associate it with them) or other more traditional ones, not tiramisu!!! As an Italian I can say that that was not a tiramisu, pleasant but not a tiramisu. With the hope of finding more abundance, other products and other desserts I will return to find them, perhaps trying the à la carte menu. I will provide you with more information with photos and comments.

It is a buffet restaurant, but you can also order à la carte. Everything I tried was delicious. It's also inexpensive and the service is friendly. Located somewhat remote in the middle of a residential area. It's definitely worth it, it won't be my last time there!

Worst food poisoning of my life... Scandal . On vacation in Zurich, we ate on Saturday evening, me and my husband were sick for 24 hours. Lock yourself in the hotel room. Neither should you go if you don't want to lose 5 kilos in one night.

Ridiculously fantastic food and service. came for a lunch buffet all you can eat. There was, obviously sushi, Some great noodles, fried chicken, spicy chicken, fried fish. The spring roll. Everything tasted fresh! Ordered the lychee juice and it was just as I like it, Not to sweet not too diluted. The picture attached is me butchering the desert, which includes fruits and tiramisu. Highly recommend this place.
