City Grill in Winterthur

I can only recommend a very clean snack bar, friendly staff and delicious food

1: Opening times Wrong, it wasn't open at 9:00 am. 2. Chicken meat for kebab, fresh, I don't think so dry? 3. Flatbread or pocket bread, which could be warmed up a bit before serving. I'm also unsure whether they are fresh or not. Not recommended.

The kebab box for lunch today was super tasty. Just the right mix of meat, fries, vegetables and sauces. The best kebab box in Winterthur for a long time. I'd love to come there.

I doubt whether the meat is fresh. Dürüm fart dry, sauce somehow Mayo Ketchup Mix 13.- hmm is probably due to the location rent but definitely not the quality. At least friendly staff

Good kebab, good service, good price. Very good service, I always go to buy a kebab in a hurry and although I was a "not very friendly customer" more than once, I was always served well and quickly.

Never experienced something so disrespectful in a snack bar: A young woman came to the snack bar in the evening. She asked quite normally if it was still open. An employee just said: "Yes, otherwise she could start cleaning the floor straight away." If you want to be served by people who were raised well by their mothers, you might want to avoid this snack bar.

Super delicious food, very friendly service and I was even allowed to use the staff toilet again and highly recommended ❤️

I ordered shawarma instead of a real shawarma I got a flatbread with just meat and salad! Without potatoes, hummus, eggplant and other products that go with it. I asked if that was all and the employee replied yes. Definitely not 12Fr. Value! That was a kebab but not even half as good. Never again!

Hygiene regulations are not adhered to...it is unreasonable to handle/prepare customers' money and food with the same glove.

Was there spontaneously over lunch recently. I ordered 2 Dürüms. The staff was super friendly and accommodating as well as quick. The two Dürüms tasted fantastic, and I'm pretty picky about the meat :)

Worst kebab in Winterthur never again

The staff was very friendly. But the pocket bread had a crack at the bottom, which is why the kebab fell apart. The taste was okay, but the kebab had little meat in it for the price and it was stacked in such a way that at first you only had salad and only meat at the bottom. I probably won't get another kebab there.

I'm amazed at all the bad reviews. The Dürüm Gyros I had was by far one of the best I've ever eaten as a kebab lover, really good sauce and incredibly good beef. A culinary delight!

Can't make kebabs/falafel. Falls apart straight away and flatbread sticks to the paper. Lame!

The Kebab is very good, better than in other places in Winterthur. The price for a kebab is less than in other places nearby.

Contrary to other reviews, the staff was friendly. Unfortunately the kebab box was stacked in such a way that I could certainly have done it better myself. For a rather high price. I'd rather not anymore

I've been eating here regularly for several years and it's always been delicious. No matter whether it was kebabs, hamburgers or other snacks, I was never disappointed. I have the feeling that it is always very clean, I always felt very comfortable! I can only recommend you to eat here!

Small portion, unfriendly staff and poor hygiene Just bad food

This borders on bodily harm! Apart from the fact that the lady was unfriendly to poop, today I had the most hair-raising experience in a long time. I ordered a chicken kebab, the lady first scraped layers of old fat from the grill, delicious. Then the raw (!) chicken was slapped out of the salad onto the grill using tongs. The vegetables were then at least thrown onto the grill with the glove, which doesn't do much good when you handle the customers' money with the same glove... I thought, well, she'll use new pliers later. NOOOOO with the same tongs she wanted to put the raw chicken in the (slightly rotten) salad. When I then intervened and said that it probably wouldn't work, I received the stupid answer that she always does it like that. At the mention of hygiene regulations there was a shrug of the shoulders. Enjoy your meal... Totally annoyed, she put the tongs in the sink and took out a new one. Doner kebab wasn't edible, maybe it's better that way. Well, long story short. Hygiene regulations are unknown there, the shop and the lady are an impertinence to your health. Never again!

No homemade pizzas, everything is gruesome! Even leaving the star hurts me.

I don't know where to start. 1. the doner meat is old and doesn't taste good. 2. I've never had such a loveless kebab before. very unfriendly lady! 3. Hygiene/food standards are not adhered to at all, i.e. the lady washed the dishes with the same greasy multi-gloves and then made the kebab without changing the gloves or at least rinsing them off. 5. kebab tastes like it was made; shit 4. terrible music which I don't care about Conclusion: the worst kebab I've ever had and now I hope it doesn't cause my stomach ache!

Hygiene standards are probably a foreign concept for this shop. The review below me pretty much says it all. Unreasonable!
