Hidden down a side street, the food and ambiance were great, service was warm and helpful. Had dinner here, so was unhurried. Apparently most of the busy times here are during the work week at lunch with all the banks around, so sneaking in for weekend dinner gets you the quality without the crowds. I had the house-designed sausages, the rib-eye, and they were both fantastic.

First, I would recommend that they purchase a couple of outdoor lamps for their seating area. It was disappointing not being able to see each other clearly or the food we were eating. Considering they charge 10 euros per bottle of water, I'm confident the owners can afford this improvement. Secondly, the wine selection appeared more extensive on the menu than it actually was in their "cellar" (don't expect their wines to be kept in a cool cellar, because it's not one.) I inquired about several bottles that were not available, and I ended up enjoying a nice glass of their natural Chianti selection. The service was quite slow, which could be attributed to the waitstaff having difficulty identifying their guests needs in the dark. When you charge such high prices (approximately 50 francs per dish), service should not only be friendly but also more efficient. I have ordered fish for 2 people. (the was 52 for both) They came by car as 104 for the fish. They mean that we write 52 for 2 people, we mean 52 for each person. The MANAGER came and said the same thing!!! They think that there may be a misunderstanding, but I have to pay it.... The way they spoke gave me the feeling that it's not the first time…. But the food was good and tasted good.

We came here on a Tuesday so the restaurant was rather empty, but my goodness was this an absolute gem! Coming here for the great service alone was worth it. So kind, respectful and attentive with a personal touch. Instead of handing you a wine list, you get to go down to their wine cellar and really chat to them about what you like and they help you find a great pairing for your meal. The food was delicious too. Perfectly cooked meat, delicious bread and butter and the vegetable basket was a delightful surprise too.

The food quality was very good and the staff were polite. There were no menus.. which was fine as this was a tasting menu which wasn’t stated on the website when booking and there was no mention of price. The total bill was 310 CHF for two tasting menus and one glass of wine each. Secondly there is an open bar down from the restaurant where a-lot of people were smoking which was blown up into the restaurant which isn’t pleasant. Was also charged 18CHF for 2 bottles of tap water. Over all an “ok” experience but wasn’t worth 310CHF

Had business lunch at Coco today. Menu rather unimaginative, for vegetarians/vegans there is a large salad bowl with a cooked tahini carrot for the main course. Unfortunately they seem to have taken the curries off the menu. Otherwise only 3 main courses with meat and one with fish. The gazpacho as a starter seems more like a cold version of a tomato sauce, far too fattening. The Spanish white wine recommended by the staff was unfortunately very sweet. A member of the service staff only spoke English and did not understand Tsüritüütsch. All in all, Coco has given up a lot compared to last year. You can save yourself.

Super cute spot at great location in Zurich! But, a big but: We came to Coco for a business lunch, we ended up waiting more than 1 hour for our salad (!) with chicken and prawns. And then they brought the wrong salad as well. The food was okay but not worth waiting that long and also I still felt hungry afterwards. They don‘t have a written menu, instead they tell all choices which would be a lovely idea if there were only few dishes but makes it complicated if there are a lot. Also, in the end I ordered a cappuccino which never arrived unfortunately.

Charming restaurant in the heart of Zurich; the food is OK, but the stories behind it and the waiters' presentation outweigh the actual value of the plates. What's a bit annoying is the constant insistence on selling you more wine even though we said we didn't want to drink more than 1-2 glasses. All in all, a uniquely good experience.

We wanted something new and different to celebrate our 1-wedding anniversary, so my wife and me chose this "alternative" restaurant because we were intrigued by their Überraschungsmenu. The staff is super friendly and the effort they take in explaining how every dish is made or checking in how everything is going was really appreciated. About the food: well, to be honest I didn't know you could cook such nice meals using radish, fenel, and so on. The spare ribs as well as the fish were just superb! We'll definitely consider coming on some other occasion!

Totally overpriced. The concept and the location is nice. You get served 5 courses as a surprise menu. Not once they talk about the price. When getting the bill one is shown that one avarage course with wolfsbarsch and vegetables is charged with 135CHF. For sure the quality was fine but the food is way overpriced, which ruins the experince. Would not recomend to go there. For the same price you can eat in Worldclass restaurants, where this one defintely does not belong to.
