There should be more of this type of cafe! A place to just be... Cozy like in a parlor, fine little things and all sorts of fine things to drink. You can also donate a coffee here, which will then be served to someone who cannot pay. It's called: "Kafi Surprise" and is carried and advertised by the street magazine "Surprise". However, there are probably more donors than consumers...

Here everything is served with a lot of love! The flask coffee tastes great, but I have to compromise on the croissant...thanks, I'll be back💖

This place had been on my bucket list since I came here for work last September. Last Saturday I finally went there and it was such a good experience that I want back on Sunday! Super nice place, super friendly staff and great coffee! Pumpkin spiced latte was the best I have ever had in my life but also the normal latte is delicious! Will definitely go back!

Beautiful terrace with tables under the trees, stylish and warm interior. Shelf with beautiful and fine products. Chess boards and games to use. Nice wall for pinning offers and needs from private individuals ("I'm looking for an apartment", "I'm offering Italian language courses", etc.) It's always exciting to stop by and see if you can help someone or be helped with something yourself. For people who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford it, you can prepay for one or more coffees. Excellent concept.

I almost never felt so good in a place...it has a distinct atmosphere, nothing wrong there,simple perfect.

It's very cosy and a nice place for breakfast or brunch. We did not go for the all you can eat option (which has to be ordered in advance). Home-made scones are fantastic, and the pastries are also very tasty. The service is really welcoming and nice. Cherry on the cake, there is a huge playroom next to restaurant.

We enjoyed a wonderful brunch and were treated very kindly.

Definitely the wrong place for a quick lunch! For the seemingly endless patience to place the order and the growling stomach until the food arrives... I am finally treated to a very fine kale soup and, what is important, appeased!

Very social. There is a large children's corner if it is occupied there are toys. And in summer you can be outside. Everything on offer is usually organic and fair trade. I live 100 meters away and often come for coffee and cake. Prices are justified and everything is offered.

A nice coffee place which belongs to the nearby church. As such I believe you can park in their grounds... wich is helpful as parking is quite limited in the area. Venue is great for toddlers as there is a large room with lots of toys for them to play with (although make sure to call ahead to see if available as only certain times). We were able to relax a bit there while they ran around which is always appreciated. The food/coffee is mostly decent, nothing noteworthy except a really nice English scone which was the highlight.

Lovely people and great coffee. Slightly off the beaten path. But worth a visit on a Sunday afternoon. Kids love it as there is a small play area, board games and a few puzzles.

Cozy neighborhood café, great latte and delicious pastries. There’s also a selection of local hand-crafted products like soaps, jams, knitted items. If you’re coming by car, with a bit of luck you might find a parking spot in the street.

Wonderful cafe, where you least expect it. Great coffee, you just have a large cappuccino. In fact, the food is fabulous, I particularly liked the homemade muesli. Really fresh and lovingly prepared. Not to forget the nice staff, the calm person and extremely friendly. There was always a smile on the face. I would definitely be a regular here if I lived right next door.

Very nice neighborhood cafe. Food is excellent and the staff is very nice. There's also a little shop where you can buy different hand made items, baby toys and preserves.

As always, very good and friendly service, although there is "only" take away (for well-known reasons) and - important in times when restaurants are closed! - a toilet that you can use. Thanks for everything 👍

Very pleasant cafe, you can sit there longer without having to constantly order something new, everything is very clean and of good quality, tap water is free. I'm always happy to be there regularly.

Very nice, small café which is also open on Sundays. The prices are absolutely OK and the service staff is very friendly. Coffee and cake was very tasty. Payment with a contactless debit card was also possible, great!

Sehr schöner Ort mit Tee und Gebäck. Freundliche Atmosphäre und Art weiters. Ein Ort außerhalb Großbritanniens, an dem Sie Scones zu einem vernünftigen Preis kaufen können. Espresso habe ich ganz nah am italienischen Stil. Ich kann dieses Hotel wirklich empfehlen

Best coffee in Zurich! We had a cappucino and a cappucino grande and they were not only visually appealing, but also really, really good. The staff is extremely polite and friendly and there is a play area/game room for children. “Deferred coffees” are also offered, ie. you can pay for a coffee in advance for someone else who can't afford one - very nice idea to make everyone feel welcome!

Cozy place for a brunch, but you should reserve to have a place. All you can eat concept - simple swiss choice:) price value amazing! The personal is outstanding, thanks, we will come again:)

Very milky Chai Latté for hot days. Includes recycled products for sale, jams, community notice board, bike parking, bluezone car parking opposite, and garden seating. There’s a bar until 2200 on Thursdays. Reminds me of the neighbourhood culture in Berlin ;) Also includes social projects such as organised haircuts on certain days for those needing help. Includes Scones on the menu ;)

Cappuccinos and freshly made, wholesome sandwiches - 👌. This volunteer-run place is neatly tucked-away in Schwamendingen. There were other sweet and savoury options on offer that we hope to sample on our next visit. Meanwhile, while the coffee and sandwiches fetch the place 4 stars, the extra 5th is for the smiles and warmth that came our way.

A beautiful, cozy cafe for young and old, for a conversation with other guests or with one of the super friendly and committed volunteers. Everyone is warmly welcomed and becomes friendly welcomed. And in summer, all the homemade delicacies are served in the beautiful garden with lots of trees for shade. So worth a visit at any time of the year.

A meeting place for people from different backgrounds, very friendly service, attractive and clean location. We would have expected slightly larger portions for the price of CHF 15.50. We'll still come back because we're impressed by the idea of ​​the café.

Da wir sehr nahe wohnen, bin ich regelmässig Gast im Coffee&Deeds. Auch unsere Kinder fühlen sich hier wie zuhause und bestellen sich regelmässig einen Babyccino (Milchschaum mit Schokoladepulver), ein Marshmallows und einen Kindersirup (alles gratis). Man wird zuvorkommend und herzlich bedient. Das Ambiente gefällt mir sehr gut, ich würde es als "Industrial Style Chic" bezeichnen. Eigentlich passt es so gar nicht in dieses eher bieder wirkende Quartier. Seit es 2015 eröffnet wurde, fragt man sich aber, wo man vorher nur war... Ich liebe das Café, insbesondere den Grando Cappuccino und den frischen Ingwertee, und natürlich die Menschen hier.

Als Gast fühlt man sich hier immer Willkommen und auch die kleinen Gäste kommen hier auf ihre Kosten. Die besten Scones mit selbstgemachter Clotted Creme in Zürich gibt es im Coffee&Deeds. Das absolute Highlight für die Kinder ist der Saal, in welchem sie spielen dürfen.

Very delicious breakfast and good service. You will usually find very lovely and interesting customers there to talk to. My personal highlight on the menu: Suspended coffee - you pay for a coffee now and someone else in need will get it later.

Breakfast on Sunday, without the hustle and bustle of Zurich, fair prices and very friendly and attentive service! We will be back :)

Ein fabelhafter Espresso im ruhigen Garten genossen, begleitet von einem sehr leckeren Pistazien-Eis aus einer Hof-Produktion. Auch Gebäck etc. sah verführerisch aus. Der Brunch ist bekannt hier. Aber auch andere Anlässe lohnen den Besuch. Falls das Wetter nicht sommerlich ist: Indoor ist es gemütlich, hübsch und speziell eingerichtet.

Overall a great location which brings comfort and ease to bring a stressful day to a close.
