COFFEE in Zürich

The service was nice and the coffee was sweetly decorated. I ordered a double espresso to go that tasted incredibly sour. Inedible… And you pay 6 CHF for that…

A favorite in the still pretty thin landscape of specialty coffee places in Zurich. Top notch beans (changing every other month) and pouring, various yummy pastries. I‘m intrigued by the simplicity of the place and its decision to present itself with a spark though not flashy.

Expensive coffee and it was lukewarm. Considering they are called 'Coffee' you'd think they would know how to make a cup. It was tasty despite being cold and the banana bread was nice, but way too expensive for what you got.

Have been a casual customer over the years, my wife asked for a serviette, girl serving was standing beside them told my wife to get it herself. This was after sending back her ginger tea. We paid an left. Appalling attitude. Shame it’s one of my fav coffee haunts in Zurich. 😱

Delicious roast, more acidic than I would normally like, however, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Both the oat and cows milk was heated correctly, and the barista made lovely latte art. For an oat flat white with extra shot and regular flat white the price was a steep 15.30 CHF.

Nice place. The staff is friendly. Unfortunately the coffee was too mild. You are also not asked what level of roast you want. The prices are half as high as usual in Zurich.

Best coffee shop in Zürich! My go to for great speciality coffee - I always get the doppiolatte with oatmilk and a slice of the banana bread. Side note - great music always playing …. How? I don’t know but I appreciate it.

Stopped in for a quick latte before exploring the city. The person behind the bar was friendly and helpful. We had the dirty chocolate mocha latte. It was very good. There were a few outdoor tables that used to drink our lattes and plan our day.

I have been here twice when I visited Zürich! It’s definitely one of cafes that I would miss for the good service and coffee!

One of the rare places in Zurich were every item on the menu is super tasty. It's tiny and cozy and once the sun is out on their terrace you don't wanna leave anymore.

Unfortunately, price-performance is not good. The taste of filter coffee was very good, but the quantity was an absolute joke for the price (even in Zurich).

They offer light roast coffee, I had Ethiopia double espresso as recommended ☕️ Very bright taste with light coffee fragrance. I enjoyed the espresso very much, super fresh beans and professional bartender. Music is quite loud, so won’t be a coffee shop for studying. The plants and design is simply, but feels at home. The shop is small, with only 4 outdoor tables and some space inside.

Very unfriendly staff. I ordered a flat white (take away) it came in a small cup and I politely asked the employee if I could have a little more milk. That was a maximum of one tablespoon more milk. The nice lady said that she would do that as an exception, but next time I would just have to order a latte macchiato.

Lovely cafe with good coffee and great brunch. I have lived by here for years and can't believe I never made it over. Perfect for a Saturday brunch...just try to get there early! It's a small place so fills up fast. Coming at 9:30 is probably fine.

A nice cafe. The saleswoman is very nice and friendly. The coffee itself wasn't particularly great for my taste. Too much sour. The pastries were fine. Other visitors also ordered something for lunch. Rather something simple like salads and toasts. There is free Wi-Fi, but not that many seats inside. Only three tables. But there is more space outside, which is very nice when the weather is good.

Looks super cute from the outside and inside with the decor but that’s about it. The staff was rude, even though the place was completely empty, they were just chatting within themselves and didn’t pay attention to me for a good 5-6 minutes which was quite awkward given it’s tiny inside. My latte tasted incredibly acidic and sour, could be due to the coffee or the oat milk brand being used. Worst of all the latte was barely lukewarm. Now I don’t expect a latte to be piping hot but this was 2 mins away from being cold. Definitely wouldn’t recommend especially given the high price point.

Best eggs Benedict in Zürich and it's not even close. Uncomplicated, gastronomic veggie brunch. I just wish they opened a restaurant for lunch and dinner too!

Best pour-over in Zurich! So good we even ordered another one to-go before leaving. Everything was absolutely delicious - banana bread, lemonade, seasonal brunch with eggs benedict. High quality service and cute atmosphere. It's the perfect place to stop by on a warm, breezy fall day.

So it is possible to get an amazing pour over coffee in Zürich after all! Coming back after 2 months we were lucky to find Coffee this time. And enjoy not one, but two great light roasts. Kudos to Stoll for the amazing job on selection and roasting. But also to the barista who was so kind and helpful. She also shared about the coffee festival starting tomorrow. Excited to hear the shop also offers brunch which we'll try this weekend. And they sell both Stoll coffees and everything one needs to explore and play at home with them- Hario patiently chilling on the shelves. Relaxed place with sitting outside. Must try if you care for coffee.

Our search for filter coffee (pour over) brought us to this cosy little place. This was hands down the best pour over we've had in Zurich. They had 2 kinds of light roast, we tried them both. The barista was very friendly and knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back.

Perhaps one of the smoothest cup of coffee you can have i Zurich. Great spot in the shade during hot late summer days. Friendly staff and awesome banana bread. Leo did actually taste and he liked it - but he said they should bring Puppucino to the menu

Small cozy place with extremely friendly staff. Ordered Columbian “Anserma” as a flat white with oat milk. My three words to describe the experience: Wait, Smile, Taste.

Filter coffee here is great, and that green marble bar is so beautiful. Always a good soundtrack and nice spot to sit (inside or out). One barista refuses to speak in English even though the menu is in English .?! But all good apart from that!

We found the coffee to be much too sour and tasted vegetabley. But it's a matter of taste in the London copy style. We rated the espresso as ok in terms of aroma and no-go on the palate. A hypster shop that behaves like one. Unfortunately the staff is rude and unprofessional in terms of politeness, attentiveness and service. Only colleagues are served politely. That's not possible in this price segment. The coffee shop around the corner makes everything much better. We wouldn't recommend it. The level would have to be higher. Price management and coffee taste is NOK. We don't recommend it. Hence 2 stars. The current reviews reflect our impression.

Coffee is great here! Peppermint tea made out of fresh leaves. The place is not super big. They have a great wifi connection, to work i suggest to bring your earphones.

It was actually very promising! The reviews were good, the staff was incredibly friendly (not always a given in Zurich) and the location was also a 10/10, both in terms of the location and the ambience. However, the coffee was an experience. One that I wouldn't want to repeat. The roast was either completely charred or something went wrong during preparation, but unfortunately my oat FlatWhite was anything but good. Maybe it was the oat milk? In any case, the taste was like chewing on an old silver spoon. Unfortunately it was felt until the finish. You might just have to order regular milk there but so far you're pretty put off. It will probably be a while before I come back. So 3 stars because you actually go to the café for the coffee.

The coffee quality is good, not going to say otherwise. Yet, we had a super awkward treatment from the two girls on staff. They were cero friendly in general. One of them took her dog to work and I went to pet him, she acted super upset about it. I apologized immediately but still there was a weird vibe towards me. What's funny is that immediately after I apologised another customer came and pet the dog and she said nothing to that person. In general, the service was cero personal and not polite. There are better coffee places in Zurich.

This is a proper little coffee shop, like you’d have in London or New York, and I’m very grateful it’s around! The focus is definitely on coffee / drinks. I had the normal hot chocolate before and an oat milk hot chocolate more recently, and both were very good! (I always have to add a whole little sachet of sugar, but it’s not bitter, and this way everyone can adjust the sweetness to their taste I suppose.) The hot chocolates have nice latte art too - a rarity in Zurich and I love it :) When eating in I also got a glass of water with my hot chocolate - always a great touch. Despite the focus being on hot drinks, there is also a small pastry/baked goods selection, although I haven’t tried any yet. It looks good though! Very friendly, competent service, and the small space (about 3 tables indoors and perhaps twice that outside) is done up in a cheery and modern style, with lots of plants and a gorgeous dark green marble counter. Definitely in my top two cafes in Zurich.

The waitress brought the wrong order a total of four times (2 cappuccinos and 1 cake), even though the café was practically empty. Not recommended!

My most favorite place in Zurich! If you want to try specialty coffee... well coffee is obviously the place to go. Their Beans are from Stoll, changing every once in a while so you never get bored. The people behind the Bar know what they are doing and what's more important they do love it. Always friendly and up for a chat, whether it's about coffee or life. And if you think it cannot get any better: oh it can! On Saturdays they offer an extraordinary Brunch including Eggs Benedict and an ever changing salad. I could go on for hours, but i think i made my point... Thank you lovely coffee-team :)

Went there twice after this place was recommended by a friend. Staff didn’t really pay attention to me the first time around. Second time, we walked out straight away again after staff was super unfriendly. They didn’t even care that we’d leave. Would expect a bit more for such a pricey coffee.

I went to COFFEE almost 3 years ago now. It remains one of the best shops I’ve been in. Friendly staff, amazing food, and the coffee in COFFEE is some of the best I’ve ever had.
