In Baden, Aargau, with its old town, ruins and shopping street, there is a friendly rest near the train station with a high ambience. + Cafe Colombo. A place for every generation. The food was very good. Friendly and clear service. I'd be happy to come back.

We've waited 45 minutes for scrambled eggs and still haven't received anything, the service is a disaster. We now have to move on... no assessment of the food possible

But I'm pretty sure I won't eat there again.

Then left the restaurant. Maybe I'll give it another chance.... Everyone deserves a second chance!!

I was there with my friend on November 6th, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. We got a table and ordered a drink and thought about what we wanted to eat. We probably waited half an hour until a waiter came to ask what we wanted. We asked if we could go down to the basement to eat as the tables were at waist height and it was better to eat something. When we ordered we had to wait another 20 minutes for our starter and my friend got a burata in a plate with about 5 small slices of avocado and I don't think we paid 16.50 for that. We didn't get any bread with it either. For the main course we had to wait more than 20 minutes until it was brought to us. My chicken in the pokebowl was oversalted. When we asked for the bill we had to wait another 15 minutes. Unfortunately very overpriced and long waiting times.

Wir waren wieder mal im Colombo, an einem Sonntag Nachmittag gegen 15h. Wir haben draussen Platz genommen. Nach 15 Minuten kam die Bedienung raus und hat uns beim ersten Mal nicht gesehen/beachtet. Kann ja vorkommen. Das Lokal war halb voll. Als die Bedienung nach 10 Minuten wieder raus kam, verlangte ich die Speisekarte. Nach wenigen Minuten kam sie wieder aber leider ohne Speisekarte (vergessen). Sie musste wieder rein, um sie zu holen, wieder vergingen 5 Minuten. Zwischenzeitlich sassen wir schon 30 Min. in der Kälte. Beim 3. Anlauf brachte sie uns den QR-Code, wo wir mit dem Handy die Speisekarte anschauen konnten. Hätte sie beim ersten Mal sagen können, dass wir online schauen können. Die Bestellung war endlich aufgegeben, das Essen kam ziemlich schnell. Der Brunch war fein und die Lattes auch. Das Personal scheint nicht so aufgestellt und motiviert zu sein und man fühlt sich nicht willkommen.
