Confiserie Beeler AG in Murten

Honestly, the Nidlechueche used to be better, now it has a thick, relatively dry bottom and a very thin layer on top. It's no longer worth going to Murten specifically for this. Next time I'll go to the other 2 bakeries, it's a shame Zuger's Nidlechuche was the best

Very nice place. They make you pay in two stages: first for the pasta at the dessert counter, then for the rest of the food. Swiss prices, that is, very high and quality not comparable to ours.

The Nidel cake is expensive and very lean covered in Nidel. Dough soggy. There are better ones.

Excellent confectionery but the staff is not very friendly. I arrived with a stroller and was made to understand that there was no room. So don't go there if you have a baby in a stroller.

Rather an overpriced place. 10 francs for a cheese cake. No service on site. Food must be picked up and paid for in the shop, drinks have to be paid for again at the table. No water with coffee and salty cake. Thanks, I won't be coming back.

Emails are not answered. So you lose the desire to visit before the actual visit. A pity.

Cozy café in the old town of Murten under the arcades. Friendly service with a large selection of fine baked goods that you can choose from in the store.

Worst Nidelkuchen ever: A very thin layer on very thick and very dry cakes. The cakes reminded us of 2 day old Berliners. The 2 Nidelkuchen slices and the one whole Nidelkuchen for expensive money were not edible - bone-dry belly fillers that no one in our family wanted to eat... what a disappointment!! When we bought them, the cakes looked good from above - when we got home, we were disillusioned and very displeased when we cut the cakes open... The bigger disappointment, however, was that to date, 2 weeks later, I have not received any response to my friendly email with constructive, friendly criticism and a shy request for a refund (because they were not fresh, inedible, and because these cakes were never the same as those with which they were made the photos of Confiserie Beeler are advertised on the Internet). I have my doubts about the authenticity of the reviewers who rate the nidel cakes of this confectionery with 5 stars and support the rating with some super beautiful photos with a thick layer of nidel... If these reviews are actually real, then I wonder how it can be that a large number of reviewers share my (our) experience and opinion regarding bad nidel cakes (dry, thick cake, thin layer). Does this confectionery have different bakers with such different qualities? It also amazes me that the cakes are still made and sold like this despite so many bad reviews... Is it so much more expensive to pour a thicker layer on the cakes and keep the cakes thinner in the batter so that they... look like they are presented in the photos...??? Customer satisfaction doesn't seem to be relevant and potential isn't being exploited... but janu, it seems to be true for the confectionery...

Unfortunately, Beeler couldn't keep up with Zuger's standard.

Located in the old town of Murten, you can find delicious pastries and the coffee is very good. Even the café crèmes are strong and you can really taste the coffee, it's very good. Wide choice of pastries. Go inside, choose your pastry, then sit down at the table to order your coffee. The Saint-honoré caramel cake, with a very crispy puff pastry, is very delicious. Friendly and smiling staff. The little extra, open on Sunday.

A great tea room and always well served and very good bakery and pastry. Always well received and a super nice waitress :-) we go there often and always just as good every time :-) I recommend this Confiserie Züger in Morat :-)

The shop almost seems a bit sterile because it's so clean, but nevertheless, friendly staff, very fine Nidlechueche!

Zuger is now Beeler...we only recognized that when we looked at the napkins and got confirmation inside. But it was also nice and tasty. Somehow it was a bit confusing...even on the internet....

Friendly staff, dessert was good but unfortunately there wasn't enough of the Nidlekuchen. The croissant with the ham mousse filling was very good.

The Nidelkuchen is very delicious, coffee and tea were served quickly and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting.

The Confiserie Zuger is located in the middle of the old town of Murten and is an Eldorado for people who like sweets. Unfortunately the coffee is not available with plant-based milk, intestines “only” four 🌟. When the weather is good you can also sit outside in the alley (open air) or under the old town arch.

I have never been treated so badly in my life in a cafe. The boss was very unpleasant when I took the liberty of pointing out that the slice of cake served was not very cooked (and I was polite; it was simply inedible). Left immediately with absolutely no desire to set foot in this establishment again.

The boss is just unfriendly. We ordered sandwiches that were impossible to eat. The bread was like rubber. We politely criticized the quality and returned the rolls without consuming them. The boss came to our table without introducing himself and without greeting us. He told us with disrespectful arrogance that the rolls were great. Although we returned the rolls and paid for them, we were not refunded the money. NEVER AGAIN!!!

The Nidelkuchen was very good, I didn't like the rest. Coffee so-so...

I've been never so badly treated by a waitress. I ordered sparkling water with lemon. I got water opened at least the day before that I couldn't even drink, I had to ask twice for the lemon, never got it. The waitress was so rude. I do not recommend it at all.

cozy Zea Room in the heart of Murten

The Confiserie Zuger in the beautiful old town center of Murten has a large selection of different sweet specialties. E.g. the fine, wonderful Nidlechueche that we enjoyed in the cafe right next door in the arbor outside. Yum...yummy. The coffee was also wonderful. The service was great, friendly and fast. Thank you, I'll be back again. 🍀😊

Nothing good I took 1 homemade ice cream it was degulace it's expensive and the service is very long the waitress runs like crazy she cleans she makes a lot of noise there weren't many people and she runs in all directions she acts big cleaning in front of customers I don't understand anything to avoid.

Unfortunately the price/quality is not right in the tea room. Portions are small, prices are high. The service was nice, but the atmosphere inside isn't particularly inviting either. There are certainly better places.

In this confiserie I had a piece of the local cake called Nidlechueche, it is very good I can only recommand it! It is delicious.

Nicely located in the city center of Murten, good croissants etc. But the (tiny) Birchermüesli was definitely massively overpriced - the price-performance ratio was definitely not right!

A top confectionery, to recommend

The shop is beautiful and the products are well presented, appetizing with a good smell of pastry and confectionery upon entering. The tea room is a little less glamorous, it is warm and a little dark. No worries about the service.

Great in the little town of Aarberg where you can also enjoy fine patisserie outside.
