Our dinner at the charming Greek restaurant Agora in Morat was a real delight for the taste buds! As soon as we entered, we were seduced by the delicious Greek wine that the waiter warmly recommended to us. A nectar with fruity and spicy notes that went wonderfully well with the chicken and pork souvlakis. An explosion of Mediterranean flavors in these skewers generously garnished with tender meat grilled to perfection and fresh vegetables. A pure treat! The service was also impeccable, with attentive and smiling staff who made this evening all the more pleasant. An address that we can only warmly recommend to lovers of authentic Greek cuisine in a warm setting. Congratulations to the entire Agora team for this memorable culinary experience!

Today a friend and I asked for 2 salads but they were truly inedible and the price was inappropriate and exaggerated

Food nothing special, for 2 people the food didn't come as ordered! Instead of an honest apology, he said he was stressed and had to do something upstairs with virtually zero guests. In addition, we were told that the kitchen was still closed, even though we had asked this in advance. Once and never again!

Yesterday we had the Greek lamb and a cordon bleu. It was very good! The service was very friendly. We will come again so we can try Ravani. 🙂

Passing through the center of Morat. We decided to taste Greek cuisine at the Agora restaurant. We were served very quickly. It was really a very beautiful experience. Delicious tasty dishes. Friendly staff. Central position. Great atmosphere. Thank you Agorà. I will definitely go back there.

Truly exceptional place The quality of the dishes first of all is really high, and coming from an Italian like me it is not at all an obvious compliment. I ordered Roast-Beef and Beef Tartare and to be honest I haven't had such good Tartare in years! The service then, like a master! The waiters were really kind and very helpful... quick and precise in serving us. What can I say, if you are looking for a place in the center where you can eat really well, this is the right place. For me 5 well-deserved stars

Bad experience. Asked for a entrecote, medium cooked, and they served overcooked, not nice. The fried potatos had too much oil... It is an experience to not repeat. The only good thing is the location, really in the center.

Very good food and very friendly service

Excellent restaurant, impeccable cuisine, and the owner is friendly. Musical evenings are organized there (Greek during my visit) and sometimes chess tournaments. Concerning the dishes, great care is given to the presentation, and the quality is excellent. I recommend everyone to stop there and taste a specialty.

We came across the Agora restaurant by chance... And chance did things well...beautiful evening...with Greek theme...traditional music...typical singers. Very warm welcome...impeccable service...smiling and friendly servers. As for the food...simply extraordinary...we were finally able to eat a real Greek moussaka and the ravani (dessert) was simply delicious! I recommend!

The restaurant offers Greek dishes and Swiss dishes. I myself ate an excellent fillet of zander meunière. The boss explained to me that he also organizes Greek evenings with live music. I will come back for the occasion. The restaurant is located in the middle of the main street of the medieval old town, where it is a great pleasure to walk around. The welcome from the couple who runs the restaurant is warm. The boss is, like me, passionate about chess and we played after the meal. Overall I had an excellent evening.

@VC @ CR before visiting Switzerland you need to see the average consumer price if you don't have the means to visit Switzerland, you should not eat in a restaurant you will have bought the food in the department store (aldi, lidl, denner) and you will have eaten and drunk on the road. You should not criticize a restaurateur in Switzerland if you are not happy you will have paid directly to the waiter. You just want to criticize restaurant in Switzerland and you are not that real name and if you really want to put a comment you will have to put your real name you are really dishonest.

They charged us 8€ for 2 glasses of tap water. Avoid the place. In response to the owner: First of all we asked for TAP water, and you brought 2 glasses, we didn’t saw any bottle there. And if you served us Heniez water as you say, was without inform your customers (who asked for tap water, as I had said). Second, I compare the prices and the service with Switzerland, and that was the first time that something like that happen to us. I am fully aware that Switzerland is more expensive than other places in Europe. Third, I hardly recomend you to try to take advantage of criticism and suggestions, and not to try to invalidate the opinions of real customers. I don’t think that other reviews are any better than ours. Fourth, I have nothing to hide with my name, but I don’t think that the ID I use always in google makes any difference with my opinion. Finally, I think writing 5-star reviews for yourself, criticizing the opinion of two real customers, that is cheating other people. Also, I find very bad taste to judge whether or not my purchasing power is enough to travel to Switzerland. We came across the Agora restaurant by chance. We were welcomed very friendly. The food was very good and filling. At the end there was a Liomncello offered by the house. If we are in Murten again, I know where we will eat.

Unwelcoming staff, the waiter passed our table 5 times without even saying hello, as a result, we were not even served!!!! while there were only 3 tables on the terrace. Ridiculous and useless establishment.

Came by on a bike tour. You absolutely have to improve fundamental things. Citro and Cola (not Coke?) poorly chilled - ordered ice cream and lemon not included... it would take a little to improve a lot. Guests at the next table had a gin and tonic…..done so carelessly…..a shame…. And then 15.- Stutz….🫤

We are from Basel on a trip to Murten...we came across the AGORA restaurant by chance...We were warmly welcomed and looked after and had a very good meal here. We'll definitely be back😊 .

Incredibly bad service! Very disorganized. Loveless. Dishes were not as sent as the menu said. Stroganoff without pasta, burger without fries. After pointing this out three times, we still received the inserts.

Once and never again!!! Loveless and all just convenience food (from Prodega) the worst fish snacks of all time and these at a restaurant on a lake. A Greek salad is drowning in one of those unspeakable ready-made sauces. The endless waiting times were the crowning glory of this dinner to forget. Something like this should be or should be forbidden.

Absolutely unfriendly service. When asked what kind of beer they have, they just take a quick look at the menu that wasn't on the table. When asked if she had a certain beer, she simply ran away.

Pleasant and welcoming service. Waiting time not too much, just what is needed. Salmon tartare excellent as a starter but a little expensive. Beef entrecôte as a quality meat dish but the fries as well as the frozen first price vegetables are a shame. Overall good but much room for improvement given the price

We were served in a friendly manner.... unfortunately for an overpriced price they only served convenience food... i.e. the Cordon Bleu from the freezer for frying, even though there was a regional butcher shop next to it... crispy fish from Prodega... the restaurant would be nice and cozy but the food doesn't correspond to the true value of the rest...

Portions far too small, spring rolls probably baked from the freezer, service does not respond to repeated comments/regarding payment. As a result, very long waiting times. The first and the last time.
