Confiserie Eichenberger in Bern

We enjoyed breakfast in one branch and a snack there. The selection of patisserie is huge and what we ate was excellent! The Confiserie Eichenberger branches are now really highly recommended!!!

unfriendly staff. When I asked if the soup was fresh I was told yes. The goulash soup was from a can, I know exactly that taste. Toxic atmosphere. Sandwiches are not fresh and are extremely expensive.

An egg sandwich, a salami sandwich and a cheesecake were ordered I got a tuna sandwich, a cheese sandwich and a huge mess

Occasionally when I'm out and about in Bern, like last week, I like to take a detour to Confiserie Eichenberger on Kramgasse. The almost felt time out in the beautiful old town of Bern, peppered with the fine quality of the baked goods and the extremely friendly and helpful service, is always a highlight for me! I can highly recommend a visit to Confiserie Eichenberger to everyone.

In the old town you simply have to enjoy something delicious in this confectionery! In a beautiful location in the old town with a wide range that is always fresh and very delicious. The pleasant atmosphere and the warm manner of the staff ensure that your visit is always to your complete satisfaction.

We regularly enjoy the great delicacies and the courteous service here. The team is always very organized, friendly and helpful. We recommend!

Service was absolutely horrible. First they charged tap water for 1.5 CHF??? There was a plug in some of the tables and we assume it was for guests to use. The waiter then completely shouted at us telling us "this is a restaurant, not a station".... i mean some cafes and restaurants offers plugs for guests to use, and even if it's not for guest use, they could've just told us nicely... Bought their almond cake and it was too sweet. The whole experience ruined our day in Bern.

Chocolate Mousse was very good. But, I have to say charging tapped water, in a city that has public fountains with drinking water is not a god thing.

Ordered a Capucino with whipped cream here today in the cold rain. I got this quickly... but what do I have to see? Whipped cream from the spray can! Sorry but that's not possible and especially not for this price! At home it may be possible to use whipped cream from a spray can, but in a shop like this I expect real, delicious whipped cream!

It's a shame the staff don't take their time, they're always stressed and not many people even run. And I ordered coffee with 2 RAM and still got 1 RAM. I pay for it, nothing is free

Amina Ali's report about Eichenberger's saleswoman is simply exaggerated. I was also there by chance Ms. Amina Ali and her colleague misbehaved with the sales staff. The question here is who is racist. Dear Eichenberger saleswomen, keep it up, you're doing a great job.

I come here every time I visit Bern for an almond croissant and capoccino. Never noticed anything negative. Unfortunately today we were addressed in a loud voice by an old lady with short dyed black hair and french fries in front of all the guests (the house was full): So now what do you want, a capoccino and what? And what? The only thing missing was that it was still on the skin. I didn't want to consume anything anymore, but I was immediately called racist. All customers noticed what was clearly audible. An employee rushed over and kindly calmed the situation down and kindly accompanied us to the table. The boss apparently said there were a lot of tourists. Which should explain the whole thing that your behavior with us was approved. Ehm... we ordered in sweaty German, sorry. What more can you say than an even greater racist attitude! Better to hire someone from staff for this position and let the stressed old one rest.

They only had powder cocoa but this cookie was good

It is great bakery to have hot drink such as coffee with milk or cappuccino. Also, the bakes are amazing and taste delicious. The waiters were really helpful. You have free WiFi and they have us to try a specialty cake! Super recommended!!

Great place for a bite if you don’t need a plate full of fries and meat. The friendly staff sells various sandwiches (also to go) and drinks, like their own homemade ice tea (an ice cold fruity tea with mint leafs and orange).

Excellent product quality, tasty cookies and pastries, but the prices were quite high. What made a bad impression on me was the behavior of the staff, which was unacceptable. The employee in question was not polite, nor welcoming, but on the contrary she was strict and rude.

Super friendly and very welcoming staff, they made the effort to speak to us in French. The pastries are super beautiful and above all very good, perfect for lovers. The place itself is super pretty, cozy and you feel good there.

VERY unfriendly service by the young service staff behind the counter on 2 separate occasions. We are locals and have stopped shopping there as a consequence. There are better alternatives in the street.

Really bad. Make vaccination propaganda for adults and children! Definitely avoid it and find a better and more democratic confectionery. Easter bunnies are being given syringes which is unbelievable. A big NO GO!

Very nice confectionery in Bern's old town with a coffee bar. Fine sweets and baked goods and more. Coffee is very delicious. Price/performance is right. Nice and attentive staff. You feel welcome here as a guest. Easily accessible by public transport. Highly recommended.

Cappucino a puddle, machine needs to be adjusted, Prussiens are very al dente, but the vanilla curls are great.

Excellent pastries, pleasant modern setting under the arcades of the old town. A little useful clarification for people with reduced mobility: if you have to go to the WC in the basement, there is an elevator (not very visible) because the staircase is steep and narrow.

We came with 6 adults and 3 small children. Had asked beforehand if that was okay. When we were seated, the waitress came and asked for our order before we sat down. Since we hadn't looked at the map yet, we needed a moment, which she commented on, visibly annoyed. Afterwards we sometimes received the wrong order, which didn't bother us and we accepted it anyway. While we were eating and drinking we were immediately charged. We didn't get a glass of water with our coffee like all the other guests. Unfortunately, the service was very unfriendly, which spoiled the stay in what was actually such a lovely little café.

Absolute top confectionery with Eichenberger quality. Staff is friendly and helpful. However, I still think the fact that a coffee has to cost Fr. 4.80 is a bit exaggerated. On Kramgasse you can also get coffee for just Fr. 4.20.

Small but nice. It's often overlooked when you're shopping. As in the other branches, the offer is excellent. Today on Sunday we also had very friendly, quick-witted and competent service. So we felt comfortable and would be happy to go back when we are in Bern again.

Simply the best in all of Bern, we have been ordering our cakes from Eichenberger for years, respond perfectly to requests, are very, very friendly and are happy with the great results. You can clearly see that 100% is given to customer satisfaction! Always my pleasure.
