Very nice service and good coffee

The furnishings of the tea room are charmingly old-fashioned. The coffee has always been the best of all the tea rooms in the city. The service was always very friendly. Not for people with claustrophobia as it is very narrow.

We bought a cherry cake today, November 21st, and were served very rudely by an older lady and she gave us a different price. When I pointed this out to her, she quickly took away the price tag and wanted to make us believe that it was the size of the cake is important. But through gritted teeth she had to realize that we were right.

It was expensive compared to the quality

Sandwich are bland and overpriced. E.g. the cheese sandwich: dry Weggli, a little butter and two slices of cheese. No lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes or anything like that. Very loveless for just under 5.-. Very unfortunate. Baked goods are otherwise great and a nice shop in a great location.

Is it too much to ask for an iced tea in hot temperatures??

Beautiful terrace! Good salad, although very monotonous. Totally overpriced card!!! 1 plate of pasta 29.-!!! Nice, fast service staff!

Best Sachertorte outside of Vienna 🤤🇨🇭🇦🇹, very friendly saleswomen, the fine fig bread is also recommended.

Vegetarian alternatives outdated! As a regular customer for years, I would like something more innovative from the team. I hope something new comes along

In addition to the terrace, you can also relax in the back of the store. Cappuccino is also good along with colorful and delicious cookies, cakes, and breads👍

Always nice staff and great product

One of the last old-style cafés in Bern. Clearly something people want, because it is always full. My favorites are Schinkenweggli or Birchermüesli, always with hot chocolate.

I always go here for a delicious, homemade hot chocolate. For me it's always a nice end to a stay in Bern.

A beautiful place with delicious chocolates and cakes. Beautifully decorated shop window and friendly and helpful staff. We had something to eat in the lunchroom behind the store. Time seems to have stood still here. Not really an inviting room, but special because of the atmosphere of the past.

The service was not that great. The chocolate mousse had a lot of alcohol, it should be pointed out.

A pastry shop with long skills. Inside unchanged as back then. A completely calmer atmosphere. Very tasty baked goods. Prices very high. Beer 5 francs cappuccino and more. There is no terrace.

I came to Bern, Switzerland on a self-guided trip to Switzerland. I originally wanted to visit the place where Einstein invented the theory of relativity when visiting the ancient city. However, I was rejected. Instead, I was attracted by the dazzling variety of desserts in the window of Confiserie Eichenberger, Bahnhofplatz Bern_Cafe! We bought various flavors of macarons, chocolates, and candied orange slices wrapped in chocolate. We wanted to go back to the hotel and use the capsule coffee machine to brew coffee and enjoy it slowly. Unexpectedly, the landlady recommended her own coffee very enthusiastically and confidently. It is also very good, so we are also happy to enjoy coffee and desserts in the atmosphere of the store; the candied orange slices wrapped in chocolate are very delicious, and the chocolate is quite rich, especially the candied orange slices are added to the chocolate, which adds to the flavor. And the taste, if you haven't finished eating, take it back to the restaurant to taste it slowly, hoping that the sweet taste will stay in your mouth forever!

...“typical” place...in the city of Berne......"the milk rolls are delicious!"...absolutely a must try!...

Today I had Kaffee in this lovely Tearoom. The promblem is that we got warm Kaffee. Asked if we could have hot kaffee....still got warm Kaffee. What a pity..

A café for the grannies of Bern in terms of atmosphere and decor, it's a little too bourgeois for my taste. Unfriendly service, plate of Alpe macaroni at Fr. 20.-, it's a bit expensive for a pasta dish that doesn't break anything...

Yes... the big breakfast took a lot of getting used to for northern Germans. 1 triangle of processed cheese per person, 4 small jars of jam and that was it. No fuss...no egg...nothing. But it's full of coffee, but it's very strong
