Coop Restaurant in Morges

We always come to eat at the Coop restaurant when we come to Morges. Always very happy with the food. Today 4 meals. Venison stew, cordon bleu, fish, and horse steak cooked exactly as desired. With accompaniments, everything was perfect. We are used to Coop restaurants in Switzerland and in general they are all very good. We really appreciate it.

The cooked fish, lentil and cherry tomato dish was very good. Friendly and friendly staff. a lot of choices.

I regularly come to eat at this restaurant (several times a week) and each time it is perfect. Very good food (both in terms of ingredients and the know-how of the cooks), wide variety of choice, good value for money, the staff is very friendly, and you can feel a good atmosphere within the team.

I eat between 2 and 3 times a week in all Coop restaurants in French-speaking Switzerland and central Switzerland. For me it is a very good compromise and I will certainly come again. But today's beef steak was very tough, tight and with a quantity of internal fat (not on the side, as it should be) that really made it almost inedible. I had to leave half of it on the plate (also because between the blood and the sauce, it was a bit difficult for me to continue) We agree that it is a very good price…., but it Needless to say, the weight is also proportionate, there are no waiters… so it's more or less like in a classic restaurant! I'm sorry, I don't like to criticize or make negative comments but meats like this cannot be used for à la minute cooking! In addition, if the cook asks me about cooking and I answer Point, I don't understand why I cut it and find it Blue! Fill the grill with oil (frying more than grilling), makes a nice crust but inside the meat remains raw) No problem, it can happen, but unfortunately it’s not the first time that’s happened in Morges… One last thing that I notice in all Coop restaurants: the services are often poor…. And you really need to look for the cleaner fork or knife! I hope whoever looked for the right fork before me had clean hands, because at the entrance the two bottles of disinfectant were empty! Sorry really, I respect your work a lot, but there are certainly things that need improvement. THANKS.

Good restaurant for quick meals. Dated and rather ordinary dishes. Seating arrangements good.

Self-service where you eat well and correctly for a nice price. Maybe avoid 12:15-12:30 p.m. when there may be a bit of a wait to order, but otherwise it goes well!

Eat good. Unfortunately a bit dark if you don't have a window seat. Unfortunately there are no sockets to charge cell phones or laptops. Staff very friendly.

Very large offer if you come at the right time. Staff very friendly. Parking space is good but a bit tight for SUVs.

I enjoy picking up my little meal at the coop's restaurant. The staff is very nice, smiling is a pleasure. The asparagus cream is a real treat. Me who doesn't like asparagus. HAHA everyone finally finds their little happiness at the coop's restaurant. Thank you team!!

I really like eating at the coop, in fact I go there several times a week, nothing to say about the quality of the dishes offered but today 11/4/2023 at noon I didn't really appreciate the comment from the gentleman who cashed me to tell me that my plate was too full for his taste because my vegetables hid the meat that I had. Being very active all morning it is true that my plates are well stocked but if that were to pose a problem, why put the vegetables in self-service and not serve us a portion that would suit you more, Mr. Cashier? I think that in the restaurant business we can do without this kind of comment which could offend a regular customer. 5/5 for the kitchen in any case. 0/5 for your comment sir at the checkout.

Good overall. But the soda machine never works on Saturdays. Three Saturdays without my fan 😢

A very nice coop center with several nice places to eat in addition to the Coop restaurant which is very nice and friendly and offers every day a simple menu for 10 francs, very good like Milanese picata or St Gall sausage. Otherwise there are several clothing stores, an Ochsner sports and even a hair salon. Friendly and bright shopping center where you want to spend time shopping. Large Coop supermarket (approximately equivalent to the Coop Caroline in Lausanne) very fully equipped with a nice choice of meats and cheeses by the cut. There you can find both standard coop products for everyday use as well as some slightly more luxurious products. Cheap underground parking on 5 floors with wide spaces and lots of lighting. The only weak point: the customer elevators are very slow and in an advanced state of wear with the cabin shaking a lot. The center would benefit from having more modern elevators.

Very warm welcome and service with special mention for the cook, very friendly and competent. Meals always successful and fair prices.

Worse and worse. Cold dishes, poor quality products, soft fries, fatty vegetables, more choice. Expensive, it's better to eat a daily special in a restaurant. Very manager, but very unfriendly. Responds poorly to customers, doesn't know how to say hello. Lots of people complain about him. Dirty tables, not always disinfected. Strongly not recommended.

The grill service is a little mediocre. For example: you ask for a veal sausage, the cooks heat it up for you, they give you a plate with the sausage on it and it's up to you to fill it with extras. They might still offer to do it for you, especially when there are people around and the cafeteria is inaccessible!

Very friendly staff, service nothing to complain about.. The only small downside is just the taps which are not often descaled even though the product is sold just below, but at least there are toilets downstairs and upstairs and several in one place... Whereas at the Migros in Morges, it's just disgusting, one and only toilet for women, children and disabled people and what's more, when it's busy among the men, they don't do not hesitate to come and use them and pretend they were urinals, so there are them everywhere.. I pity the staff who have to come and clean them every hour, because there is traffic since the others shops and cafeterias don't have toilets, I'll let you imagine the number of people who use this place... That's what new buildings are, the more recent it is, the more expensive it is and the less well done it is and less well thought out.. A shame when you see the prices in this corner of the country..

The cafeteria closes at 2:00 p.m. sharp, not very convenient. The waitresses continue their discussions while the customers wait to ask questions. The food is normal.
