The best risottos in Mendrisio. I'd say '80s hard rock risotto. Go there, visit the back and you will understand. One of the beautiful realities of the village. Andrea and Maria are kind, smiling and particularly attentive to the needs of children. Which is not easy in the pedestrian area of ​​Mendrisio with shops and businesses left and right forced to close. It is worth stopping at their tables, for an aperitif or a succulent dish, or when in doubt for an excellent risotto. Well done, keep going!

In my opinion, a visit to the restaurant is highly recommended. The waiter worked quickly, neatly and nicely. I think the selection is wide-ranging and so far most of what I've been presented with has tasted great. I think the restaurant is suitable for all events - regardless of whether it's with a partner, friends or family ;-).

As soon as you enter in the background you are greeted by music mostly of the blues genre. you immediately enter a bar room with a counter, an open kitchen, tables and a vertical top (with a sign on it "if you can play, let us dream!") and on all the walls, as decoration, lots of vinyl However, following the corridor, in the back part of the room you are surprised, there is a wonderful, slightly hidden room, very intimate, with stone walls, wooden beams, warm colours, it is very worth it! The specialty is the risottos, absolutely worth trying any of them, it's a sure shot. My favorite garlic oil and bottarga with a piece of zincarlin (typical cheese) or carbonara... or strawberries! The other dishes in the kitchen are also absolutely worth it, quality above all. Excellent for a romantic dinner, as well as going out with friends or business dinners/lunches Definitely worth trying, I recommend it.

A very nice restaurant specializing in risotto!!! The 70s rock style environment is warm and intriguing. The managers were friendly, thoughtful and warm! The prices, considering being in Switzerland, are quite reasonable.

Piccolo ristorantino la cui specialità sono i risotti. Locale con poca ventilazione il che in inverno è un po' problematico. Cucina comunque buona e personale cortese. Prezzi abbordabili.

Senza arroganza posso dire che è una vera perla nella zona, deve essere ancora scoperto da molti questo posto!!! Dai risotti ai primi ai secondi, tutto ottimo. Massima qualitá, Massimo gusto. Questo è il posto di chi vuole magná BENE.

Maria, perfetta padrona di casa, vi accoglierà sempre con un sorriso contagioso e Andrea, blues-chef, vi conquisterà con i suoi piatti ottimi e fantasiosi. Localino a gestione amorevole e famigliare. Saletta posteriore e, d'estate, possibilità di stare fuori sul corso. Andrea (lo chef) ha una passione per i risotti che propone a seconda della stagione con i funghi, le fragole eccetera. Va detto che si difende egregiamente anche con altri primi e secondi. Veramente insuperabili (da far invidia a locali di mare) gli spaghetti alle vongole. Piatto facile da fare ma anche facile da rovinare.Unica condizione per apprezzare il posto: Vi deve piacere il Blues. Andrea è un patito di questo genere.

A me molto! E qui ne potete assaggiare con le verdure, con la frutta, con i formaggi e molto altro e vi garantisco: sono ottimi!!

Se vi piace mangiar bene.. Situato del centro storico di Mendrisio, trovate questo posticino fantastico. Giá dall insegna si deduce che i due proprietari, (persone fantastiche: Maria ed Andrea) sono l anima del posto e si capisce con quale cura e passione si dedicano a ció che fanno, mettendoci tranquillamente " la faccia" :). Un bel blues bar con buona musica e soprattutto un ristorante con enorme cura dei piatti e del gusto! Si mangia veramente da dio! Dalla cucina escono piatti degni dei ristoranti stellati! La cosa che mi piace é la filosofia del "tutto fresco". E la velocitá. Sul mezzo giorno, ci sono diverse scelte a prezzi modici. Per studenti, pranzo d ufficio, ecc ecc. Sicuramente da fargli visita, provare per credere!
