Came here for lunch, the fries were delicious, the chicken drumsticks were big, the taste was pretty good, and the view was very beautiful! There are also souvenir shops and chocolate shops here, and they can also lead to the Ice Palace and the Observatory. You must come and walk around and take lots of photos! Highly recommend coming here!

Although the meal looks very simple But it tastes really delicious The dessert is not too sweet. I love it😊 Overall it tastes delicious

Amazing fondue with even better views . Our server Simone was attentive and knowledgeable. Make this a stop on the mountain for sure ! Oh and the Swiss hot chocolate with rum- chefs kiss!

we had a wonderful lunch here at the crystal restaurant and the staff were so welcoming and friendly! we didn’t make a reservation beforehand but were starving by the time we were done exploring jungfraujoch and the staff were so kind to give us some seats despite being fully booked :) they did not rush us with our meal and we're incredibly welcoming, we really enjoyed our time here. food wise, the cheese fondue was delicious! not just that we got the veal which was well seasoned and paired well with the cranberry sauce. we also got the crystal rosti which was very yummy and the flavours paired well together! for drinks, the apple punch was so comforting and had a nice sweetness and spicey taste to it. most of all, we had a spectacular view and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here 👍🏻 highly recommend!!

Great food given the limited options of dining places in Jungfraujoch. Definitely must try the ice whiskey! Just beware of the host’s jokes which came off as a bit too serious for me but all good once my husband played along with his jokes and cracked out some laughter.

Food was pretty acceptable and the service was curt and direct. But the staff warmed up after things got less busy.

Very nice ambience, and we were served by friendly staff Simone! :) The cheese fondue is great with a hint of wine taste, love it more with potatoes 🥔 if compared to bread 🍞 (just personal preference), overall food is very tasty and great service. We had lunch here after our Jungfraujoch tour. The service was excellent. Staff was courteous and welcoming. Good food options to pick specially food vegetarians. The location is amazing but we couldn’t enjoy as it was snowing and covered completely. But definitely recommend everyone to have this experience!

you can forget about getting a window seat if you ain't white, you may get a chance if you speak their language. we are being brought near a window seat but an european simply stood up and moved to the window without even requesting for a change, we're shocked when they allowed them to take the window seat and denied us one when the intention is for us. rude waitress when she gave priority to them and loudly brushed us away. we took a look around and noticed non-asians are seated by the windows whilst asians are generally assigned away from the "prime" area and this further affirms when a group of 4 asians walked in and was swiftly rejected by the same waitress when they requested for the empty seats by windows. food is forgettable.. eat at the self-serve cafe and protect yourself from being discriminated. disappointed that such primitive mindset actually happened in switzerland.

Tartare with a view. Of course, the Jungfraujoch is home to Europe's highest railway station. Nestled at an altitude of over 3,500 meters, it's awe-inspiring. Of course, there are the alpine pastures, the cows, the cogwheel trains and the enchantment. But the real magic happens at Crystal. Their tartar is simply perfect. There's nothing conventional about it, and purists may cry foul. But open your mind and ask for it. You won't be disappointed. It's not made with exotic ingredients, quite the opposite, but its smoky flavor, thanks to a hint of whisky, is excellent. Of course, the restaurant also offers a selection of dishes suitable for other diets. Bonus: the fondue is also very, very good. Bonus 2: The view is spectacular and worth the wait for a window seat. Bonus 3: Say a word or two in Swiss German and you will receive a smile.

We visited the Cristal Restaurant and had an unforgettable culinary experience. The standout dish was undoubtedly the fondue, which was impeccable. The pairing with potatoes, especially with Amina’s (our exceptionally kind and helpful waitress) suggestion to add salt and pepper to them along with the cheese, took the flavors to new heights. Amina recommended a white wine to complement our fondue, but we opted for a red wine, which turned out to be a delightful choice. To conclude our meal, we indulged in a dessert, which I’ll get the name of shortly, but it was another recommendation from Amina and was absolutely sensational. I highly recommend the Cristal Restaurant to anyone in search of an authentic and delicious dining experience. We are eager to return! Once you provide the dessert name, I can incorporate it into the review to give a complete picture of your experience.

The chicken legs are tender and the sauce is delicious

Firstly, considering it’s Switzerland, and the restaurant being 3500m high, the prices are marvellous. The service is prompt and extremely friendly. Other half had the pork, which they said was amazing, zero faults. 5/5 meal. I, on the other hand, had the chicken. The chicken itself was lovely, tender and flavourful. However the pappardelle and tomato sauce it came with should be replaced in my opinion, or at least looked at to be improved. The pasta was unsalted and mainly stuck together, the tomato ‘sauce’ was roughly chopped tomatoes and some other vegetables mixed with a bit of passata, no flavour and poor mouthfeel. Feels more like a chunky tomato salsa than a pasta sauce. The dessert was also very satisfying. We had the Lindt trio, and the chocolate was indeed heavenly. 5/5. Restaurant still gets a 5/5 overall, due to its location, cleanliness, and service. One bad dish shouldn’t downgrade the place.

This is a come and go spot for tourist, but this is quite logical as it's the only restaurant at 3,5km height. The view outside is surreal. Tip: It can be busy, as most of the time there is a queue at the entrance. So go here a bit early. Service is friendly and helpful, joking a lot with the guests. The food tastes good, and no complains here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The best restaurant in Jungfrau. The view outside the window is unparalleled. Unfortunately, there seems to be some construction outside the window that blocks the view. Gluten-free is available, the fruits are fresh and delicious, and the chicken legs are ordinary

The fondue for 28ch is enough for 2 people to share, and they will let you share it. But BEWARE: they charge 7ch (almost $10 USD) for TAP water. I specifically asked for tap water to not be charged the bottle price listed on the menu and they still charged us. I wasn't even that thirsty. Had I known, I would have waited to drink from my water bottle after we were done. The views are obviously stunning.

Don't go there. eat in the cafeteria or self service restaurant in the facility instead. this sit down restaurant has very bad service. You will wait forever for your food. The waiter was extremely rude. When we called him after waiting for a long time for our food, he started yelling and screaming at us, saying that everyone needs him, he is only one person. The restaurant may need to hire more people to work there, but at least the waiter can be a little courteous and not release his anger and frustration on the customers.

Food was very delicious, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was clean and well organized. Restrooms were clean and stocked.

Andreas Simon is the head of service. What impressed me most was the fact that he completed the table assignment. And everyone who had often gotten lost while I was dining was brought back on the right path in a more friendly manner than I had seen in a long time. With a lot of charm and understanding when it was older people. He recommended using the elevator. Had a quick saying for the Austrians. Absolutely a nice experience to see someone who knows how to be likeable.

The portion size for fondue is quite large! I recommend ordering for one person less. The restaurant seems quite cramped- we were quite close to other people. Aside from that, everything was great.

Delicious dishes on top of Europe. Price is decent compared to standard of Swiss travel towns. The staffs were busy but the service was fast. The view outside depends on weather but definitely worth a visit.

We liked it a lot here. Very nice/warm welcome and great recommendations what to order. Prices totally normal and food quality very good. We Fondue as a starter for for 4 and was a nice sharing experience. Last but not least: good variety of vegetarian options

That’s the worst tourist place with the bad food and bad service and bad prices. You go never to this place when you came from europe.

View is 5 star, food is 2. The only dish that was decent was lobster soup(3). Hummus is terrible (2), roasted chicken is 2, and fondue was terrible (1).

There are very little food options here, this is one of the two which allows walk in. A great variety of choices, prices are typical swiss priced. Definitely lunch with a great view. Queues are long (since there isn't much options), move fairly slowly.

Fried chicken legs with Western sauce & French fries 4.Swiss Cake The texture of the bread is very European, simple but chewy; The vegetable soup is rich and smooth; The chicken legs are fried to a crispy texture and retain the juice flavor; The French fries taste similar to McDonald's in Taiwan, and I can't help but take one bite after another. Although the meals are simple Western style, the taste and texture are also above the standard. It’s so happy to have a delicious dessert cake after dinner! Dining at Jungfraujoch at an altitude of 3454m, the dining atmosphere is perfect. It’s a (pleasant + happy) dining experience to the Nth power~

Maybe because there were so many customers, the food must have been made in a hurry, and I was eating half of it deliciously. Biting into it, I found a large lump of salt, so salty I couldn't continue eating it. Had to eat dessert instead.

After writing two emails, I was unable to make a reservation. I was told to go directly to the restaurant to ask. When I arrived at the restaurant, I went directly to the service staff and arranged 5 seats. Thank you! Superb dining experience in the Alps. The fondue is very nice and much better than some acclaimed fondue restaurants in other Switzerland cities. Other food like the pasta and rosti are also nice. Very friendly service staff, especially Kalid.

I was completely satisfied. Price performance for this location is completely okay. The view was now white because the weather was very bad, but the restaurant couldn't do anything about that.

The waiters here are pretty good at appearance and can be called friendly. - We ordered 1.Glacial water 0.5L CHF 3.5 2. Liquor CHF5.5 3. Pork ribs + mashed potato schweinbrust CHF34.5 4. Salmon steak + fried rice Lachsfilet CHF39.5 - 🥂Drinks: Not bad, 0.5 liters of boiled water, can be shared by two people, white wine is not annoying🤣 🍖Pork Ribs: Recommended! The pork is tender and can be easily pulled off the bone. The mashed potatoes are great with the sauce. The accompanying vegetables and purple onions? also very good 🐠Salmon steak: You can choose Medium/well done. We chose the well-done one recommended by the waiter, it was delicious! The fried rice is a bit like Chinese stir-fry sauce. The rice center is a little opaque but not hard. It’s not bad. It’s a little salty, but I don’t regret ordering it. - All in all, if you want to have a proper meal, I highly recommend this place! I think the food is quite good here. I would recommend it!

We were there with a small child and received great service. The waiters do a good job. The food was also tasty and a good portion.

We got an excellent seat right next to the window and got served immediately. Great service and friendly staff. The food was great too. Had Fondue for 1, and it was more than enough. My partner had the Rösti with bacon and egg which she said was too much. So I recommend getting a smaller portion, which they provide as well .

The position of the restaurant is great and if you‘re lucky enough to get a place by the windows you‘ll have an amazing view. The staff was okay, they were a little stressed but still nice and they tried their best with speaking different languages. The food was okay but if you compare it to the price it‘s not good enough. It‘s very expensive, I live in Switzerland but for the food you get here it‘s too pricey.

It's a restaurant at the top of the mountain- went in with no expectations but the food is really surprisingly good and service is friendly from Patrycya and Roland. Toilets are clean and accessible.

Nice food, very friendly staff and usually the view is amazing, but we were unlucky with the weather, so we could only see clouds up there 😅

Offers small portion Swiss cheese pot options at a reasonable price. There was a male waiter who had a nice smile, was friendly and humorous. And the window seats have a pleasant view. It's great to have such a restaurant option on the top of the mountain.

For such a location, the prices are reasonable, comparable to Swiss cities. You can choose to have cheese fondue with or without alcohol, so it's easy for people who don't like the taste of alcohol to eat it, and most restaurants only allow two or more people to order it, but here you can order it alone, so everyone can order what they like. I think it's good that you can.

We were greeted in a very friendly manner and were served very well the entire time. We had a delicious lunch and simply had a great experience with the panorama The prices are mega for Switzerland - respect!!! And I love maps that are clear - nothing is worse than not being able to decide because there is such a huge selection.

Good restaurants with stunning snow Mountain view.

Buffet is 40 CHF per person and looks to be the same food you can get for 20 CHF cheaper at the self serve. Food leaves a bit to be desired. Chicken curry lacked flavor. Rest looked a bit bland too. Definitely come on a good clear day to make it worth the trip.

August 1, 2022: They advertise as an À la carte restaurant, but in reality it is a restaurant with a self-service buffet. It's better to eat in a self-service restaurant, where you can get the same offer at a reasonable price. Meal selection (Swiss specialties): Dried out bratwursts cut into 3 to 4 pieces, cream slices with ready-made sauce, the soggy Rösti dried out on top with a bath of fat at the bottom, the vegetables overcooked, the salad out of the bag. The dessert, the mini pastries, carrot cake and cream slices are completely dried out. You will receive a spritzer in a 0.5lt PET bottle, you have to pour it yourself. The beer is poured at the table and the glass contains 1/4 beer and 3/4 foam. The employees fool around like children and make fun of the guests. It was a bad experience, which the restaurant owners won't care about because most guests probably only come by once. An expensive price for the food that in no way matches the quality.

There was a buffet, 1 liter of water cost 9.5 francs, and there were few menus. This is nonsense. (There is no price for water in the menu shown in advance.)

17.06.2020. terrible terrible experience. the waiters behaved like i own her or him a lot of money, from the beginning while we waiting front of the service table till ordering food, finally we decide to leave without any food. we wont pay this kind of Restaurant to keep them alive. prefer get some breads at least we got better mood!!! this location with this beautiful view and with such terrible service. please! the owner, train them well....we as guests travel to Jungfrau because we wanna have some vacation with good mood. We deserve normal service and normal food and we will be very happy and greatful. thanks!

We visited this restaurant for lunch and it was good. The menu had plenty of variety and was priced reasonably given this was very much in demand from everyone visiting Jungfraujoch around lunchtime. I liked the coffee which gave a Jungfraujoch glass to take home. The staff were very good and fun to be around and at the same time they were great at what they do. A visitor collapsed on the table while having lunch down to suspected altitude sickness and the staff and medical officers were there in an instant. Brilliant work!

Food passable but unacceptable charging 9.50 fr for a bottle of tap water

We wanted to go to the self service restaurant but it was closed so we went in to restaurant crystal for our lunch break. Service was good, food too. We order few mains to share, price was ok at Swiss standard. Took awhile for the cooking. Inside the Restaurant was a little warm aside to that everything is ok.

Absolutely amazing experience. The atmoshpere, literally and figuratively was breathtaking. The food was great. The schnitzel and jungfrauwurst were spot on! Something I'd find myself eating regularly. The fries.... eh, not the best. One could tell by the taste that those were frozen generic fries, easily missable. But the dish that baffled me was the goulash. At its origins, the goulash is a Hungarian dish and the nation makes it like no other. But what I served there, on Jungfraujoch, that was REALLY tasty, full of flavor and consistent. A must for any visitor!

Lovely welcome and incredible view of the Jungfrau. It’s a shame that the quality of the dishes and the service don’t keep up. We had to ask 5 times and wait 15 minutes to get a simple bottle of water…

Good service. Amazing view outside of the windows. Nice warm break from the cold.

Since we are here, we said to ourselves we have to go and test it. To get in it was a bit rubbish as you had to wait approx. 10 minutes. With COVID everything changes. We understood that it was full (Sunday around 2:30 p.m.) that we had to wait for tables to become available. But once inside everything was fine. Good welcome. Good meal. Be careful with alcohol, I have the impression that the small amount I drank "went to my head" relatively quickly. I don't know if it's due to the altitude (3500 m) or the fact that I had an empty stomach! As for the service, I was initially a little mixed. Then there was a very nice gentleman (I think his first name is Cyril), he is easy to recognize, he is smiling and originally from Korea. To be done again, but perhaps during the week.

If you ever take a trip to Jungfrau Joch Top of Europe, then go to this restaurant too. The dishes are excellent and will surprise your palate.

The Zürigschnätzlets with Rösti and the Stroganoff were excellent for my birthday. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The Rösti were crispy. There is nothing to complain about, nice restaurant manager. Nice staff. Keep it up!
