We went there spontaneously, the cupcakes look like little pieces of art. Thinking about it, I realise they definitely are pieces of art! Anyways, they look fantastic and that's also how they taste. They are a bit sweet though, (which is to be expected of course, I mean they are cakes after all). When we wanted to leave the nice lady working there gave us 2 boxes with old cakes from yesterday, which was truly amazing. A great way to reduce foodwaste and to ensure that customers will come back again!

Sweet and cozy restaurant from the brand “Bonne Maman” in Zurich’s old town. Coffee is good and so are the desserts (in our case, for example, the cupcakes - highly recommended). In summer there is seating both inside and outside (perfect for watching Zurich wake up on the street in summer). The place is also clean and well maintained. Deduction here because the tables are not cleaned and cleared regularly and you have to wait until you have ordered something, the waitress brings it and only then are the previous guests' things cleared away.

You may have seen their jams and spreads in grocery stores like Coop and Migros. They carry not only cupcakes, but ice creams, brownies, cheesecakes, jams, spreads, etc. The shop is also a nice little cafe which serves coffee and tea. The owner/caretaker os the shop was really nice and helpful. Speaking english was okay. If coming by car parking can be tricky as this is in Zurich old town but there is an area adjacent which has some parking spots although they can always be full. Overall a great gourmet cupcake experience with fresh and unique ingredients. Highly recommended!
