We received a very warm welcome. Everyone was very friendly! The atmosphere was also very inviting and cozy. We also thought it was great that you could see directly into the kitchen and watch the employees making pizza. The food was simply delicious! The pizzas were huge! Great value for money! Portions very small. Panna cotta not edible.

Unfortunately not recommended. The portions were significantly too small even for two women and when we asked about it, we were turned away because it was their normal portion sizes. Panna Cotta is a disaster, as it is obviously a ready-made mixture, along with the cheap spray cans of whipped cream and the artificial berry jelly, brought straight from Prodega... What a shame!

A real top culinary highlight Armando guided us through the evening perfectly with a surprise tavolata with wine accompaniment. We were 4 gourmets and I recommend coming with great hunger and thirst To start with a fine Franciacorta sparkling wine, followed by guacamole with focaccia and a fine Chardonnay from Veneto. Then an antipasti Gambero Rosso di Mazara on avocado, followed by tartare tagliata a mano on pear, plus a carpaccio di cervo with sautéed porcini on a bed of oranges. A Lugana from Lake Garda was also served, a wonderful combination. Afterwards we continued with gnocchi with chestnuts and pancceta as well as cappaletti filled with pears, with pear pieces in a Gorgonzola sauce, with a Cannonau di Sardegna. For the main course, a veal shank braised for 23 hours with fried potatoes and a red wine cuvée from Bolgheri. Finally, a sweet dream made up of 4 different desserts. Really high school Italian cuisine. You won't find any better in Italy. Bravo to the whole team, we'll definitely be back!!

Were in the restaurant for the first time. We had to wait a long time to be received… service was fine. Starter came quickly, main course took a while. After the meal we were driven to the Cigar Lounge so that other guests could eat, although there was still enough space… When we asked for the dessert menu, we were directed to the counter instead of seated service…

I ordered the pizza online an hour in advance (and received an email confirmation immediately). When I arrived on site, the pizzas were nowhere. "My order didn't go through because there was a problem with payment processing at the post office." However, they had found my order somewhere because I didn't have to tell them what I was ordering. After having to wait half an hour, I received the pizzas. I asked for compensation and was rebuffed: "Gifts have nothing to do with hospitality." - - - no apology, nothing. An extremely arrogant manner - probably a place where people forgot who brought the money... My guests who had to wait for me at home also confirmed that unfortunately the service at Da Rina was very unfriendly. Bad advertising.

We were at Da Rina last night. We were there a little early. We were still greeted warmly and were allowed to order something to drink. The menu is varied and has something for everyone. Service very friendly and attentive. Food was great. Pizza very very tasty. Family atmosphere We'll definitely come back.😊

Visited the restaurant Darina in Bern yesterday. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and shown to our table. When I made my reservation, since I am allergic, I asked to be given a place where there were as few wasps as possible. When we arrived at the table we were greeted very friendly and a small steaming basket was placed next to our table and in a few other places to keep away wasps. I didn't expect the staff to be very accommodating, thank you again! The food was very good, the entrecôte and the wine were delicious, the portions are good and the atmosphere in the garden is nice. Even though you are actually in the middle of the city, we were not disturbed by any noise. It was a great experience, I would go to Daria again at any time and that's why I give it 5 *. Thanks

My first time here. My local friend highly suggested for the pizza. He was right. That is one of the most delicious pizzerias I’ve ever been. However I made a mistake and took the octopus. It was below mediocre. Undercooked and overfrozen. Atmosphere is very authentic inside, but we were outside so many wasps and flies. And the noisy road nearby.

“Check-in” when entering the restaurant at lunchtime was perceived as unfriendly. The food (salad & pizza Margherita) was very tasty. The staff cleared the table before we even finished.

We went because it was recommended to us on several pages. The food is generally delicious at a normal price for Switzerland. For four 124 Euros without dessert. We ate a generous pizza, an average salad, the melon in the salad was bad. Spaghetti carbonara and gnocchi. I rate it poorly because although the waiters were correct and friendly, we were left with a feeling like when you are not well received in a place. They will know parquet. When we arrived at the door there was a woman and another younger boy who looked like the owners or managers and she looked at us with contempt and with a face of disgust that we couldn't help but hallucinate. And then when we left, the boy we had seen when entering was standing in the middle of the exit talking to another man and you saw him move aside to let us pass... well, we had to make a contortion to get out of there. Bad go.

Service was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately our pizzas were forgotten, so we had to wait a long time. But the food was fine! We sat at the top of the gallery where it was incredibly hot. A window or a lift source would have been great. All in all OK but nothing special.

We chose a table outside and it was right on the street. You can see so much, but it was too loud and too hectic for me. The pizza was good. Next time I would choose a different restaurant or even sit inside when the sun is shining. The service was very good.

I ordered ravioli and effectively received 8 pieces of ravioli with a little tomato puree on top. I just can't believe that cost 23.00, just ridiculous something like that. No child will be fed up there.

We were the first table to arrive and were the last to have a drink. Ordered medium steak, received rare. If you offer a steak for a sky-high price, it has to be good the first time. Mayonnaise was sour, potatoes were dry. Empty glasses, last time.

Service: unpleasant - I wasn't allowed to order the children's portion because I was only a little hungry. Service person didn't know about the products (pasta/spaghetti - whole grain etc.)... The only answer was: let's buy... Food: Food itself was very good. Ambience: very cozy, apart from the service.

Pizza is very good specially the birrata one. Beer collection is also quite good for an Italian restaurant. But that one guy in the reception.. Wow, he makes me and the whole group of my friends not want to go there.. In winter when we try to enter he keeps us waiting outside In the cold while he prepares the tables and some times could also loose the patience with the clients pretty easy.. So I've been avoiding going there cause of the bad service of this guy with glasses and longer bear. The others are super fine and very nice ppl...

They are really arrogant towards children. Me and my friends were there and they told us we had to wait outside in the cold and everyone else could wait inside. All the other people came later and were waiting to get out earlier.😕

The two of us went to Darina for pizza in the evening. The reception was very nice in an original restaurant with a somewhat Italian atmosphere. The service was very friendly, the rocket pizza was a bit dry but otherwise fine. The vanilla ice cream with the chocolate cake had a strange taste, they may have made a mistake in the type of ice cream, it definitely wasn't vanilla. Suitable for eating pizza with friends or children, but not for a romantic dinner.

The caprese salad (tomato mozzarella) was the best I've ever eaten. The tomatoes had a good meat content and the mozzarella was clearly high quality! We also each ordered a calzone, which was well baked and had a great filling. The price was great for the quality and service provided. One of the owners warmly welcomed us and also introduced us to the homemade aperitifs. The advice on the right wine was also very good.

Was a guest over lunch. Food was okay to good. Reception very unfriendly and extremely unprofessional. Overall, definitely not recommended. Personnel should be urgently trained or replaced.

There's no lie, the best pizza in Bern is here. Whether consumed on site or to take away, I always like to come here and treat myself to my pizza.

Far too long waiting times over lunch.

The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the egg in my Calzone Farcito was still completely raw, as was the protein, which is why I couldn't eat it. The panna cotta with the fruit mixture was gelled too tightly and didn't have a nice texture in the mouth. The taste was rather bland. The rest of the dishes were great. You can leave out the plate edge decoration. It gets in the way when you eat because half of it sticks to your hands or sweater.

Very friendly owner and waitress. I ate beef on a bed of rucola salad with parmesan. It was very good, I recommend. I deduct one point for the origin of the beef. Too bad to take Argentinian beef, you can find good meat in Switzerland.

The restaurant has a special interior design in a positive sense with a kind of gallery. The dishes are excellent and prepared with beautiful details. Unfortunately there were slightly longer waiting times for service even though the restaurant was not at capacity. Still highly recommended.

I went to a birthday dinner at DaRina's. Although I first said that this was a reservation for a birthday, the staff spontaneously decorated the table. They were very friendly and welcoming. The meal was a delight. Anytime again 👍🏽

Was here recently for the first time because it was recommended to me by Italians. Was thrilled! Everything tasted great. Eggplant casserole as a starter was delicious. Great tuna pizza. Had to have half packed up and Hatters lunch. Delicious even warmed up! I can only recommend! My new favorite pizza place!!

I was told by a local friend that this is the best pizza in town. Don't know about that but we liked it a lot and had a great dinner experience. The wine recommendation complemented pizza perfectly!

The pizza at da Rina is still good. But what doesn't work is the service. We had to wait forever for our pizza. Before that it took 20 minutes before we were even served. Apparently this restaurant doesn't feel the need to provide good service. It's a shame, because we always enjoyed coming.

This Italian restaurant is a well-known place on Eigerplatz. Through this pizzeria I learned my favorite pizza combination. The Preferita with spicy salami and mascarpone. Simple but unbeatable when it comes to taste. The pastas, which can also be taken away, are also great.
