Best restaurant in Wengen. The service is great and the food is amazing with a large menu. You need to book this restaurant though, else you wont get in. i recpmmend this restaurant.

We only wanted to order a pizza but only got our pizza after 2 hours. Then they wanted to offer us a dessert as compensation, which we refused.

The food and the ambience were good and the price-performance ratio was good. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the service. The staff was very inattentive and didn't clear away the empty glasses and bottles from the aperitif until the end. We had to wait over 30 minutes for the dessert menu. In addition, it is a shame that the service in a Swiss ski area cannot speak German.

Nice Italian restaurant in a beautiful village. Quite expensive, like the rest of Switzerland. Good service. Good range of food and drink options. Quite a step slope to get in, so not easy for wheelchair users, etc. but then it is stuck on the side of a mountain.

A Large Italian restaurant authentic pizzas. Service was great. We order the large size (11") pizza each which was relatively too big for us! The crust was authentic and the meat quality was OK. Esther our hostess was attentive and always with a smile.I would only make one small suggestion especially for Pizza varieties: add some more ingredients such as Italian sausage, olives, mushrooms, peppers, artichokes to your Pizzas. Although our pizzas were delicious but we thought the selection was not that broad. The place got packed after 6 O'clock with families as it was obviously a popular restaurant. I read some of the low rating reviews. This restaurant does not desreve those customers! The current 3.9 Google review is certainly not indicative of this restaurant's quality of food or service. It deserves much better.

The food is good, sometimes only lukewarm, but the service needs to be improved. Every time you visit, you get the wrong order. Last year, you got the wrong meal. After that, you almost have to eat alone because the others are already eating. A pity. Ambience very nice.

We ate at Da Sina Restaurant twice during our week-long vacation because we enjoyed it so much. The service was also fabulous. However, you should definitely make a reservation.

I really do not know why the 3.9 starts… it is for sure a solid >4.2 star restaurant! We had carbonara and pizza —kudos to the service and the bartender maling drinks! Great job indeed!

Da Sina's was incredible, the staff is friendly and definitely enhanced the atmosphere. Our first night we arrived in Wengen, we went there for pizza, which was extremely authentic and executed perfectly from scratch and with their pizza oven. We went back two nights later for the Gnocchi and Spaghetti Carbonara, which was better than what we recently had in Rome. The comped desert was nice touch as well.

We were here with 3 children and 4 adults. We were all very satisfied with the service, the food and the location. Atmosphere beautiful. We would certainly come back

I ordered 1 pizza (which was o.k.) but had to pay 5.Fr. extra for a second plate because the waiter "assumed" it's to share....Just assuming without asking and charging extra instead of asking is not very professional. I work in Swiss hospitality too and we usually inform customers instead adding surprise cost to the bill. Glad I didn't order tap water-would probably cause a moment of surprise too...? The wine was good tho!

Da Sina’s food is just amazing. The prices are pretty reasonable, and they have great outdoor seating. All of their pasta tops, and they also give you cheese with it. Service is usually very quick and good, but sometimes a little shy. Probably the best food in the Jungfrau area for a fast meal.

My favorite restaurant in Wengen! Lots of choice on the menu, and every dish I’ve had has been fresh and delicious. Tonight I had the salmon, and it was spectacular. In the summer, the patio is delightful, and in the winter the vibe is both cozy and lively. I really adore this place.

A legitimate Italian restaurant in Wengen. Pizza crust excellent. Pasta carbonara was the non Roman creme kind, but still excellent.

in the Wengen village is great for pasta, burgers, steak, Swiss fondue and their specialty seems to be pizza. We went twice while staying in Wengen. The first night we had the Swiss fondue with 2 veggies (broccoli and mushroom) along with potatoes, bread and a ton of tasty cheese. It was a great meal and very filling. It also comes with a starter salad! However, the second night we ordered the margarita pizza and it was OK at best. The waiter explained that the cook was from Italy and blends the basil into the paste, which is why it appeared to look (and taste) more like a cheese pizza. We did a post photo from 10 months earlier of what looked to be an amazing margarita pizza, but this is not what is currently being served. The other pizzas looked great!

We almost didn't visit since I typically go for higher reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised when we did! The pizza was absolutely delicious and service was good. It was a very affordable meal by Swiss standards, too. I would return.

A stylish restaurant in the small town of Vuengen! I had cheese fondue

Food was good we had a capriccosa pizza and fondue for 2. We sat outside and there was only “1” waiter for every table there. This poor guy was working too hard and unfortunately he forgot our water but took it off the bill. Food was very expensive however, the fondue for 2 was 60 francs!!! We would probably come back if we could find any other place to eat.

*food The fondue was delicious because it wasn't too salty or smelly for Korean tastes. It comes with bread, potatoes, broccoli, button mushrooms, and salad. The pizza was very salty. It was like salt pizza. The pasta was just ok. *Service and atmosphere The servers were all friendly. I liked the Christmas atmosphere inside the store. When the weather is nice, it might be nice to sit on the terrace and eat. The bathroom was also clean. After ordering your food, wait about 20 to 30 minutes and leave with plenty of time to spare.

Really good bolognese pasta. The staff was welcoming and the views were beautiful. Highly recommend!

Food wasn't that great but good enough!

Been to many well known restaurants in Zermatt, Grindelwald, Wengen and Lauterbrunnen, finally had a great meal at Da Sina. Definitely a gem.

By far the worst service experience we received in Switzerland. We had to wait 20 minutes to be seated, 20 minutes to order, and 30 minutes to get the bill. The servers were rude to us and nearby tables. The food was okay but overpriced for what you get.

Excellent spinach ravioli with bolognese.

Sorry to have to give this restaurant with an awesome patio and gorgeous view 2 stars for the food. It just wasn’t very good. We had a pizza and buttered spinach ravioli. The pasta was what you might expect to buy at a grocery store and the pizza we ordered was a bit better but not great. The server was friendly and food came promptly.

We took veg cheese Pizza, it was surprisingly tasty which had perfectly steamed broccoli and some veggies with a combination of cheese and unique tangy tomato sauce.

Ravioli is a must! They also have gluten free pasta

Inside or outside or out, this restaurant is cute and charming. We will come again. We ate on the patio this time, but will eat inside when it is cooler.

arrogant staff who were very tough! took about 25 minutes before we got menus and then another 30 minutes before she took our order! The food came fairly quickly. the price was crazy too! €45 for a worn out pizza....

Way too expensive. My friends' risotto is good, but I ordered a chicken hamburger and received a beef hamburger. The service is not good, long waiting times, they don't speak German well and are unfriendly

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner of soup and pasta at Da Sina in Wengen tonight. The meals were authentic Italian style, perfectly balanced flavours, value for money and we thoroughly enjoyed them. We would gladly return again for the wonderful meals served on the terrace surrounded by the magnificent views that Wengen is famous for. Thanks for a memorable evening.

I loved the meat. The burger was really out of this world. The good: delicious food, good location. The not-so-great: we were charged 5CHF because we asked to cut our pizza in half (the receipt literally had a charge for cutting one pizza for two people). Also unbelievable that the tap water costs 4CHF given there's water running from mountains everywhere.

A good restaurant to take your parents to. The fondue was decent and delicious compared to other parts of Switzerland. Because it is full of mushrooms, it tastes better when eaten together. It was good 🍄 I liked the pizza, salad and caprese! I recommend it to Koreans traveling to Wengen. A restaurant we visited on a family trip. The atmosphere is very cozy, the food is delicious and the staff are all friendly. A restaurant I want to visit again next time. 😉

Amazing food and service! Food was very fresh. Pizza had tons of fresh vegetables. Mushroom risotto was very tasty. Tiramisu was out of the world. We were visiting there from the US. We got there almost at closing time but they still treated us very nicely. They definitely deserve 5 stars!!

We were forced to eat here as it was the only restaurant open late in Wengen. For this reason it was extremely busy. The pastas and kids meals came out within 20mins but the pizza took atleast 40mins to be delivered to the table. The prices were totally ridiculous as two pastas, 1 pizza and a child's meal cost $200 Australian dollars. Total rip of but the usual for all of Switzerland.

We would like to thank Marco and the entire staff of Ristorante Da Sina For being incredibly hardworking and talented , the evening weather turned to rain and they somehow managed to accommodate everyone in to shelter that where seated outside .We were one of those guest . Our food was delicious and prepared correctly . While seated inside we were able to observe everything, the place is incredible. Our journey was long to get to Wengen , Switzerland Ristorante Da Sina made it worth it for our first meal .

👎👎👎 This happened last june 2023. I had the worst service experience by far after visiting switzerland from this retaurant. I am male, filipino and travelling solo in wengen. First, the male italian attendant seated me in the little end corner near washing station of the restaurant even if there are tables outside cause he said he cannot attend to me if i’m outside. Then why are other people seats outside and u still can attend to them? Second when i am ready to take my order, i politely asked him and he rudely with angry voice said “Cant u see i am bringing a lot of things to other tables? You wait! I will go to you when im ready.” Which apparently he did not, and (older lady/attendant) saw it and just take my order. I am not rude as a customer and i waited in line and i ate my food and pay for my bill. If you want to eat here in wengen, i hope they will serve you better. Because in my experience, i felt disrespected and belittled. It might be because i’m asian filipino or the server needs extra training. 🤦🏻‍♂️💆🏻‍♂️💁🏻‍♂️

The lunch meal was great! Conditions are very nice, the food is really very good!!! The only thing that bothers you is the flies! But nobody can do anything about that!!!! It's a cozy place! Sun if you want, shade if you want!!!! Grazie per l'ottimo cibo e tutto il meglio e solo il meglio per la stagione! Tanti bacci a tutti!

Got takeaway pizzas from here, looked very atmospheric/ cozy inside and the pizzas were great.

Food was just average. We ordered Margarita Pizza, which was just average to me, Pizza base was good but the sauce has no flavours, we have to add seasonings to eat it. Now the fun part, on receiving our food we have received an extra 5 CHF in our bill as we were sharing the pizza, I have traveled to many places in Switzerland but this was a very new thing when a restaurant has added a 5 CHF simply for sharing the food. I understand this is their policy and from where they are coming, but no mention of this by the server when we were ordering in fact when we asked the same to the guy who brought us the bill, he was also not aware so he had to go back and ask the owner. For me personally it's an unethical thing. If some one is going out here and plans to share the food my suggestion is to take it away and eat it outside.

I ordered risotto and spaghetti. Risotto 4 points, spaghetti 3 points. Considering the price, I give it 3 stars overall!

We were a little disappointed. We ordered a fondue, 30 CHF/person with bread, vegetables and potatoes. The slices were raw, it's a shame they weren't sautéed a little. The salad was included, but we weren't told what this was and so we ordered a salad ourselves, which we then had to eat because they didn't want to take it back. The amount of fondue for 3 people was a bit meager. The staff did the bare minimum and communication (they only spoke English) was rather difficult. All in all rather disappointing and we wouldn't go back.

Food was great. The burger was very well stocked and it was enough for one person. Unfortunately they brought me the wrong drink but that was ok too. Ambience was good, there could be more space.

We are here twice during our stay in Wengen. The first night the restaurant was chaotic and service was very slow but the food good. The second night we ate earlier and we got seated straight away and the pizzas were delicious.

Had hard crunchy undercooked risotto

We absolutely loved this restaurant, and the food was so good that we ate here twice! You can choose between sitting on the ambient patio outside, or the cozy restaurant inside, and the service was always very friendly and also very quick. The 'pasta ala mama' was my favorite on our whole trip, it is a penne pasta in a tomato cream sauce (light cream), and so delicious. The other pasta I got was also very good, as was the caprese salad, and cappuccinos. My husband really enjoyed the hamburger. Highly recommend!

The food was so good, the wife didn't have any complaints! 😆 I had the vulcano pizza, and it was perfect. Great food, great service, and sitting outside was amazing. There wasn't really any shade outside, so the sun was starting to do some cooking on my back, but it was manageable.

Rather disappointing pizza from this attractive looking restaurant. Very bland tasting with very undercooked topping and a soggy bottom. The staff were friendly but despite being empty we felt rushed to get finished. There are definitely better places to have food in Wengen.

We got lunch here. It was 12 so maybe a little early and it was not packed. Service was fast and the people where polite and friendly. The food was excellent, I really loved the spaghetti carbonara.

Good Italian food with reasonable prices for a high mountain tourist destination. Unfortunately, this restaurant is flawed by mediocre service. We visited this restaurant twice. The first time, the serving team seemed haggard and understaffed but service was passable and friendly. However, we noted the staff had no tolerance for guest requests: multiple people in ear shot of us requested table changes or menu substations and were universally denied. On our second visit, it was clear the staff forgot to put in our entree order - we waited over an hour for a vegetable pizza (with several gentle reminders from us) while tables seated long after our arrival received their orders all around us. The best we got in explanation was "sorry we are busy tonight." Outdoor seating is available, but in high demand. Take out pizza is on offer (probably the smartest option given the above mentioned issues with service). Generous desert options. Good kids menu (although with pizza on offer it's hard to go wrong for kids). There was excellent live music on the terrace during our weekend visit. Wine selection was good, beer was all bottled, minimal mixed drink offerings. The restaurant is attached to a bar of the same name. The bar has a simpler but similar menu. However, we learned that the bar is not open during the summer season. That was not immediately obvious from their website. Bottom line: I want Da Sina to be my go to family restaurant in Wengen, but it is marred by mediocre service and an inability to cater to its customers...

Very cute place - very nicely decorated. Food was also very good especially the pizza - simple yet tasty. Really happy that he had a meal here in our trip to lauterbrunn. Nice food makes your trip more fulfilling.

We had the pleasure of having a very unfriendly waiter who yelled at us when we tried to sit at a free table because no one was paying attention to us. We gave this restaurant a second chance that same evening. The same waiter then served us. The food wasn't good and the unfriendliness was noticeable again. We also had to wait a long time to be able to pay. We've never experienced anything like this before

First we were told on the phone that a table wouldn't be available until 8:30 p.m. at the earliest... on the second call it was suddenly 7:30 p.m. from another employee... When we arrived at the restaurant, we had to wait 30 minutes until someone showed up at our table (only after we actively approached the staff). For the main course, the first pizza was brought to the table 15 minutes before the rest... We only received the bill after actively approaching the staff... and by that I mean we ran to the kitchen because no one was near our table for 30 minutes! Unfortunately, our experience was anything but worth repeating…

Everything is right here. Great pizza, very friendly service, prices are okay and the Chianti tastes delicious. Children are welcome. The only restaurant we went to twice during our holiday week in Wengen.

There was nothing wrong with the food, except for the Nüsslersalat which contained too much sand. It was disappointing that when we made our reservation by phone we weren't told that we could only stay for 1 hour and 45 minutes because the table would be given away after that. Service was overwhelmed (drinks had to be ordered three times) and progress was slow. We were denied coffee and dessert, which again disappointed the children...

Great Italian in beautiful Wengen. Pizza and Spaghetti Vongole just as it should taste. Nice service and rustic ambience. Price/performance top for Swiss standards. Would love to come back.

The lady that works their dont know if she was the owner/manager or employee or what. But she was pretty RUDE and has the worse manners, we walked in to dine in and she expresses herself as if they are doing us a favor coming to the restaurant. Her acknowledgment was poor, no eye contact as she was speaking telling us they can’t take us now until 30mins, easily she could have said “Please allow us”, “we apologize we are busy” “theirs a small wait”…things of that nature. Disgusting people.

DELICIOUS! Food was fantastic, staff were extremely kind and always with a BIG SMILE, and restaurant setting was beautiful. True Italian style pizza (must try) and their pasta is off the charts! Highly recommend topping it off with the Apple Strudel with Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert. MUST TRY if you are in Wengen!

Ordered the mountain (beef) burger... I've had enough burgers in my life to know what beef tastes like, and this was not it. This tasted so much like a veggie burger that I actually double checked with the waiter if I had the right order, which is something I never do, but he confirmed it was beef It didn't taste bad, but I'm still doubtful that it was beef, so I guess what I'm saying is, don't get the (beef) burger here. Pizza was alright
