I really enjoyed my visit to this lovely restaurant in February 2024. Good food and friendly staff.

Make sure to reserve your place when having lunch here. There is huge frequency of people because its the better of the two restaurants on Kleine Scheidegg. They offer good range of dishes mainly italian cuisine. The pizza comes in rectangular shape and even tho it seems small its quite enough for one person. This is always my to-go place when i go to Kleine Scheidegg.

We had a lot of people and it was difficult to get a spot. The food was okay but not really warm. It's pretty overpriced for what you get.

The rudest and the most irritable person I have ever encountered during my trip happens to be the waitress in this restaurant.

Very friendly and courteous service. The baby food was heated and lovingly prepared without any problems. You felt welcome with children.

Food was good but the service was not so nice

We visited this restaurant on Saturday and it was very crowded. No queue system in place hence it was a bit chaotic when many guests tried to get their seats. Luckily we were guided by the service staff to get a seat. Food was ok, ice tea was nice and great service provided by the service staff.

What more can you ask when you are in an Alpine mountain top in snowy cold weather and served hot and lip smacking food in no less manner of service as is expected in a good restaurant. We tried the soup of the day, penne ala carbonara, Sicilian veg pizza, caramel custard for dessert. These along with a glass of local draft beer Rugenbrau to wash it all down. Simply a wonderful experience...highly recommended.

Actually almost everything was right, nice weather, great views, pleasant atmosphere and the food was almost super good. The rösti was a bit too crispy, but the sliced ​​meat was fine and the price/performance ratio was absolutely top for a place like this. So overall I was very satisfied.

Absolutely surprising, spending the night up here, super friendly service and top notch delicious dinner and breakfast. It’s a mountain restaurant/hotel, but they have made big leap forward since pre-corona.

Lovely setting with views of the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau. Pleasant service and some non-traditional items on the menu like Red Curry Soup. Prices not bad for a mountain location.

Great place to have a nice raclette and sausage in the middle of a day of skiing and of course a nice beer and gluhwein!

Our group of 27 people was served yesterday in a separate room where tourists had just left. This made it very pleasant for us (noise level). The food was delicious, we found soup in the bowl that you could scoop yourself and water on the tables was great! The service was super friendly, every wish was fulfilled immediately! Everyone enjoyed it, we'll be back! The only flaw: the corridor to the toilet is not marked, so some who didn't ask took a huge detour. The sign “Caution Level” was attached to the door but “WC” was missing. Many thanks to the service and kitchen - keep up the motivation!!! Liselotte

Very good experience! I am really happy I found this place. I was doing via Alpina and now I am writing this review having a perspective and comparison to other places I stayed in during my whole week trek. The staff is very professional and super friendly, especially Lukrecia! I booked a half board stay and the food they served was very special and tasty (I did not expect that on above 2000m)

This restaurant gave me cosy ski resort vibes the minute I walked it. Beautifully located with very friendly staff. We had a really tasty bowl of homemade tomato soup for lunch while waiting on our train up to Jungfraujoch. I really recommend popping in for food while you're up that far.

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 10-16) had a wonderful overnight stay. We arrived around 12:00 after hiking from Alpiglen and had lunch in the restaurant (reservation recommended -- it was crowded) and then were able to check in early to our rooms. They accommodated our dietary restrictions (vegetarian) with dinner and we had a very tasty breakfast included the next morning. The staff (especially Kathe-Marie) were wonderful and really wanted to make sure we had enough to eat and an excellent stay. I would absolutely recommend this place to other guests.

Views up here are amazing. Menu was set for our group. For a location like this service was great. Food was ok but did the job for a set menu. We had a private room but it was not marked as private a constant flow of people that want something to eat. A sign outside would be helpful

Overall I was very pleased with my experience here. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was very attentive. Frankly I'm confused by many of the low reviews! The only thing they should work on is eliminating the flies buzzing around the restaurant.

You can tell the food is not freshly prepared. Everything prepared. Cheesecake with a little kush and mushy. It's a shame the food used to be much better.

This is a restaurant I stopped by and had a meal at while taking the mountain train on the way down from the package tour of Jungpurau. It's right next to the train station, and they serve aperitif bread, salad, and goulash, and the aperitif bread is really delicious. The salad is fresh and the goulash is easy to eat because the meat is tender. Cheesecake for dessert is also good for refreshing your mouth.

This is a restaurant inside the station building. It's directly connected, so transportation is convenient. When the season is nice, you can enjoy the wonderful view and enjoy the food even more by eating on the terrace rather than indoors.

Good value for money! In a country where everything is (relatively) expensive, pleasantly surprised to come across this place. this family meal only cost 72CHF which has 3 types of pasta + a big bowl of salad. we were a hungry group of 6 and we even had gnocchi leftover. also had to buy this 8.90 CHF hot choco that came with a free souvenir mug! it was perfect on this very cold day.

Good food, excellent service & reasonable rates!

Easily the worst eating experience I have had in switzerland. We have been to the restaurant 3 times, not out of desire, but because it is sometimes the only place when you can eat inside. Each time has been sucessively worse and this last time the food was literally unbearable. The rosti, was awful and stale and almost tasted as though it had freezer burn. The noodles in the spaghetti also tasted old and stale as if they were long past their expiration date. The first batch of french fries were good, so we ordered a second batch and the second batch was nothing like the first and it was awful. The fries in the second portion were twice as thick and undercooked. On top of all of this they charge the same price for tap water as they do for beer and justify it by saying that the water is free but the price covers the dish washing fee. Also dont expect to experience any swiss culture, Expect plenty of American music and food that is below McDonald's in caliber but 7 times the price. Next time we will go back down the mountain to eat or just not eat at all.

This is criminal. Ready-made pizza and really small. The service is unfriendly and didn't even put the water out properly. If you are wondering whether to go at this moment, please don't go. Even if they are extremely hungry, they would rather go somewhere else. This saves you nausea and headaches

Everything was silent - the waiter was super friendly, super helpful, attentive and his good mood infected many guests. Ordered - blinked once and the food was on the table. I was super surprised at how quickly it happened. It was also very tasty and the guests next to me said they would definitely come back.

Loveless ready-made pizza. Does not correspond to Swiss quality. The restaurant has extremely tight seating. The price-performance ratio is not right at all. The Italian dishes are very inappropriate for a restaurant in the Swiss mountains.

Food: Was basically okay. Except that it wasn't seasoned at all, the menus we ordered weren't available and cheese with the spaghetti was only available upon request. Service: I have never encountered anything more unfriendly than H. Very unfriendly, we played cards until we were allowed to order. We were told you weren't allowed to do that. When paying, they said you couldn't do it individually. There was no conversation in a decent tone and when the child said no mushrooms when ordering, it was said in a very indecent tone that only one person speaks, but that shouldn't be the case against children as that is normal! Placemats and cutlery were simply left on the table Thrown table. Ambience: Villa Durchzug! General: There was snow on cutlery! The kitchen and the service couldn't keep up with so many guests. I think if there aren't enough staff, you just have to let fewer guests in.

Radim (sorry if spelt your name wrong) from Czech Republic is a great waiter! If I am correct he serves approx. 55 seats... which is hard when it is totally full! (I am a waiter too and appreciate someone trying hard, when almost in "sinking" circumstances.) This is a ski resort in winter and during summer is the main season. Will be super busy during normal eating times. Menu is normal but well prepared for speed - good for mountain regions. Beautiful views and great place to warm up during winter. Please understand you will have to wait during busy times, and naturally just after busy periods, staff need more time. Thank you for your service!

So far OK. The view is of course phenomenal. But not even having a portion of fries for children on the menu is a bit of a short-term idea, even in the off-season.

Hirschpfeffer on the Kleine Scheidegg. Beautifully prepared, really tasty and for Fr 25.50 in sunny weather. Perfect lunch after visiting the Jungfrau. What more could you want on a Sunday? Only to recommend. The service was also very friendly and quick... we'll be back, no question....

A restaurant right after getting off the train. There weren't many menu items, but the inside of the restaurant was spacious and you could relax. The restrooms are in the basement, and many customers use them on transit, so they open early.

I asked how could I order, and one of the waiter told me to sit. So I sat and waited, they saw me, but no one came to, at least, bring the menu. I had 30 minutes before my train would arrive. I just wanted a drink, not even hot food or whatever. Even after 20 minutes no one came, no one brought the menu, and my train arrived. I just left. Execrable. Thank you for nothing. It's the first time I gave a review of a restaurant because I'm usually easy, but this really disappointed me.

What can I say....I can't say anything..... Just looking at the scenery makes me full... After eating cup ramen at the top of Jungfrau, I came down and ate warm soup and a hot dog, and it melted my heart... In the meantime, the clerk greets me in Korean, which is very polite👍

Lodge Bergrestaurant Kleine Scheidegg 〇　I cannot recommend it to everyone. It feels similar to a Swiss youth hostel (private rooms). However, the food at this inn is 100 times more delicious. I'm surprised that the price is the same as the youth version! 〇　I was surprised by the staff's response.I can only say that it was wonderful. 〇　The view is amazing! In 2020, I made a reservation for the adjacent "Hotel Bellevue des Alpes", but it was canceled due to the coronavirus. This time I stayed here. The lodge is on the second floor of the building inside the station. Easy access There is a door exclusively for guests on the right after entering the back entrance of the restaurant. It's so simple that I'll miss it. The reception will be held at the restaurant. Heavy luggage (more than 30 kg) was carried by the elevator in the kitchen. 〇 Even after checking out, you can leave your luggage at the luggage storage next door. I returned from Joch at 2pm and it was free! 〇　Harfboad Both dinner and breakfast are luxurious and delicious. The chicken breasts are juicy and flavorful, and the pork is also flavorful. Dinner at Harfboad-provided accommodations during your trip, all for half the price! Dessert refused twice 〇　Shared shower room and WC　2 places, clean! KEEN sandals and sea pants were popular. 〇　Longer is the best! Rose-colored roth The three Jungfrau mountains are dyed. A tripod can be fixed to the roof that extends from the window. Ate very well. Staff courteous and friendly. We were up there on the MTB in the rain. Our clothes were dried overnight. Thanks for that.

The setting of the restaurant in the middle of a high mountain train station is very special. The atmosphere is welcoming, so is also the excellent service. Food was great.

The restaurant here has a great view and right by the train station. The outdoor seating is in between two self service sets of tables. We had a pasta and the lasagna, both were good but the lasagna was especially good! Dessert also great and friendly service!

We had lunch in the restaurant yesterday at lunchtime. We were cold and wanted to warm up, unfortunately we sat at a table where it was drafty and we couldn't get warm. The food wasn't very great. The spaghetti carnonara was bland and I didn't like the pancetta. The pizzas weren't very popular either. I was looking for a spiced up pizza from the major distributor. Rather sour and bland cheap ham. Not everything was served together either, poor coordination in the kitchen. Price/performance doesn't fit!
