Super friendly service, the lady was ADORABLE and everything was delicious. The Ethiopian coffee was amazing, the best in the world :-)

Very very tasty, beautifully presented tasting menu.

We tried the full experience: homemade mead as an aperitif, tasting menu with sambossa as a starter and baklava as a dessert, then traditional ginger tea as a digestive. The menu is eaten with your fingers and the dish is served in a typical basket. Everything was delicious, we loved it and the server was very friendly. THANKS

Well done, we had a lovely evening. The waitress was very friendly and smiling. The boss himself comes to give us explanations, the love of his country drives him. The meal was very good, very spicy but not to the point of spitting fire. The vegetarian menu was also appreciated by our friends. In any case, it changes and we remember it, great for marking something. Bon appetit to those who go there!!

Absolutely worth trying! We had the tasting menu. A clever blend of tastes, spices and textures to savor with your fingers. A culinary and cultural discovery that takes you between Eritrea and Ethiopia, for a meal. We eat with an Injera and only with the right hand. Youtube will show you how. We were pleasantly welcomed and the service was impeccable. In terms of atmosphere, I would have liked some portraits or landscapes for total immersion. Obviously, spices smell strong; you will have fingers reminding you of your meal for the rest of the afternoon/evening, a bit like after eating a kebab. Wipes and toilets are available to clean your hands if necessary.

The servers are very friendly and the food is incredibly good. A great experience that taught me one thing: in Eritrean they do the Met. The only criticism is the atmosphere which is absent with these banal white walls and the lack of background music.

Traveling becomes a luxury. Fortunately we still have places like this to project stars of exoticism before the taste buds. If you are familiar with Eritrean cuisine, you will not be disappointed; otherwise, let yourself be seduced by the tastes and the rediscovery of the use of your hands as an essential utensil. The icing on the cake is the discreetly warm welcome that I find everywhere from the people of this region.

I wanted to try this restaurant, but I was disappointed by both the quantity and the quantity of the meal. The patties are cold and disgusting and you have to look for the meat in the patty. No way at the end of the meal and offered to disinfect your hands...the smell haunted me throughout the afternoon.

I have always had good experiences in Eritrean/Ethiopian restaurants, and Dahlak is no exception to this rule! The service is good, the food delicious. I always regret this room in winter which is a little too cool for my taste but the restaurant can't do anything about that. For people sensitive to spicy cuisine: some dishes are very spicy, that's how it's supposed to be, so don't hesitate to get advice.

The Dahlak is a little gem in downtown Yverdon. A warm and always impeccable welcome, food that offers an enriching discovery to the taste buds and the eyes. It's good for the body and the head. I can only recommend taking the tasting menu, a small concentrate of tasty and colorful wonders to share. We love it and we want more! Long live Dahlak!!

Friendly staff, but far from crazy food. I didn't like the taste of the pancake which seemed to be a little rancid. I also didn't like the sauce that accompanied this ultra bland chicken.
