Attention, this company does not take cash! Absolutely a no go! The staff was friendly and didn't understand the management's approach. I'd be happy to come back if you take my money!

Unfortunately, no cash has been accepted since December. It's a shame, it doesn't work at all!!!

Food is quite good, especially the bowls. Coffee is quite good also. Staff friendly and the atmosphere is nice.

Just came for a visit the other day to realize that my beloved Dean and David is not the same here in Bern as it is in Hanau. No coffee,no soup,no fresh juices.....we are having winter time,are you going to serve these dishes again when the temperatures have risen? I am quite disappointed and could understand if D&D have to pack it in soon,sorry but friendly service can not make up for a bad menu.

No more eating on Saturday from half past three...

The Cesar salad is absolutely average, for 20.90 CHF I just expect more! Hardly any dressing, lettuce leaves that were too big and the cherry tomatoes had no taste at all. Chicken and cheese ok! All in all: the price-performance ratio is not right. The motto “healthy” alone does not justify such a surcharge, D&D has to take precedence over the books when it comes to taste and selection of ingredients!

A very tasty range of vegan dishes is available here. I am always very satisfied with the preparation, the taste and the great service.

It's only offered to go, but it's very quick and there's a good selection. I will definitely come back and absolutely recommend Dean & David.

Nice restaurant in the center of Bern, very well located. The staff was friendly, but unfortunately they also seemed a bit annoyed because we weren't sure what we wanted to order. (It was our first time to eat here). Since there were few guests, the food was prepared very quickly and tasted great. Really highly recommended👍🏽 It offers a large selection of freshly prepared dishes. Unfortunately the range of drinks doesn't suit my taste but this is subjective. (No standard soft drinks like Cola, Rivella etc.). Nice and stylish atmosphere. Price/performance ok as the food is generous. I only find the salads to be on the upper limit. I deducted for the cleanliness, especially in the toilet area, it's not that clean here and I found the "dishwashing smell" in the basement particularly annoying. Nevertheless, I recommend the restaurant.

The food is plentiful and tasty, the staff is friendly and smiling, but it's a pity that it's too hot inside. As soon as you set foot in the restaurant you start to sweat.

Nice place, friendly staff and delicious food, unfortunately you can't stay in the restaurant because it's so hot, there's no air conditioning and no windows so you feel like you're in a sauna. I don't know how the employees manage to work for long hours in these conditions. I don't think I will return.

The bowl is generous and delicious. But it was so hot inside the second floor... there was no ventilation and I ate while sweating.

We were able to easily order via the app and also received loyalty points. The falafel salad and the vegan brownies were super delicious.

It was very busy at lunchtime but ordering via the app worked wonderfully. I really enjoyed the bowls and the unusual smoothies, everything was healthy and rich.

The vegan brownie was very tasty, we will happily come back. I absolutely recommend Dean & David.

The sandwiches are my personal and absolute favorites. Totally delicious for lunch or for a little hunger in between. I always enjoy eating them.

Funny story! Imagine you pay more than 10 fr for a cappuccino and a muffin and you ask for a tap water! Then the guy asks you to pay for a tap water!! Already expensive and dont provide a water to a combination

Fast, friendly service. Good selection, difficult to decide. The meal is practically prepared and comes together in just a few minutes. Price-performance is right. You sit comfortably and can easily hang out/meet near the train station.

I had the red lentil for 16.90 CHF. There was 1 ladle of lentil dal, 1 ladle of rice and 1 spoon of sour cream. I did the greetings and smiles for the Lord :) . Tastes good, not enough quantity for the price. But there are dishes with more on the plate and also beautifully presented. I saw that with the customers at the next table.

The vegan sweet potato sandwich is a joke!!! There are three small pieces of sweet potato in the sandwich, but it costs around 8CHF. Unfortunately I only noticed this at work, otherwise I would have asked for my money back.

Very pricey for a very simple curry. Especially when you consider that the sweet potato was still very raw.

Very disappointing. Sounds very nice when you read it on the card but standard quality when you receive it. Sandwiches were cold after 1 minute. Mozzarella wasn't even melted. The advertised freshly squeezed orange juice came from a tetra pack and was served in a coffee mug for hot drinks. Just sad.

I regularly get my lunch from the Dean & David team at Hirschengraben - for a few weeks now it's been more delivery than take away :-) Today, on foggy Monday, a handwritten note came along with the delicious peanut beef bowl on which the team congratulated me Wishing you a start into the new week. Made my day! I always look forward to my D&D lunch, which always tastes delicious and freshly prepared without exception! THANKS!

I ordered a soup today for a whopping 9.90. The soup tasted good. However, the size is outrageous... They didn't win me over as a customer that way. A pity !

My sister ordered online for us to eat there (according to the note on the website, there will be no waiting time in the restaurant). The entrance is very narrow and there was already a long queue so we had to wait until we could pick up our pre-ordered food. A drink was missing from the order and the wrong dressing was on a salad. Nonetheless, the food was very good.

Large restaurant, it is a VEGAN restaurant. There are bowls, salts that you can put together yourself, smoothies, vegan and meatloaf burgers. And very large cups of coffee, also very good coffee.

I actually just wanted to buy a quick sandwich, but the decor and service convinced me to linger. I didn't have a sandwich either, just a salad. The chicken was still warm and the salad had just the right amount of dressing. The mango cubes went great with it. Divine!
