The best pizza and pasta I've eaten

Good day Our visit from March 30, 2024: The food was delicious, but we had to wait a long time. At first it took 10 minutes until we received the menus - but we already looked online and ordered directly. Then we had to wait 50 minutes for 2 pizzas, which is really too long. Pizzas are delicious, but somehow it's not fun. I rated the service 2/5, this is not because of the service that was there, but because of the service that wasn't there. It seemed to me like there weren't enough staff. The Margherita pizza had an unbaked piece of salami on it, this can happen, it's not a big deal, but if it's not noticeable in the kitchen, the service should notice it. But they were probably too stressed or, as they themselves called it, flow.

We ate a good pizza, and the service was truly impeccable, in an atmosphere that encouraged la dolce vita. I recommend.

Very centrally located restaurant with modern furnishings in Thun. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a lovely evening with fine food. A reservation is definitely recommended on the weekend

On Saturday January 27th, 2024 we were here for a rehearsal dinner - for a graduation party in April 2024. we ate pizza. It was a super good pizza - the dough had a very good taste and was baked just right. The pizza was generously topped with high-quality products. The salad was tasty, but the price wasn't justified - it was overpriced. The location of the restaurant is great and central at Mühliplatz in Thun - on the Aare. The staff is attentive and friendly (sympathetic). They make you feel comfortable and welcome. Complained at a high level: the large windows were smeared and dirty. I'm aware that keeping windows clean is very difficult and the weather at the moment isn't helping either.

great place good pizza and also inexpensive. BUT capuccino for 6.50 is absolutely exaggerated because the price performance is not right. uiuiuiuiuiui

The place is just perfect to pass by and have something to eat and drink. I had parmigiana, it was ok! The guy who served me was well-mannered and friendly.

Good food with a clear, not overloaded menu. I can only recommend.

Absolutely amazing place. The best pizza I ever had. And Tiramisu! You will fall in love with that taste... I have to also say about the staff there. They are proffesionals there, We always feel be welcomed there.. And that's important if we would like to eat in any restaurant.. For sure, next time we will come again .. :)

The was ok, nothing special. At least the price is good for the amount of the food. The restaurant is quite loud as there are many tables on a small space. The staff is kind. Nothing extraordinary

Very nice location, right on the Aare! The staff is very attentive, competent and nice! Food: some of the vegetables were unfortunately already cold but overall they were still very tasty! A visit is recommended!

Probably Thun's best pizza, delicious as usual. Wonderful ambience right on the Aaree, outside, in mid-October. Service seemed a bit left out at first, it took a long time until the woman was served...but then it went smoothly...very friendly and accommodating. And it's exemplary that they first ask whether the final schnapps is desired.

My husband and I went to this restaurant for lunch by chance. We went to the tables in the garden along the river and found two free tables and asked the waitress if we could sit. But the waitress, saying that they were for 4, made us choose between two other tables (obviously a less beautiful location). Besides, it was already the end of the shift A moment after us, two guys sat down at the table we wanted, the waitress didn't say anything to them and immediately handed them the menus. Having noticed my reaction, she told us that if we wanted we could take the other table. I would say that you don't behave like this, I understand that you have a thousand tourists but kindness and above all correctness in your work should be the basis of professionalism.

Really a top address if you want good and cozy food!

Beautiful spot, cool atmosphere, Nice dishes: excellent tomato soup and vegetable risotto. A pretty fast waiter and the others were cooler, but we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for our main course... it was a long time. Other than that, everything perfect.

This is a very nice place by the river. Pizza was very tasty, it’s served with many oils, herbs and spices. Prices are affordable- for pizza and two beers we paid 36 CHF and were both full and happy. The service was kind and nice. We will come back for sure.

Unfortunately, you won't be served at lunchtime if you haven't made a reservation - despite the empty tables.👎

I just had a Diavola pizza and a couple of beers but it was pretty good. Service is good and usually waiters speak English in case your German is not too good 😅

We came to 20 mins before they close. I’m sure after a hard day of work they want to get going but they accepted four of us and served us with quality food despite the fact they close in 20 mins. The food was extremely great, staff was amazing and had a great work ethic. Highly recommend the place and good staff who are willing to help

We ate there last week. It was good so far. The service was slow and we had to wait a long time. What was very annoying for us was the party music noise from the terrace above. Not very inviting and not recommended..

Since May 2023 the service has been extremely poor. The pizza is ok. The tiramisu was not edible today.

We've been waiting for 1h30 and still haven't gotten any pizza. Worst restaurant I've visited so far. Kitchen too small for so much space, just terrible. Far too hot in the interior and far too few service staff. Otherwise the food is great but everything else is bottomless. Never again!!

It's a shame that the service is so poor. I've been here twice and both times I had to wait up to 2 hours. The service staff are also very inattentive.

The quality of the food is excellent, the dishes are very well presented. I had a lasagna and we found all the tastes of it, the service and the atmosphere are there with a nice view of the river. The dishes were served quickly which is important for gourmets! To go back!

Delicious gluten free options. My mom and I both have to be gluten free due to celiac/gluten intolerance. She said that her meal (pasta dish, unfortunately cannot remember the name) was the best gluten free meal she’s ever gotten from a restaurant. I had a gluten free margarita pizza (pictured) that was also very good!

Unfortunately service was not attentive. We had to wait a long time to be served. The reason for this was two new employees. However, there are clear rules in the catering sector as to when a table is cleaned, for example. We first received the menu, then ordered our food and only then was the table cleaned. Cleaning should be done first. The food, however, was good. Meat could be a little more.

Excellent food! My wife has to be gluten and dairy free and she had the spaghetti del marianaio - she said it was the best gluten + dairy free meal she’s ever had at a restaurant! We also had a margarita pizza, spaghetti carbonara, and lasagna. All 4 dishes were excellent!

Best gluten free/ dairy free meal I have EVER eaten at a restaurant! I got the Mariania pasta with gf noodles and sans croutons. Delicious!!! So excited to get such a great meal out-usually I just cook at our Airbnb when we travel.

Place is cool and food is ok but service is super slow and chaotic. Do not go on busy times if you do not want to wait ages for you food.

Well the service sucks specially the ukranian waitress, I mean sorry but here there is not war so there no reason why to be so rude, the pizza really bad, only the fizzy good, I regret this because i'ts an splendid spot but the river, but personally I will not come back.

My son and I went to eat pizza on the terrace. Friendly operation and fast service. Unfortunately my son ordered the wrong pizza and we ordered a new one. The new pizza was at the table in no less than 5 minutes. We were able to continue eating together. Thank you very much, because my little prince was now happy. The first pizza was packed to take away. Great service, price/performance absolutely fine. We look forward to the next visit.

We had their tomato soup, bruschetta & asparagus salad. Although the service was lagging a little bit the food was delicious and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful, made good suggestions based on what we are looking for.
