We had Spatzlipfanne, Alpermagronen mit Apfelmus) It was the best mac and cheese we have ever had. It is not your typical touristy restaurant, the servers spoke little to no English but were very kind. Thankfully we used Google lens to figure out the menu. We chose to sit outside facing the lush greenery. It is hardly a 5 min walk from the Zermatt train station.

We came here with my husband and very happily surprised. The family running restaurant was very kind. Earlier the day we had two beers and asked for the dinner time. Zudem gabs zu den frischen Brötchen ein Bütterchen, zur Rechnung noch was zum Schnousen - nichts was sein muss, aber dennoch schöne Details die den Gesamteindruck nochmals heben. ..und dies zu absolut fairen Preisen. Kurzum: Das Restaurant Derby werde ich auch bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt in Zweisimmen unbedingt besuchen und kann ich nur jedem empfehlen!
