Very expensive for what you get in terms of food. There's nothing special in terms of taste either. You will hardly be understood even if you speak “High German”.

Unfortunately, absolutely not suitable for allergy sufferers - Street noise is clearly audible due to poor insulation - Top floor not accessible by elevator - Reception not manned, you have to call for service

We didn’t expect such a nice French inspired restaurant in Zweisimmen. Only had a short stay as we were headed early next morning to the balloon festival. The brasserie surprised us by all means. Service, menu and drinks were fantastic. They had several kinds of mulled wine, rare find. Choosing from the menu was tough, everything sounds delicious. We opted for a daily soup, I had the tartare and my husband had the Suure Mocke from their winter menu. Flavors were great and we enjoyed everything. Unfortunately no more space for dessert. This place is reason enough to come back to Zweisimmen.

Leckeres Mittagessen auf der Terrasse mit super Service, was will man mehr. Wir hatten Papardelle mit Bärlauchpesto und Crevetten, meine Frau den Salat mit Burrata und Rauchlachs und Junior war von den Weisswürstel begeistert. Gerne wieder 😀!

We are pleased that the Forellensee is open again. The food is still sensationally good. If you don't like fish, I can warmly recommend the fine chicken breast with curry sauce.

We have driven past the restaurant a few times on the way to Simmental and have now stopped for food for the first time. The service was very friendly and the food was excellent. We will be happy to come back and can highly recommend the Schlössli.
