Die Burgerei in Glarus Nord

Another restaurant hyped by the media and local vote… all in all delicious! but I couldn't understand the price/performance ratio. In my case, the Gruyere burger was quite small and the Gruyere was barely noticeable. the fries are very dry to dark brown. Maybe I tried the wrong burger, but the sauce wasn't rich either - which would be the secret main ingredient in the burger... As I said, solid but nothing more

Just wow It's important to make a reservation, it's always fully booked. The food, ambience, staff and the price are just great👍 The monthly burgers are always very creative and are excellent. Sweet potato fries combined with homemade honey mayo are a real delight. The homemade iced tea is also great. Dessert chocolate mousse is also fabulous. The staff is always very friendly. Always happy to come back. Certainly once a month😃👍.

I have heard good things about this place however when attempting to book on two seperate occasions, they do not answer the phone or call back. How does one make a reservation at a place that does not take calls?

The Burgerei is the best thing ever in the canton of Glarus! I can only recommend it!!!

Food great - service flop. The burgers are really phenomenal, as are the side dishes, even if the price is rather high. The service doesn't work at all. Dear waitresses, you don't take a guest's plate away as long as the cutlery is not on the plate and the side dishes in the separate plate have not yet been eaten. This is an absolute no-go.

Sensational meat quality! Burger with fresh beef spatti + pulled pork, first-class sauces (beetroot mayo). I don't currently know of a better alternative! We'd love to come back😉

They really are the best burgers in Switzerland The dirty beef was really good. The side dishes are also great. And the homemade sauces are very good. We had Smokey BBQ AND HONEY Mayo The service is great. I just looked at the waiter briefly and he immediately brought me another cola. When we arrived the hut was full. You might have to wait a bit. But it's ok then you can have an aperitif. And then eat. We'll definitely be back 👍👍👍

The best burgers in all of Switzerland. Because only really good ingredients are used and you can taste it. The staff is really interested in doing something good for the guest.

The burger was extremely excellent! Here they pay attention to where the meat comes from, they prepare the meat themselves without any artificial substances. We will go there again and would happily recommend it to others. Very friendly staff. Table reservation is an advantage. Otherwise you will find a place at the bar.

Burger was tasty but unfortunately had a hair in it... It's a shame that you have to order fries separately!

Spontaneously came across the Burgerei while passing through. Reservations were certainly not wrong, because all tables were occupied, we were lucky without one. A location where the name says it all. The Hulk Burger was very tasty. We'd love to come back.

Very unsympathetic staff, you can tell that your work is annoying and you are forced to be nice, which seems very cheeky. I think tap water 1L 5 CHF is outrageous because I can't drink anything else. Very expensive but good burger buns, meat is also fresh, juicy and tasty. Fries and sweet potatoes are great but very expensive for this portion. Other side dishes don't taste fresh and are therefore expensive. Sauces also good but very expensive. I've never had a good dessert. Price performance is not correct in my opinion.

Really great burgers, handmade patties, a lot of attention to detail and yet not overloaded. I love good burgers - not cheap fast food - but a taste experience! You'll definitely find that here - these are burgers that deserve the name! But the sweet potato fries and the dessert were also great. We drove an extra hour and it was more than worth it. The price is completely reasonable, the boss is very friendly and took great care of us. I will definitely go more often. Anyone who appreciates a good burger will feel in good hands at the Burgerei

We arrived at 14:00 and they did not let us seat because the kitchen was already closed. Online it’s written till 14:30, so we should have been served! Very bad expirience!

Good burgers in the simply furnished restaurant. The prices are high, each supplement is charged separately. Lunch menus are a little cheaper. For the price it might seem a little more classy for my taste. The restaurant is nice, but a bit noisy due to its size.

After ordering takeaway a few times, we wanted to eat on site. Friday evening and not reserved... Full House. Federico did everything he could to ensure we still got a place. The food was sensationally good, the atmosphere was very homely. We'll definitely come back when we're in the region!

As a self-proclaimed burger tester and expert, I think this is the best burger in all of Switzerland. The meat was locally sourced, the bun was so delicate, the vegetables were also delicious, everything melted in your mouth. Thick fries, also made from local potatoes. This is the burger you are looking for and which will not disappoint you, and if it does, go for a kebab because you won't feel the difference anyway. After a whole day of hiking, it was our salvation and discovery. We will go back there again :)

I ordered 4 burgers with fries to take away at 6 p.m. The restaurant was full and the waiting time was almost 50 minutes. I was able to drink a beer so comfortably. The food was ok, but I've had better burgers and I thought the fries were great

The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to hang out with friends or enjoy a meal alone. The burgers are juicy and flavorful. And let's not forget about the views that an extra touch of magic to the whole dining experience. The staff at Die Burgerei are incredibly friendly and always make you feel right at home.

Really great burgers, I have to admit. The fries were also really tasty, unfortunately salted a little irregularly, so some of the fries were oversalted. I wanted a different sauce for my burger (no extra sauce), it cost me 2fr extra, I think it's a bit outrageous. The good thing was that the waitress pointed out the extra costs to me. The dessert, the panna cotta, has room for improvement; in my opinion, vanilla should be included.

Very cosy and relaxing atmosphere for a restaurant. It's advisable to book a table ahead prior to visiting the restaurant. Staff members are very friendly and respectful. I ordered a medium rare cheese burger with fries and a rivela drink, and it was beautifully made. The view outside of the restaurant is stunning. I highly recommend this restaurant. 👌

Great selection on the menu. Cool combination and variations of the burgers, original but not exaggerated. Roll Tip Top and the meat!!!!! Top quality, fresh, juicy, pure beef, tasty and fried to perfection by the chef. An absolute feast for the palate. This is exactly how a burger should be. I take off my hat and bow. It was great!!!

We heard about the burger shop and wanted to see for ourselves. The food (the burger) was really good, but the rest massively detracted from the dining experience. Starting with taking the order, where we were then made aware that changing the sauce would cost CHF 2.00. Given the prices, that's more than exorbitant, because after all we didn't order two sauces, we simply ordered a different one. Please note that if I were to order an additional sauce for the fries, this would also be charged at CHF 2.00. This doesn't work either way and shows a certain inflexibility and ingratitude towards the guest, because not everyone likes BBQ sauce. So we (had to) accept that and placed the order. After a few minutes our order came, but unfortunately not as ordered. Can I now make deductions from the bill or is that just the right of the landlord? It's a shame that we won't go there again and that because of 2.00 CHF for a different sauce (cocktail), which is really not okay. So we immediately googled where we could go alternatively. Manito in Baden, here we come: more selection, fair prices, good quality (according to reviews).

The burger shop knows how to prepare culinary-perfect burgers. Many different variations leave almost nothing to be desired. For me personally, the sweet potato fries at the Burgerei are a huge plus. But of course the regular fries are also first class. The meat is beautifully tender and juicy, the bun is airy and crispy at the same time. In addition, all sauces are homemade. The chef knows his craft thoroughly.

Mainly visited by Swiss people, but okay because eating out costs a fortune. An example a kebab 10 francs.

I think the burger joint is overrated. The burgers are good, but nothing special. Unfortunately, something has been done wrong with every order I have placed so far. I either got the wrong burger or the wrong sauce. No one apologized and no discount was given. I also noticed that there is an additional charge of 2 francs for a different sauce in the burger, which I think is unreasonably expensive. Overall, I'm disappointed with the lack of service quality and pricing policy of this burger joint.

After a hike we wanted to have some burger. Unfortunately this was not possible due to our hiking shoes (having mud). First time in my life (and hiking life) I was asked not to enterst the restaurant without changing the shoes! Not a pleasant experience.

The prices are really steep! But the burgers are really good too. I have never had a better burger in Switzerland. So I'm always happy to come back.

A few weeks ago, a colleague brought me a chili burger, which was so good that I spent my lunch break here with another colleague a while later. This time too, I was impressed by the quality. The wild beef burger was delicious. Ok, the meal with a bottled water and a latte wasn't exactly cheap. Nevertheless, I will come back when I get the chance. Atmosphere appealing and service TOP! Thank you for the hospitality!

The name says it all: a good selection of burgers and the accompanying side dishes. The brioche is super good and big. The burgers are also very good. I had Onion Rings and they could have been a little bigger (well not more, but physically bigger). Likewise, it's a little strange that if you change sauces you pay more. But that could also have been a mistake. Otherwise great and a recommendation.

So so so so good. I keep eating burgers too often now because they are the best I've had!

Everything was great from A to Z. Despite the warm summer weather, the air conditioning makes it very pleasant in the restaurant. You will be warmly welcomed by the staff and served very well. The burgers and side dishes were very tasty. I can only recommend.
