Good home-style restaurant with friendly service staff. The cordonbleus are homemade and delicious. Unfortunately, the cheese in the Chnobli-Cordonbleu failed (consistency, taste). The vegetable plate for CHF 25 was good, but far too expensive! And the side dish (croquettes) for CHF 6.50 wasn't even included. Unfortunately, this rather spoiled the overall impression of our visit…

This was our first time here - but definitely not the last time. Great food. Service was good and friendly, there was a bit of a wait with many guests, but it was completely understandable and the staff made a great effort and always remained polite despite the stress. Boss (patron) very rustic and well-positioned, the guests come and ask “was that right”. Something like that is appreciated, because this gesture is (unfortunately) in short supply these days. He even offered a supplemental schnapps. Ambiance rustic and uncomplicated - gladly again👍👍👍

Down-to-earth restaurant with decent portions. Everything freshly prepared with local products. Tarte flambée looks great, made with lots of cheese like a pizza. Chicken salad garnished unfortunately chicken was dry. Cordon bleu 300 GR was decent. Service rustic and friendly. Unfortunately there was no champagne 🍾.

Opening hours on Google, website and social media are incorrect. When we traveled specifically to Suhr, we found ourselves in front of closed doors (January 7, 2023 at 12:00). There was also no information over the phone that the restaurant was closed. Luckily we have one Another place in Suhr (Da Luca) ate very well.

Swiss cuisine at its finest. The restaurant is a good example of traditional Swiss cuisine. The atmosphere, the food and the service show how people used to eat before international restaurant chains in Switzerland. The food is of high quality and beautifully presented. The price-performance ratio is clearly on the customer's side. The portions are very generous. One experience, in addition to the good food, was that the owner came to the guests and asked if everything was OK and sat and talked to others, (presumably regular) guests. It made you feel like you were more than just a customer.
