Domino in Fribourg

It seems that the policy of the city of Friborg allows a small group of restaurants to take advantage of their monopoly on the square to charge surreal prices, such as that of 4.70 CHF for a Coke without bubbles, served by a probably paid student. at the union minimum wage. I am surprised that people continue to frequent this place despite such practices.

You should review your prices which are exorbitant for this type of card. I understand better why the prices are not on the menu on your site. It wasn't bad, mind you... it's the prices that are exaggerated. CHF 8.30 for a small green salad with a little sauce... yeah...

12 francs 50.- for a hungry croque-monsieur served after 30 minutes of waiting, puppets! and all this with big hypocritical smiles and in an EMS atmosphere at the end of the entertainment... To be avoided

A pretty terrace on Boulevard de Pérolles which overlooks a large park. A friendly neighborhood café with its regulars. Fast and smiling service and even fondue & raclette, not the lightest in this heat but traditional! ;-)

Great setting on the outside, but for the rest.... Another place that doesn't give itself the means. Staff not responsive, not friendly, understaffed, very expensive and poor quality card. You have to chase the waiters so that the table is cleared when you arrive and to order. You have to clean it yourself if you don't want to eat on crumbs from previous customers. Interior worthy of the golden age of the 80s.

The Domino is totally under-exploited in terms of catering. Too bad, the establishment overlooks a green area, with a terrace. Schedules to be reviewed in the evening. The weekend accordionist should be avoided and scares away customers. It would be advisable to open in the evening and provide a real food menu.

Expensive ice cream and little taste

I like the atmosphere in the morning. The place is quiet, people read their newspapers and Radio Friborg is broadcast. The interior doesn't change, but I like it. The service is fast and friendly. The coffee is not to my taste, but the croissant has a second-day texture.

How can you justify a difference of 50 cents between a normal beer and a shandy, lemon lemonade is champagne at Domino??

Very well located right next to the park, sunny terrace and very good pastries

Large shaded terrace and decent kitchen. The weak points: stinginess on the bread to accompany salads / overpriced squeezed orange juice (6.10 = 2dl) / unfriendly service and no apology when 15.- is missing when giving change. Feeling like I'm being taken for a cash cow, I won't go back!

Nice little tea room. The employees are smiling and dynamic. Beautiful terrace which lets us enjoy the sun in summer and winter.

The quality of the products offered on the menu is not very good. The male restaurant staff leaves something to be desired. People eating behind me kindly asked to raise the umbrella because the sun was beating down but the waiter told the customers in a haughty tone "well it's winter I can't". The couple got up and left. For my part, I left with my 3 year old son. He tried to communicate with the waiter by smiling but no sign of the waiter who was cold as a subway bar. I do not recommend this restaurant because you will have much more quality choice in other restaurants nearby for less money and with friendlier staff.

Nice terrace, classic restaurant, tea room and café on a square in town. It is not a tourist highlight, the view of the park is clear, you see the bowlers or the children playing....fairly elderly clientele.

We had a croque madame and a toast. Everything was good, the staff was friendly, service was quick and the price was reasonable. The atmosphere is really chill, it is a good place to sit on the terrace and get some sun.

Excellent patisserie. The tables in the sun on Boulevard Perolles are beautiful. I sincerely hope that sooner or later they will renovate the place and the furnishings which, by eye, could be from the 60s (ohmondieu!!!! :((( )

Service and terrace are ok, good location but unfortunately 2 old customers who were already quite drunk at 1 p.m. made inappropriate and nasty comments towards our dogs and out loud, no one reacted. Not the first time that there are alcoholic and unpleasant people on this terrace, too bad..

Nothing special for me. A somewhat staff canteen style environment with no decoration and no soul. They close in the evening. They have a terrace and you can order different fondues. If it hadn't been for a heavy storm I wouldn't have gotten lost in this place.

Newspapers, good coffee and even a squeezed lemon. If you want you can get a cake from Suard to eat at the Domino bistro.

Amazing terrace in the middle of Fribourg

Confiserie Sudan on the corner has a delicious selection of patisserie, cakes and tarts; There are also sandwiches and salads for lunch. You can easily take sweet pastries over to the Tea Room Domino. There, the large glass front or terrace provides a clear view of the playground and the meadow of the Parc du Pérolles. Remains with parents with children who already play independently.
