Service is good and the indoor decoration is very homey. However, food is not up to my expectation. I had a burrata with vegetables as starter. The burrata was dry and the bell pepper was not sweet at all. Then I had prawns as main dish. The portion is huge. But the prawns vein was not clean. The vegetable was too bitter.

The food is really good, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes Mediterranean cuisine.

Food was good, service quite slow but it was a busy lunch time. Very loud and not cozy ambience. I have made a reservation for 2ppl plus a baby in the stroller, it turned out our table is at the back of the restaurant and in order to get there I had to excuse people sitting at 2 tables. Moreover no changing board for the baby which is shocking knowing how little space the board takes.

The food was good, but we were overcharged. After we asked, the bill was adjusted, one menu was deleted, but another was added, which we didn't even order. Service is therefore rather mediocre, we no longer visit this restaurant!

Had a year-end work dinner at Don Leone. The staff treated us like royalty. The cured meat platters mixed with mozzarella, tomatoes and Olives was very good and so was the pizza calzone that came afterwards

I love it! Very Best Pizza, Risotto and Cozze in Zurich! The Antipasti are awsome! What a Steak !!! What a Tuna! What a Pasta !!!! Particularly noteworthy is the boss Nadia! She makes the guests feel like a friend of the house ! The staff is enormously friendly and helpful! The terrace in summer is an insider tip! Everytime again as well! ❤️

Had the most amazing food of my life here. Home made pasta and a meat plate that was huge! If you are in the area and looking for good filling food thus is the place. Also staff were amazing and all spoke multiple languages (2-4) including English. HIGHLY recommended fir a fun and filling place to eat!

Best Italian restaurant in Zurich!

We had a great experience at this restaurant. We dined earlier this week with our family (2 adults and 2 children). Staff were amazing - friendly, helpful and pleasant. Food - we had a range of pasta, fish and meat. All great ingredients, cooked beautifully, very tasty. Highly recommended.

It simply can't be the case that in this restaurant only one service employee can speak German and the rest only speak English?! That's not possible. Food was good.

Nice friendly staff. Tables and seating are relatively tight. Kitchen exhaust inefficient, therefore very bad air in the restaurant. Pizzas are tasty at decent prices.

The food is really good, pizza and Pasta especially are delicious. Pizza comes really fast but for the rest of the dishes you wait a bit more (20-25-30min) depending on how crowded the place is.

We tryed 2 different pizza with truffles and i should say it was just amazing! The staff was very friendly and the aperols was great, definitely will come back soon! Highly recomendate!

A very well made menu, loads of different choices to pick from! I personally tried a pizza and it was well sized (standard 8 piece), had rich taste and was delivered fast despite our table consisting of 8 people! We were all super satisfied with the food , the staff was super friendly and the restaurant was very cozy and clean!

The food was great. Except for the pizza in Naples, it was probably the best pizza I've ever had. The atmosphere is also good and the house wine is a must.

It's a restaurant where the dishes are good, but with the bill not proportionate it has what you eat. Bottle of Don Leone brand prosecco too expensive. Overall worth visiting.

Me and my partner ate at Don Leone at Waffenplatz. The food was absolutely top and the service was also very friendly. We will 100% come back. Very tasty pizza. The best in Zurich! The meat was also excellent. We are already looking forward to the next Italian evening with you.

Not recommended and far too expensive. Had pizza here with my children, pizza was ok but way too much cheese on it... The big disappointment, however, is the real embarrassment when ordering fresh orange juice for my small children. They wanted freshly squeezed orange juice, we received two mini glasses, which were only half full, and we deducted 5 francs per glass. impudence. Even for children it was a maximum of three sips. Never experienced anything like this. Arrogant service

In addition to eating excellent meat and fish, I always and only go to this restaurant for the kindness and courtesy of the staff and the owner!! Returning to the kitchen, they make wonderful meat, you eat the fish as if you were at sea and the first courses are excellent!! In my opinion, for quality/price, it is one of the best alternatives in Zurich

Pizza and salad was ok. Edible but not great.

Ok Italian. Food is good but nothing special.

The pasta (tomatoes and prawns) was very heavy on the sauce, which overpowered the flavor of the fresh tomatoes and prawns to shine. However, the panna cotta was a really nice ending. It had good texture and sweetness and was paired with a burnt sugar glaze. Given that, I’m guessing there are other dishes I would have liked but unfortunately, the one I had was only okay.

Too expensive Since a bottle of Prosecco signed by Don Leone was a whopping 60 francs, the food wasn't really that fresh and in any case we won't go back again.

They know what they're doing. Excellent negroni and aperol spritz. Delicious freshly baked bread with olive oil from their own distribution. And excellent pizza. Prices a bit steep even for Zürich but cheaper than going all the way to Italy 😉

The food is very tasty but the service ruins the experience. We had the Ravioli, bruschetta and Marinara pasta. Everything was great and the bread was fresh and soft! The waitress that attended to us was very rude. It seemed like she had to put massive effort in talking to us. She decided to take away our breadbasket while we were still eating and there was some bread in it. The second waitress seemed polite.

Good Italian food, not a lot of vegan options on the menu but they are happy to customize a dish if you ask. Pizza is definitely the best option as their dough is phenomenal.

OMG. The pasta here is ammmmmazing. They've got good pizzas and decent cocktails too, but I feel that pasta is the underrated champion here. Easy to reach using tram 13. It has outdoor seating as well. Recommend booking a seat in advance :)

Food was just okay for me. Had seafood pasta- seafood was super fresh but the pasta was soggy and stuck to each other- quite disappointing for a specialty Italian restaurant. Took more than an hour for our order to arrive. Prices are normal for Zurich. Italian waitress was nice. All in all, might give it a second try..

Worst experience!! Had a reservation at 9pm and after a wait they told us to sit in a table where it was impossible to fit 5. Afterwards, they said we should wait 5 mins for our table to be free, after 30 mins no table was available and kept saying it would be free in 2-5mins. They never told the customers that we were waiting for the table and kept us out on the cold for 40 mins! No solution provided, only a sorry
