Dorfbäckerei/Konditorei Manser GmbH in Teufen (AR)

I visited a fair in the center of Zurich. I bought the pear fritter (birnbrot). I found it expensive, and it's not even that tasty. The staff are not the friendliest, but they are not the harshest in Switzerland either.

I was at Manser for the first time yesterday and bought the best Bürli at Helvetia Platz. Will come again

It's always a pleasure to stop by Manser on Helvetiaplatz. Especially the Bürli sign, by far the best in all of Zurich.

Was at the market in Zurich Oerlikon today. Very disappointing, a small "almond fish", for CHF 4.50. Everything was just almonds and could only be found microscopically. Hazelnuts are considerably cheaper, as are tree nuts and risins. I will avoid the stand in the future.

The shop is very nicely decorated. The service is nice and raved about the Schlorzifladen. I unfortunately do not. Pear filling is very fine, but the topping (vanilla icing) is hard and dry. A pity! Biberli was great!

The only real St. Gallen Büürli (and that in Ausserrhoden), Manserspitz with delicious local Mostbröckli, the unique fruit bread and not forgetting the best sandwiches I know. The staff is always friendly, courteous and nice. Lets go!

Very fine pastries. Unfortunately, I have observed a disproportionate price increase on the Manserspitz over the last few years:-( without the pastry becoming larger:-(
