Dorfbeck AG in Köniz

It used to be good. Now it's just a self-service shop and the display is almost completely sold out by lunchtime without anyone even thinking about refilling it. And they no longer accept cash because there is no one there to take it. The social experience with the sales person, which offers such a store added value compared to the bakeries at retailers, no longer takes place. It's actually a shame, but I don't think this store will last much longer in this form.

Unfortunately we are very disappointed. At 7 p.m. got some bread and Weggli, both rock hard and dry. Someone could have been killed. I have also bought butter twice and both of them molded inertly for 2 days despite their shelf life. (The first butter that went moldy in my fridge🤮). In addition, the women and men cannot drive onto the pitch normally but always like cuckolds. Same thing when driving away!! We no longer support this.

Very friendly service, lots of good things. Let yourself be surprised.

So far I have always met friendly staff, for example Franca Farron. :) The pastries are okay, but I prefer to get the “nidlechueche” somewhere else. Generally a welcoming shop…

The reason I don't go there anymore is because you don't feel welcome! The employees sitting in front of the shop are smoking (which I find incredibly disgusting) and eating "käfälä" and if you want something you get an annoyed look... The assortment usually leaves a lot to be desired, how can a bakery at 11 a.m (weekdays) already run out of patisserie and desserts?

The Züpfe (Saturday or Sunday) is very dry because it is probably baked. Very unfortunate. I don't expect something like that in a bakery.

I have to honestly say that I would rather go to Bern and go to a bakery there. You are not greeted, you are not treated with respect and if you want something else the lady reacts annoyed... Personally, I don't like talking to people I don't know! But that's exactly why I chose a career where I have as little customer contact as possible... I'm not talking about the whole team, just one person and if I just see that one person is in the store, I'll leave directly to Bern and for the sole reason that I would like to enter a bakery and hear a "Grüessech" or a "Gute Morge" and not just receive an annoyed look.

The products like bread and croissants are okay, there's not much to complain about. When it comes to friendliness (I can only talk about Sunday), there is still a lot of room for improvement. No farewell, no friendly smile, no nice greeting - nothing. I actually want to support local businesses, but next time I'll go to the Coop again, on Saturday...

Excellent and fresh bread. Special breads are particularly recommended. Half-white bread for fondue, simply delicious! The desserts are also tasty :)

Buy and go. Yes, don't ask anything critical and certainly don't question it. We don't even want to talk about complaining. What the heck, then I'll only come at the beginning and middle of the week. It's a shame, because the bread at Jäger's would be very tasty. Oh yes, they get 4 stars for Mondays (Bakery test, end of November 2020)
