How nice that nothing has changed at Dory&Du after more than a year: it was the second perfect evening with excellent food (the vegetarian platter - to share and a bit of everything - is absolutely recommended and a good solution if you're not up for it can choose one of the dishes on offer, all of which are creative and not exactly ordinary). The service is friendly and attentive, accommodating and the ambience, yes, it's beautiful anyway and just makes you feel good. Dory&Du is a real asset to Baden. The evening at Dory and you was very nice. Excellent service who gave us great advice. The aperitif drink with vermuth and saffron was something completely different but super tasty. The food is very nicely prepared, but a bit bland for my taste. My conclusion, gladly again, I can warmly recommend the restaurant to you!

A really nice place to meet and hang out with friends with good food, loving service and good wine.

Highly recommended, cozy restaurant. We were guests at DORY & DU for the first time on Saturday evening and were warmly welcomed by the staff. The interior is very stylishly designed and great attention has been paid to details, you feel very comfortable in this atmosphere. The selection is manageable but very varied, there is always something for vegans and meat eaters alike! For starters we had the focaccia (highly recommended) and the wonderful nutmeg and persimmon salad. For the main course we tried the vegetarian plate (with the glass noodles) and were not disappointed, it was a culinary delight! The service was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come back!

Great service, the young man was very attentive, thank you very much. The ambience was pleasant, the entrance inviting, I felt comfortable. Ordered a vegetarian platter for two, with the salad in a small bowl for two people. The food was ok, but I imagined something different for the “culinary journey”. Namely more different, small bites, a bit of this and a bit of that, the flavor explosion was missing. I could have easily eaten the plate alone, I was still hungry afterwards. The price for 37.- per person was deficient for me. set too high. Anyway, thank you for your hospitality.

Dory does a great job - the starters and main courses were all great, and if there's still room for improvement with the dessert, then that doesn't really detract from the overall impression.

The place is packed during the week, good for business, unfortunately too narrow and far too loud. The selection is small, mainly vegi/vegan dishes, overpriced and over-stuffed. Although tasty, it was also bland and strictly out of the norm, so in my house only the cat eats from one bowl! And where was the John Dory? The service is very demanding, walks around in individual private clothes (T-shirt/hoodie), you don't know whether someone is staff or a guest.

A great ambience and definitely a feel-good atmosphere in this restaurant. Very friendly and attentive service. The greeting from the kitchen was super nice. The main course was tasty but not outstanding. Unfortunately the chestnut tiramisu was not ok. The bottom part worked, but the top part was really disgusting and didn't fit. It smelled and tasted somehow like Gorgonzola and you felt the taste for longer when you burped. We discussed this on site and honestly and apparently some people don't like the dessert and some people like it. We were disappointed that they still deducted 8.50 francs from us because that was already known. The dessert tasted like someone had tried something but it didn't go together at all. And the menu only says chestnut tiramisu. That was a shame because we were really looking forward to dessert.

As is often the case: a lot of money for little food. Because of all the creativity, the last bit is missing. The food looks great, no doubt about it! But the combination is not harmonious, it doesn't fit because one ingredient is too dominant or too bland. The service is trying to be friendly, but nothing more. The wrong thing is brought but not cleared away. And last but not least: Too expensive for what they offer, more appearance than reality.

We were able to enjoy our Christmas dinner at this great place! From the service to the ambience to the delicious food, it was truly an experience! We can warmly recommend DORY & DU to everyone.

This restaurant is one of my top locations in Baden. It doesn't matter whether I'm going for a leisurely meal there in the evening or if I'm out with the dog and feel like having an aperitif on the river bank. The dishes are cleverly made and taste delicious - at Dory & Du it's always worth trying the vegetarian versions...

You should pay with cash and avoid using cards etc. Due to water damage I needed the receipt again. Unfortunately, it can no longer be found and the cash register system can sometimes be a bit difficult with “old receipts”. I received the receipt.

It used to be a favorite restaurant for dinner together. However, the portions have now become significantly smaller and the price is even higher. E.g. Risotto for around 30 francs, the portion of glass noodles is not really appropriate for the price. The ice cream for dessert was too sweet for us compared to the taste. House aperitif is also quite expensive at 14.- or without alcohol at 12.-.

The Dory&Du is a wonderful place to feel good and be. The staff took great care of our needs and wishes and I just had time and leisure to celebrate my birthday with my guests. The food was unique and really something special. Thank you very much!

A wonderful experience! The service (especially the learners) was simply magical and incredibly accommodating - thank you very much! The food was a dream and every dish we had was a highlight. All of this in a little paradise in the middle of Baden. We'll definitely be back soon!

Always beautiful! Very good seasonal and exciting menu. Staff are always very accommodating, waiting is a foreign word here.

For the 5th time in D&D: the first two times were unfortunately rather bad (see previous review), then after a long break twice really good: the food was tasty and enough, the service was friendly. Well, unfortunately disappointing again on the 5th visit. Vegan platter tasted ok, but not enough for 3, it was more of an appetizer, poor value for money. Hanger steak was good but tiny and not worthy of its name. Service mediocre (table with wrong reservation card, question: does anyone else want to order coffee? Otherwise we would be cleaning the coffee machine at 10.30 p.m. (!). It will probably take longer before we come back.

Wow, the perfect restaurant. Short, innovative menu with many vegetarian dishes, nice, competent staff, creative, motivated cuisine, beautiful restaurant and exciting wine list. This makes going out to eat fun and the tip is well spent.

I've eaten here several times and it's always a pleasure. The ambience and atmosphere are very inviting. You immediately feel comfortable. The dishes were created by the chef Giovanni himself and are very special! You would like to try everything. The menu isn't huge, which I personally like. The plates are prepared with great attention to detail, like in a star restaurant. There is even a little greeting from the kitchen before the meal. It has excellent dishes for vegetarians and vegans! The house cocktails are also super delicious! The lower area can be rented for private parties and events. I always enjoy going there.

A really charming place! From reservation to farewell, the service was fantastic & we were treated to incredibly good and very aesthetic food! I am a very big fan of Dory and you concept! But since the new Italian chef has been working there, I've become an even bigger fan of this Dory and you. Simply great!! 12/10 It was a wonderful evening with perfect food. The seasonal menu impresses every time I come by. The service is also phenomenal, even if it takes a while they come by and inform you about it. They also treat Karens professionally and always in a friendly manner. (By that I mean a rather unfriendly guest who was there at the same time as me and my partner) If you want extra cutlery, the request must also be expressed! Even if the service is really great, they can't read minds :) So again short and sweet: Top food, top service, easy to reach by public transport. Would recommend a visit to everyone :)

Really cozy inside and generally beautifully designed. The food is a little too “wanted” for me. With the “special” ingredients it looks as if it should be as “fancy” as possible. In terms of taste, it was a bit disturbing or undetectable. The staff was very nice and always asked about your well-being. However, we had to wait a long time for the bill, hence the service deduction. The price is also rather too expensive. Even 1L of still water with a little lemon 10.-.

Very good food, service and atmosphere

One of my favorites. FRESH FOOD, innovative menu, options for all. Perfect place for a date or a chic lunch. Pricey but worth it, the staff are usually passionate and fantastic. My only issue is that they stopped doing brunch which was outstanding and they are closed a lot! Other than that, a must if you are in Baden.

Very nice restaurant. Had dinner here, the place was already quite full, but the staff managed to find us two seats. As this might suggest they were really nice, and the food was also amazing. Overall a great experience.

It's been a long time since I've had such a bad price-performance ratio. The two of us spent over CHF 200 and it was below all expectations across the board. The food was bland and cheaply prepared. The service is not good enough for this price range. There will definitely not be another visit.

I had a fried fly in my meal, which I noticed about halfway through the plate. When I pointed this out to the waitress, my plate was cleared and the next course was served, which would actually have been my first. The meal was fully recorded on the receipt and when we asked them about it, they acted as if they had forgotten about it again and had to clarify whether they could do something about the price. I then had to pay for the meal in full, only an iced tea was taken off my bill. After 1.5 hours we were "kicked out", which is a shame given the price range. Unfortunately, probably never again.

We spontaneously visited Dory und Du and had a unique dining experience. Even though it was quite busy, the service was always attentive and friendly, available to answer any concerns. The food was sensational for both the eyes and the palate. Thanks for the lovely evening, great!

We came without a reservation, although the restaurant on the terrace was full, we were offered a table inside. We were told that it might take a little longer to order, which was totally fine with us... Well what can I say?! I'm thrilled with the restaurant, from the friendliness of the staff to the great, tasteful furnishings in which you feel very comfortable (that's why we were happy that we were allowed to eat inside) and finally the exceptional food, a real culinary delight :-) great creative and clear map! We will be back definitely! Ps: By the way, we didn't have to wait long for the orders even though the staff had initially informed us about longer waiting times... just great - compliments - keep it up!

I think a differentiated, objective assessment is appropriate; The price level definitely makes you expect more, especially since I'm used to it. However, in this price range I expect the food to be of appropriate quality, which I was bitterly disappointed with. For the main course “roast beef” for 44.- a bowl of water-drawn and poorly seasoned fennel salad was waiting for us, with the roast beef covered and presented floating in the water. The sequence of dishes up to dessert is served almost hastily without enough breaks in between, even though the two of us were about to enjoy a bottle of wine. The staff as well as the restaurant and its price level do not seem to be able to cope with demanding guests. In Ennetbaden, on a hill with a similar price level, the demands of paying clients are definitely better met. The staff is unable to accept constructive criticism and avoids it by turning away passers-by or pointing out that the table must be released again quickly for other reservations. I definitely refrain from recommending it. I can only explain the excess good reviews by saying that people no longer have any idea about quality and good food. As is the case in today’s “convenience food” world. At least the dessert was above average overall. Or did the kitchen simply fail that evening?

An enchanting restaurant that creates a feel-good atmosphere thanks to its modern yet classic interior design. The welcome was extremely warm and the service was very attentive and courteous. Be sure to start or end the evening with a drink, but definitely don't miss the drinks menu - both the alcoholic and virgin selections were absolutely great! The menu had something for every taste - whether meat, fish, vegetarian or vegan, no one was left out. The food was simply terrific and characterized by exceptional and well thought-out flavor combinations that left us with a sensational memory. From the starters to the desserts, an absolutely new and delicious eating experience. Absolutely recommended and would love to come back soon!

+ Facility + Crusty bread at the beginning + Amuse bouche + Warm chocolate cake - Price-performance wasn't right at all. Vegi platter for three people has 108! It cost 100,000 francs and there was very little in quantity and the taste was not good at all. Naan bread which we also ordered was charged an additional 6 francs (and was only recognizable as naan bread with a lot of imagination). We also had to pay 12 francs for tap water even though we ordered two bottles of wine for 62 francs each. - Waitress couldn't answer our questions about the dishes

Everything about this restaurant is wonderful. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing and beautifully presented. The company t-shirts are from Nikin so one tree is planted for every t-shirt purchased. The best part is when our waitress asked me if I wanted to take home the half of my dinner that I couldn’t finish. I was shocked that a restaurant in Switzerland would ask me that. Food waste has a huge environmental impact yet taking home one's leftovers in Switzerland is a very rare option. I really appreciate the environmental consciousness that the owners of Dory and Du have. I highly recommend eating here. I did not think it was overly expensive at all. 3 people had dinner, dessert, water and 6 cocktail drinks for 245 francs.

Great menu, great service, the Barique chardonnay was outstanding and the food has been a dream every time. The terrace is highly recommended in summer.

Cordon bleu was a bit dry. We had to leave at 20:00 and weren‘t allowed to order a dessert even though we had to wait for quite some time for our main course.

The food was dry (falafel) and came across like a normal veggie burger. Nothing special, unfortunately. The service was super nice. The restaurant entrance is not at all inviting and could use an update.

Perfect little place in Baden's "baths quarter", regional, socially and ecologically minded with a short but creative menu that caters to different budgets and tastes.

This restaurant offers great ambience, great service and really good food. For me it's clearly one of the top 3 restaurants in Baden. Pesto risotto came as a greeting, beef tartare as a starter and a delicious noodle bowl with a peanut sauce as the main course. I'll be back!

Sorry - nope. But never again. Unfortunately, ordering the tomahawk steak was really nothing more than a better shoe sole, and I can't find any more harmless words. The side dish we ordered was even forgotten. I then complained about this directly to customer service. There wasn't anything more than a "yeah, sorry, it's a shame for everyone" response. In the end I just felt a bit ripped off for the steep price of the steak of almost CHF 100.00. The 2nd star is only given because the service was otherwise really attentive and good.

Ambience great, food well… The location and the ambience are really great. The sweet potato curry was presented very nicely, unfortunately the taste was rather bland. The starter, lentil falafel, tasted ok, but at CHF 15.00 for 3 falafel it was a bit of a cheek. The service was friendly and efficient probably nothing for the very long waiting time (already over 1 hour before the starter).

Nice resti, far too little time for dinner (1.5 hours). Service was friendly and good, but due to lack of time, it was noticeably intrusive to clear the table. Tap water is totally exorbitant at 8.-/l and is a disgrace. The food was very tasty except for the glass noodles. It's a shame because of the stress, it ruins the experience.

My new favorite restaurant :) I first go to Therme 47 and then I have a nice drink at Dory und Du and eat a bao bun with pulled pork. The perfect feel-good program! Very nice restaurant, friendly service and an original menu with very fine dishes. I love it!
