This was our third visit in the last 5 years. The first two times it was ok. Unfortunately this time it was very bad. The restaurant was well filled. There were 6 of us and the boss came to our table and had zero patience to answer questions or take the order. Visited Dragon Palace with a colleague whilst staying in Zug on business based on TripAdvisor reviews.The food is good but not better than average compared to most high street Chinese restaurants in the UK and much more expensive.Perhaps it is unfair to judge against those in the UK or elsewhere but given the price it isn't very good value for money.I started with the hot and sour soup which was OK but not very hot. We shared a couple of main dishes vegetables and rice. Again the dishes were OK but no better than average.

We go here regularly, both for dining in and for take away. It’s probably our #1 visited restaurant in Zug. Love the fried shrimp appetizer, the dry fried chicken, the Szechuan pork, and we often get a noodle dish that isn’t on the menu. The folks that work there know us and are super friendly, always working through the inevitable language barriers between our English and the Swiss German they normally deal with. We love this place.
