We enjoyed an extensive, wonderfully prepared breakfast. The service was very nice and accommodating.

The brunch was very nice, there could have been more bread in my opinion, we were sharing a vegetarian brunch for 2 people and then ended up eating the avocado, cottage cheese, hummus and sun-dried tomato cream cheese with a spoon. The yogurt pot with granola and fruit was delicious. On the minus side: The coffee drinks were lukewarm and we ran out of water instantly which did not get replaced. So a bit of a disappointment but good food.

Lunch during the week. Simply good! Nice service! What more do you want!

Very tastefully decorated cafe. We immediately felt at home. Good products and friendly service. Since we only had something to drink, unfortunately I can't say anything about the food. But the card looked very nice.

Whether brunch, New Year's Eve menu or everything in between, the cable car is always worth a visit. Very good cuisine, first-class service and a good price/performance ratio characterize this sweet restaurant in the heart of St. Gallen. And in summer on the terrace under the trees it's pure romance!

I only know brunch as something in between breakfast and lunch. Since this wasn't even a "real" breakfast offering, it was unfortunately a little disappointing for me. I have to admit that for me breakfast includes fresh egg dishes, salmon, freshly squeezed orange juice and also coffee (and not exactly a little) However, these are not included in the steep price of 36chf per nose. For a bit of plaited bread, bread and croissants with confit, sausage and cheese, it's completely over the top. Even if the food is sourced regionally, in my opinion the price is disproportionate. Otherwise, the ambience is adapted to the location and harmonious. The service is more “familiar” than prompt (my breakfast egg was almost faster than my coffee), but that’s not a bad thing for a leisurely brunch.

Super cute cafe behind the 'monastery walls' in the historic old town of St. Gallen. Ambiance 1A - small and fine. We have arranged to meet for brunch (adults 36.-). The food was extremely fresh and tasty, there is nothing to complain about. But we think that for this steep price, coffee/hot drinks are allowed, as well as egg dishes. To be honest, we find it cheeky to charge for everything additionally.

We recently enjoyed a 3-course Advent menu at 'Drahtseilbähnli'. The food was delicious from A to Z, the staff was very attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. We also particularly appreciated that there was only limited space in the 'Drahtseilbähnli'. This meant that the noise level was more than kept to a minimum and people could converse at a comfortable volume, even though the restaurant was completely booked. An all-round great evening in the 'Drahtseilbähnli' - we would love to come back!

A breakfast with 2xCafe and egg dish for just under Fr.60.00 per person is too expensive. The quality of the breakfast corresponds to a usual hotel breakfast, nothing more.

Sweet little shop, made with love. Kaiserschmarrn was great, but the plates were a little too small for the German eye for the price. I would therefore recommend ordering a dish rather than a platter. But the quality was top notch

A wonderful place to sit in front of the waterfall, the food is delicious, and the prices are a little high. It is suitable for photography, and there is parking, but there is a charge for paying by the hours, very close to the coffee shop. Nice eara with near the water full and vary amazing food spicily for photographers

A really nice restaurant with very friendly service. We particularly enjoyed the excellent cakes and iced coffee on the terrace. I really appreciated the small glass of water with my coffee, but unfortunately it is no longer a given today. I will definitely come back, even for breakfast or lunch.

Super cute cafe. We were lucky and spontaneously got a table for brunch on Sunday. The staff is very friendly and we were well served. We have and for the small brunch for 16.- p./p. We decided and were allowed to fill our plates once at the buffet. That was absolutely enough for us, the price performance is great. Most of the products (cheese, meat, etc.) come directly from the region and everything was very tasty. A lot of things are homemade and the selection was very large and varied. It was very worth it.

It was super crowded that day. As soon as I finished measuring, the allowed sitting time was already over. So I didn't find the experience too thrilling.

Normally brunch should include a hot drink and a few vegetables wouldn't hurt either.

A really nice place. Nicely decorated. Nice and friendly service. You feel comfortable straight away. But… dear people. In my opinion, 98 CHF for 2x breakfast, 2 scrambled eggs with herbs and 4 drinks is simply excessive. That does not fit. Yes, as a German you sometimes have different ideas, but the comparison with the Swiss also reflected to me that the price was more than steep. We're not talking about an all-you-can-eat brunch where you can catch up again and again. The quality of the food is undoubtedly good, but the price/performance ratio doesn't fit at all in my opinion.

I had brunch for the second time. The buffet has everything you need. The food and drinks are very enjoyable. Gluten-free bread is also easily available upon request. The atmosphere is very cozy. The staff very friendly. We recommend!

I've been there twice for brunch and it's one of the best spots in St.Gallen for it. You can tell that the buffet is prepared with a lot of love. If you are sure that you want to have brunch there, you should make a reservation because otherwise it will be difficult to get a place, but it is possible! The offer is perfect for me personally. But my boyfriend wasn't the biggest fan because he's more of an eggs and bacon type instead of various types of cheese, delicious dips, avocado, etc. But of course he also found it very tasty. The service is very accommodating and always friendly and helpful :)

The chutney was very suitable and everything was on point with good cheese, fresh and juicy bread. In addition, the cappuccino is particularly recommended, really successful. We will be back.

Absolute favorite when it comes to brunch. We recently brought the brunch package home and it was fantastic as always. The cups were made with love and there was really enough for 2 people. We recommend!

Friendly welcome and service, fine and beautifully prepared mushroom cream soup received at 10 a.m. in the morning. The restaurant is located directly opposite the valley station of the Mühleggbähnli. Overall recommended.

We had breakfast at the cable car and it was amazing. It's been a long time since I've had such a great breakfast, which was probably made with a lot of passion. Very friendly staff, child-friendly and open. We liked it very much. Gladly again :)
