I've known the restaurant for years, when it was still called HAN. Then it was renovated and the name Genghis came along. It was briefly closed during Corona and afterwards, but has now reopened. It's a top restaurant and the food is very good. The only thing I find very tedious is queuing at the grill, where there is always a large crowd. Shortly after Corona, the restaurant changed this and you could attach a colored clothespin to the plate. Based on the color or number of this bracket, a waitress brought the finished plate to the table. I thought it was great at the time. Unfortunately, this is no longer done that way.

The restaurant was well attended. There were longer waiting times at the grill. The waiting area is too narrow. There is no logical system in the order with the plates handed out. It wasn't always clear whether you had really taken the right food with you. Colors or numbers might help. Friendly staff. It was very warm in the restaurant for the time of year.

The food was good. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not customer friendly at all. We had a voucher with us that expired 2 years ago (validity period according to Genghis is 2 years). We pointed out that this voucher is legally valid for 5 years and should therefore still be accepted.
