i really liked the visit! we felt very welcome. sadly our play time was cut short by a private matter- but we will definetely visit again!

Great place to learn about board games

I felt very comfortable at DuBischDra. There were 2 people who explained the games. The selection of board games was huge and even as an individual I quickly connected with other groups. Swiss German, Standard German and English were spoken. The entrance to the Auer & Co. Café is somewhat hidden in a backyard and DuBischDra takes place in a separate room in the café.

It's a shame most of the time it's closed and you're standing in front of closed doors. Not so nice because it's the only example café in Zurich, so you can expect it to be open all the time.

What a fantastic place. Great collection of board games - sensibly sorted and color-coded according to skill level so that you can quickly find your way around. We were warmly welcomed by the host and familiarized with the concept. You can also quickly connect with other groups and get to know nice people quickly.

What's better than playing in a cozy atmosphere surrounded by nice people, friendly staff and fine food... and depending on the game, there's also a special beer included.

Travelled 1.5 hours to see what this place was like. Planned my trip for Thursday as they are only open on Thursday and Friday during the week. Turns out they are closed. They have a notice on their door that they only open at 1700. They don’t have a phone number either, and google says they are open. After checking the website, I see that they have changed their times. Guys, please update your times in google… the new times are sadly even more restrictive so I doubt I will have the opportunity to come back.

They have a wide variety of games. The fact that you are allowed to play them all is a huge sign of trust.

My partner and I are very disappointed and we will not come again. No advisor in the store and no description of how the whole thing works. We then looked around on our own and played a game. We sat outside and we didn't know if the café next door was part of it. After 30 minutes the waiter finally came (there was nothing going on) and took our drinks order. Between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. there is nothing to eat except a small selection of ice cream. During the 2 hours we were there, we received no good advice, let alone warm service, from either the "Dubischdra team" or the "café staff". What we also find very bold is the 5 Fr. fee per person so that you can even play a game there. It would be more appropriate to charge no fee at all or, if so, only charge per table. The concept would be great but unfortunately nothing would be done with it. What a shame! We won't come back again.

Great selection, culinary excellence and competent gaming skills. The quarterly flea market is highly recommended. And the ground around the location is very suitable for a game of Mölkky ;-)

It's great that there is something like this in Altstetten! I'll be there more often!

Easily accessible by public transport, cozy space, great open people and a decent collection of games! The games are explained very well and you can always ask questions if necessary. Food is really good and is brought to your table! You can play as many games (within opening hours) as you want and the best thing: you only pay one entry, and it's VERY inexpensive! Full recommendation!

Good selection of different games. Whether it's a cozy game of cards with a beer after work or hours of strategy games. Everything is there. The prices are reasonable and communicated openly. Can only be recommended.

There are many games to be played, however being told only when leaving that the pure fact of being present costs Chf 10 per person is Ridiculous!!! Will Never return!

The best place in Switzerland to experience boardgames. They have a huge collection to choose from. Friendly stuff who's explain if help needed. While playing you can enjoy various drink's and finger food.
