Dunkin' Donuts in Basel

We ordered a chicken kebab bagel. Unfortunately no kebab in it. We are disappointed.

The donuts are excellent.😋 The condition is nice, especially the blonde glasses snake.🐍👓

Worst donut I've ever eaten. Should be crispy, but only tasted like oil and sugar. Either they can't make it or they're selling the donuts from the day before.

Took more than 10 minutes, forgot to give change and didn't remember the orders, very bad service!!!

Wanted to go out for donuts at 3 p.m. today! Door closed and a paper stuck on “come back in 40 minutes, thank you” Sorry but that doesn't work at all👎🏻👎🏻

According to the internet it was open but unfortunately I was faced with closed doors. I spontaneously wanted to get 20 dounat for a child's birthday. No notice on the door etc. Otherwise they are very good.

They have a lot of options for donuts, which is amazing. I also had the mango frappe, which was literally heaven on earth. Staff spoke English😁

The donuts are cute and pretty good (for an industrial company). If you want to eat something fun on the go or while walking, it's great.

Friendly staff, yummy donuts, what else can you ask for? This outlet is located perfectly, centrally on the Greifengasse. Another plus of this outlet is that it offers a few seats inside the store, perfect to have a coffee along with your donuts.

Food ok, negative vibe though for no milkshakes served as 30 mins before Close 23/03/23. Unfriendly lady serving. Won’t be back

Good and wide choice of donuts, they are all more different than each other. However, if you had to choose donuts in Basel, this is not necessarily the establishment I would recommend. But they are still good and worth trying!

If I could I wouldn't give it any stars. Slow and unfriendly staff. Plus, I didn't get what I wanted.

I think it's a shame that proper customer service no longer takes place. Ordering at the machine is very impersonal! The donuts aren't bad, but not my taste.

The best donuts I've ever eaten. The staff was extremely attentive, so much so that when the flavor donut I had requested was missing, they exchanged it for another one and gave me another one. The Ice Caramel Machiatto is delicious.

The most delicious and beautiful donuts! The store is on a very busy street. There are always many buyers. Friendly staff. Large selection of donuts. You can save when purchasing 6 pieces or more. Would recommend to all donut lovers!

Too small shop Sometimes long waiting times on weekends In the early days, donuts tasted much better and the selection did Today the stuffed dounts sometimes taste disgusting and extremely artificial E.g. the strawberry filling at Mr. Happy tastes like the cheapest Hero jam from the 80s🤢 Prices are high and it is also not possible to choose from the larger donuts, for example in a box of 6. The donuts for 5.90 are not even filled. We don't always go to DD, others have a better selection and taste Not recommended All artificial flavors, no real taste

The CronuDD (Cronut) isn't great and def. not worth the price. Also the Latte doesn't have a great taste, there are betters.

The closest to where I live and the saleswoman speaks French which is a big plus.

I think it is so cool to have dunkin' donuts in Europe, Basel. Small shop but you can have a lots of choices. Lately they give with frappe a cup holder, what is looks like a donut. I had a Raspberry frappe, small cup but it was still huge.

The donuts are very tasty. Unfortunately, the selection in this store is rather limited, which I think is a shame. At a price of CHF 18.00 for 6 pieces it is rather expensive. But you can't say anything about the taste.

Fine donuts taste great. Funny and colorful. It's a small snack shop that doesn't have much space. The service is great, they do their work with a lot of enthusiasm and friendliness.

The employees are nice but there is far too little choice, there are better ones in Coop for half the price. Was a bit disappointing :(

Hello to all, I will keep this as short as i can.. Dunkin donuts well as its named donuts is a highly supposedly sought franchise that doesnt really deliver. Yea sure they have good donuts but are they worth the prices? In my opinion they are not, also they have some offers wich i also think are too expensive. The people working there are very polite and the place is clean so thumbs up for that. Too bad it doesnt deliver!! If you really want donuts and dont care for the price i recommend it.

Good taste, plenty of choice. There is something here for every donut fan that is absolutely top notch in terms of quality. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the coffee, only the donuts are fabulous!

Donations are very varied. But it's always sooooo sweet. Specifically about the place - very walkable, somewhat uncomfortable.

Yum donuts The concept that I have to order on the left and then squeeze past those waiting to pick up the donuts on the right is a bit clumsy. But otherwise the store looks very tidy. The front area up to the counter is actually quite large, but it quickly becomes very tight if several people (approx. 6) are in the store at the same time. A “guidance system” could help.

Fun treats that young and old also enjoy. However, the prices, which in my opinion are too high, can be discussed.

Skip this and go to a bakery! Cheaper, better and not preprocessed-tasting. Skip this, to go to a DD in US or UK. Huge difference!!

The price here is a bit daunting, especially when you compare the donuts to those in the USA. Almost three times as expensive compared to e.g. with (Pennsylvania) and only half as tasty. Even if you take into account the high rents for bars and the wages of employees in Switzerland, in my opinion the high price is not justified.

The donuts themselves are very tasty and the selection is decent by Swiss standards (but no comparison to the Dunkin Donuts abroad). I also think it's a bit of a shame that the range doesn't rotate or change enough. The company would have a large pool of different varieties that they could access.

Not satisfied with either the quality or the taste. Many varieties taste the same, way too sweet and that's it.

Unfortunately the selection is rather limited. The donuts are good but unfortunately too expensive. Once again a typical American chain, which is far too expensive in Switzerland. Unfortunately, the finale is a bit small. Taste great price unfortunately flop therefore only 4 stars.

Honestly, my boyfriend and I were on a donut binge. We drove all the way to Basel to get some, since we know how good Dunkin Donuts are in the US. But here? It was just a let down, didn’t taste like a donut at all and even the filling isn’t generous. We bought a box of 12 for 30.-. It’s just too expensive for what it is. Back in London, we got Crosstown Donuts (best donuts ever if you ask me), a box of 6 high quality donuts, for under £10. Krispy Kreme were around £20 for a box of 12, which is still cheaper than DD, and they taste like real donuts. Donuts aren’t meant to be healthy, it’s a treat you indulge yourself in from time to time. Make Donuts great again!

I was pretty excited when DD opened their first shop here in Switzerland. But since we are all on the crazy health-train here I already expected that they won't taste the same like in the States. But it couldn't be that bad...could it? Yes....it could! The dough isn't the same at all like the ones in the USA. This one here is healthier, tastes not like a Donut. It tastes the same like any store-bought "Berliner" you can get anywhere here. That's not a Donut! Then the toppings. I ordered a Glazed Donut. In the states you'll need sunglasses to look at a glazed Donut....so shiny! But here...I almost couldn't see the sugar glaze. Thin...pale...it looked like it's sorry for itself! And then...these Donuts are not fried. They're baked.... so it absolutely cannot taste original. A real let-down. And 6.40 CHF for a glazed and a strawberry sprinkled Donut is just too much. Even for Switzerland. Dunkin Donuts Switzerland only has the name in common. At first glance it might look like the real thing. After the first bite you know it's not. I always preferred Krispy Kreme over DD, but I thought: Hey, better DD than nothing at all here in my country. But now I don't care if they disappear again. Maybe Krispy Kreme will open one day....offering the real thing. Only good part: Staff was fast and friendly!

I was really happy to hear that a Dunkin Donuts was opening here. I know the donuts from various major cities (Vienna, Berlin, Stuttgart, Frankfurt). Unfortunately, the store in Basel cannot keep up at all. The taste is not at all on the same level as the others and the price is far too high. (I'm happy to pay a decent price and don't expect German prices.) The selection was far too small at the time (perhaps many were already sold out) but the staff was very friendly.

Donuts are great, as long as you don't buy them until late in the afternoon. Then they don't taste quite as good anymore. PS: These are baked donuts. So they are basically a little drier than those fried in oil.

Brand new in Basel! Indeed, donuts are making their appearance in Basel with this charming little shop. The service is correct and the donuts are good. However, we will regret the lack of choice due to the novelty of the trade. To be followed closely.

The iconic chain opened its first branch in Basel in 2016. At the beginning there were queues, but now people go there more sporadically. For what reason? The calories! And the range of iconic coffees has expanded. But if you're in the mood for a donut, go to Dunkin' Donuts. They are delicious compared to their coffee. But as always, it's all a matter of taste.

I've been there once and can't quite understand the hype, the donuts aren't particularly good for the price. Of course it's a matter of taste but it's not my case.

Donuts are okay. But you can get equally good or better donuts for a lot less money.
