The Gasthaus Edelweiß offers the best price-performance ratio in Vals. The extremely warm and attentive staff welcomed us here for the third time. The house is centrally located on the idyllic market square. There is a parking lot right next door (5 CHF / day) and the free bus to the valley station or the thermal baths leaves right in front of the house. The rooms are simple and at the same time there is everything you need and everything is super clean and comfortable. Admission to the Felsentherme is discounted (CHF 50 / day). Dinner is wonderful - the fondue is the best I have ever tasted. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

We stopped there for dinner. A typical village pub, but much warmer. The food (once Cordon Bleu, once Pizokels) was fantastic and the service was extremely friendly. We felt very well looked after and would love to come back.

If you expect star cuisine, this is not the place for you. But if you expect good home-style, honest cuisine with warm service in this great environment and at a fair price-performance ratio, then you've come to the right place.
