Eggmittelberg in Reichenbach im Kandertal

We had dinner here and it was awesome! Fine food, originally served cheese fondue and an amazing view. Definitely worth a trip or overnight stay!

We stopped by for dinner here. The food was very good. Friendly, prompt and attentive service. Bread was even asked if we would like some more. The interior of the restaurant looks very well maintained, friendly, clean and bright. There is also a nice terrace to sit outside. But maybe not ideal because of the traffic. The price performance is good. The request as to whether it was possible to have pasta instead of rice was also answered in the affirmative without any problems. The only thing that is a bit difficult is the access from Spiez when a car train has just unloaded in Kandersteg.

Wonderful family run restaurant and Berghaus. The best sandwiches and chips but an extensive menu with wonderful salads and great service. One of our favourite places to visit in Switzerland. Worth a visit and the views are incredible. highly recommended
