We stopped by for dinner here. The food was very good. Friendly, prompt and attentive service. Bread was even asked if we would like some more. The interior of the restaurant looks very well maintained, friendly, clean and bright. There is also a nice terrace to sit outside. But maybe not ideal because of the traffic. The price performance is good. The request as to whether it was possible to have pasta instead of rice was also answered in the affirmative without any problems. The only thing that is a bit difficult is the access from Spiez when a car train has just unloaded in Kandersteg.

Rooms were clean. We had to leave very early in the morning so we asked if they can pack for us breakfast and they preapered great sandwiches with apple and orange juices. Very friendly staff. Easy parking. It was beyond expectation.

The room was nice, but a little hot, lack of electrical outlets and unpleasant smell in the bathroom due to the ventilation duct that connects to the kitchens. Regarding the cuisine, exorbitant prices for poor quality service. 64 chf for 2 cheese crusts, 1 coke, 1 glass of water and 1 pseudo mushroom crust and especially for the mushroom crust what we had ordered (we would have liked some mushrooms on the cheese crust instead of pork, but since the waitress didn't speak a word of English it was difficult to understand).
