The food was really nice, and the portions large enough for the price range. The waiter kept coming outside to check on us but kept a respectful distance throughout the meal. The atmosphere was alright I suppose, it was rather quiet but also friendly. There were wasps everywhere though, so yeah...

The place looks pretty and authentic, and the waitress was nice and kind. However, this can’t be considered Mexican food. Tried the burrito and tacos and unfortunately they were just bland and didn’t have flavour like you would expect Mexican food to be. It feels like an adaptation to the local preferences maybe.

Location itself is beautiful with a secluded garden. Food is also completely fine for lunch and the service is generally very friendly. However, there were very long waiting times - 20 minutes before we were even allowed to order, then another 15 minutes until drinks were delivered and another 15 minutes until food was served. Far too long for lunch, so we wouldn't eat here again.

The burrito was okay, but unfortunately we had to wait 40 minutes for it during lunchtime, which is definitely too long. However, the service was very friendly, but unfortunately we would not come back.

There is currently a major construction site right in front of the restaurant. Because of the construction noise, lunch in the garden is not recommended. Inside is also cozy. Burrito maxi with drink for 24.- I can recommend it

As a Mexican I can say that is REALLY HARD to find authentic food in Europe. I will never believed that I will find the best Mexican restaurant and it will be in Winterthur. Thank you.

The food seems delicious to me, but too expensive (50 fr for two micheladas and some enmoladas) with everything and the price standards that are used in Switzerland, I think they are a little high. We had two burritos (vegi and chicken) as take-out for 36.-. The service was very personable, but the burritos were a real disappointment. The taste was bland and inharmonious and tasted as if they were only seasoned with salt and pepper. Anyone looking for an authentic burrito here will receive the quality of a "Tres Amigos" product.

Went here for lunch the other day. I was in the neighborhood and looking for somewhere to eat. Saw this on google maps and figured: why not try it?! Based on the board outside it seemed like they had fairly decent prices too. Waking in it’s super cute. Decorations, paintings and the music were great! However there was only one other table which raised some suspicion… I opted for the enchiladas - maybe that’s where I went wrong here? The portion was large for Swiss standards. The plate consisted of 4 chicken enchiladas smothered in sauce. However, there were no sides or other salsas to add. And, I couldn’t even ask for more salsas since nobody came to check on me. The sauce was very pasta sauc-y. No kick to it whatsoever. The fun mexican spices seemed to be totally lacking. Despite not being the authentic mexican dish I was hoping for, it was still decent. That said, I wouldn’t write this place off just yet. I guess I should try the Burrito next time. Maybe then I’ll be feliz? p.s. Bonus points for having Negra Modelo! 😎

Really dissapointed. I ordered Tacos. Food was edible. Got 4 tacos (about 6cm) with 3 mini bowls. First bowl was sauce, I think it was Yoghurtsauce, 2nd bowl was some spicy sauce quite tasty and the third was a mix with tomato oregano oil and onions. The tacos were only filled with meat. The 3rd bowl was not even close to be enough to fill 2 tacos. The only good thing, was the branded IceTea I ordered. If u happen to stop by, think twice. There ARE better restaurants nearby. I just hope it just was a bad day. Wish u a good appetite tho if u eat there, I wish u the best. :)
