Thank you, Angel Restaurant. Your food and quality are just great. All your dishes are wonderful, each one is more beautiful than the other. The most indispensable thing for me is the angel pizza.

It's a pleasant, nice and decent place, the business is in a very elite environment, the food tastes amazing, the staff is very warm and friendly, I was very pleased.

Today I had lunch with my friends in this warm and friendly place. I want everyone to experience the amazing food, staff and high level service. I would like to thank the company and wish you continued success.

After a recommendation from a friend, I wanted to have lunch at Engel. Unfortunately, the boss's daughter scared me away twice so much that I left. The first time she said at 1:40 p.m. I could eat quickly, but they close at 2 p.m. (at the entrance it says “warm food until 2 p.m.”). The second time she snapped at me because I went to a free seat myself: “Have you reserved?” I hadn’t, but the seat I chose didn’t have a “Reserved” sign either. Then she would have had to remove a place setting from the two-seater table I chose because I was there alone. She also did that with a very sullen expression. I then went again - to the Migros restaurant in the golf park around the corner. We definitely won't be getting pizzas at Engel anymore, which we often did in the past because we live in the immediate vicinity. One more thing: So far everyone at Engel has always been very friendly. Only the boss's daughter makes an exception. A pity!

Not recommendable. Very unprofessional. Without asking, the plate is simply taken away, even though you haven't finished it yet and are still chewing. It was obviously an act.. Embarrassing older woman...

The best cordon bleu in the area.

Unfortunately the quality of the food has become very poor. We usually eat pasta. It was very delicious. The last three times we got small portions, noodles floating in oil, not many vegetables. We will not order it again and cannot recommend it.

We went to this restaurant on the occasion of a wedding vows. Warm and cozy atmosphere, excellent quality of food, fast, helpful and smiling staff. The owner is a really nice and professional person. I recommend going there and trying, among other things, the chicken in sauce, a real delicacy. Congratulations +++

Unfortunately, the service staff was totally unfriendly, unhelpful and arrogant. In addition, the choice of clothing was inappropriate as you could even see the service staff's bra. Plus we had to wait almost 1 hour for our chicken even though 30 minutes was stated. impudence. Plus our fries were simply taken from the table even though we weren't finished. Because of this experience I will definitely not visit this place again.

The owner and staff of the Turkish restaurant are very friendly people, I would definitely recommend them.

My visit to Restaurant Engel in Holzhäusen was a true revelation to my taste buds, and I can't say enough good things about it, especially when it comes to the chicken wings in a basket with house sauce. As soon as I entered the restaurant I felt transported to a cozy and warm atmosphere. The rustic ambience and warm welcome from the staff immediately made me feel relaxed and welcome. The restaurant's menu offered a wide selection, but when I saw the chicken wings in a basket with house sauce, I knew that was exactly what I had to order. And my expectations were exceeded! The chicken wings were perfectly prepared, crispy and juicy at the same time. The house sauce was a real treat and went great with the wings. A real taste explosion! The side dishes were equally impressive. Fresh vegetables and perfectly seasoned side dishes rounded off the dish and gave it a balanced variety of flavors. The service at Restaurant Engel was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly and competent. They took the time to answer our questions and made recommendations that contributed to our satisfaction. The portions were generous and I left the restaurant full and happy. The price-performance ratio was reasonable considering the quality and taste of the food. Overall, my visit to the Engel restaurant in Holzhäusen was a culinary experience that I will not soon forget. If you are looking for a restaurant that offers excellent food in a warm atmosphere then I highly recommend this restaurant. The chicken wings in a basket with house sauce are an absolute must and will pamper your taste buds. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We had a good lunch here from work. Decent menu and good quality food. Although there might be better places in the surrounding area, will definitely come again at Engel as they offer the more typical Swiss menu.

A visit to the Engel restaurant is always worth a visit, the service is competent and very friendly, the price-performance ratio is absolutely right, the food is great 👍 and the ambience is also great, I feel like I've been transported back to my youth 😍 So everything was great all around, we would definitely like to go back 🥰

Poulet im Chörbli is a must and very good, only the Haussauce could be more :).

We ordered a pizza margarita and a risotto con fungi, this risotto was simply great, value for money, delivery was quick and still very hot

Unfortunately the food was inedible. Cordon bleu was made in the deep fryer, too tough! Pizza was made with the “wrong” mozzarella and definitely not with Buffalo mozzarella (despite ordering it that way). Chicken breasts (3 pieces) were all small, barely 5 cm in size, totally hard and tough, the chicken house sauce and the Italian salad dressing were totally over salted. When we complained, the waitress said that they couldn't change the sauces (i.e. ready-made sauces) and that the other guests liked it! Neither the chef nor the boss bothered to speak to us! The waitresses are not attentive either. Absolutely not recommended! It's a shame this place used to be so good! A small plus point, the over-salted food was not charged for. It's a shame about the evening... If it were such a good restaurant, we wouldn't have spontaneously had room.

Cordon Bleu in three sizes, from veal or pork. There are two variations of the veal cordon bleu, classic or angel. Ketchup is only available in portions. It was our first time eating there and I will definitely try the risotto. Service was very nice, I can recommend it.

Very tasty Pasta Angels. Aromatically spicy and huge portion :-) The sparkling white wine is brilliant and the staff is very attentive. Can highly recommend it!

Monday pizza day - get good pizza with salad. Price - performance is right.

Food basically very good. Very bad only if you order via just.eat. After 1 hour And called for 10 minutes, then they said it was ready and there in 10 minutes, called again after another 30 minutes, then the food came. Live within 2 minutes walking distance....

Unfortunately very inconsistent, we have eaten very well but the last two times the quality was unfortunately unsatisfactory! The fries are always very good and the portions are very generous. Unfortunately the schnitzel was extremely dry and tough the last two times.

So value for money is not right for me. Apero only followed the meal mineral without gas was served by the glass, almost certainly from the taps 2× for 7.20. No staff in sight despite few guests. Cordon bleu for us, well I don't know if they came from the deep fryer and Parade had sesame or something in it which isn't for everyone either. Conclusion, it wasn't bad, but the price performance wasn't right and the staff can work on themselves

We were passing through and ordered a pizza from the takeaway. The service was friendly and the pizza was baked very quickly. I had a salami pizza with ham and onions. Unfortunately I had to remove the salami from the pizza because it didn't taste as good after baking. Other than that, a good pizza.

Even in these adverse times of Covid-19, the employees are doing an excellent job. We love the Cordon Bleu's and have never been disappointed. The delivery was always on time and we received friendly service. Keep it up!

War praktisch Stammkunde. Da der Chef auf Kritik allergisch reagiert, werde ich in Zukunft nichts mehr bestellen. Hat auch gemeint ich solle nichts mehr bei Ihnen bestellen. Ich finde es traurig Seitens des Wirtes. Kundenbindung ist was anderes und pampige Pommes krieg ich auch bei anderen. Das war auch der Grund für die Reklamation.

War jetzt nicht wircklich der Hit, hatte den Wochen-Hit zwar bestellt, aber leider Qualitativ mässig. Das Servicepersonal ist freundlich und bemüht. Preis ist angemessen. Werde es in naher Zukunft ev. Wieder probieren.

Per zufall über Google Bewertungen haben wir uns entschieden, in Engel Restaurant zu essen. Wir haben die Speisekarte schon unterwägs im Homepage angeschaut. Sehr ausführlich aufgeteillt. Der Local ist warm und Heimelig. Das Essen war top Wir wurden Gastfreundlich Empfangen und sehr freundlich Bedient. Danke!

Best Poulet im Chörbli mit hammermässiger Sauce dazu!

Mein 4 jährige Sohn reagierte allergisch zu die Pasta Bolognese, bekam viele Pickel und jückende Haut. Die restaurant war überhaupt nicht hilfreich. Obwohl ich habe oft gefragt die Stehlverträter sagte das die Sauce war frisch gemacht von Tomaten, Hackfleisch, Salz und Pfeffer und nichts mehr. Unsere Sohn ist nicht allergisch zu Tomaten.

Die Pouletflügeli mit der feinen Sauce sind jedesmal der Hit. Unbedingt die Suppe voraus nehmen die ist jeden Tag sehr fein

Das Essen ist sehr gut, aber am Sonntag kommt die Lieferung immer zu spät. Man wartet bei Vorausbestellung auf eine bestimmte Zeit bis zu einer Stunde auf's Essen. Wenn man anruft bekommt man keine verbindliche Antwort, wann die Lieferung kommt. Schade.

Der Ort ist sehr gemütlich, das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Essen war lecker von hoher Qualität und enormen Portionen!

Preise völlig ok. Fleisch trocken. Bedienung nicht sonderlich freundlich. Restaurant schlecht belüftet.

Nach dem Besuch rochen meine Kleider nach Friteuse. Essen 08/15. War satt, aber ein weiterer Besuch wird es nicht geben.
