Engiadina in St. Moritz

Durante le nostre vacanze nel mese di luglio a St. Moritz abbiamo cenato in questo tipico ristorante engadinese. Cena squisita.Personale molto cortese. Informati sulle esigenze alimentari, adatto per celiaci.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Notre chien aussi, une gamelle d'eau ainsi que des biscuits. Les serveurs parles français. Le service est très bienLa chasse était très bonne.

Wir waren im diesen Restaurant und können sagen Preis Leistung absolut top! Angefangen mit der Begrüssung und dem super Service. Es war bis auf den letzten Platz ausgebucht, aber die 2 Service Angestellten haben ausserordentliches geleistet, super freundlich und top. Wir hatten Schnecken, Wild, und das sehr gute Rinderfilet im Topf. Die Küche ist auch top und von hohem Niveau. Zum Glück kein Kaviar und anderer Schicki Micki, was es sonst in St. Moritz überteuert gibt. Wir werden jedenfalls sicher wieder kommen.

Excellent restaurant!Le restaurant se trouve éloigné de la ville. Le personnel est vraiment serviable et le service rapide.La décoration est simple mais on se sent bien.La nourriture est vraiment bonne, nous avons testé le tartare en entrée, la sauce piquante est à part ce qui est très bien pensé. Les côtelettes d’agneau et la brochette de boeuf étaient excellentes. Pour finir le strudel au pommes avec une glace cannelle pour finir en beauté, que je vous conseille de goûter!Ce fût une bonne découverte, allez-y les yeux fermés

Petit restaurant à l’écart du centre ville. Décoration simple. Très bonne cuisine. Service simple et efficace. Les prix sont corrects.

Tolles Ambiente, auxmerksame, liebenswürdige Chefin, sehr gute Bedienung, vorzügliche Küche. Gerne immer wieder!

Von aussen sehr einfach fast schon schäbig von Ihnen jedoch ein Juwel sowohl in Bezug auf Küche , Service , Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wie auch Ambiente. Wir kommen wieder!

Nous avons découvert ce restaurant via TripAdvisor et nous vous été très agréablement surpris pour St-Moritz. Ambiance familiale et cadre typique très joli petit restaurant. Le serveur était très sympa et efficace. Nous avons pris le filet de bœuf, viande tendre et excellente accompagnée de frites maison et d’excellents légumes. Seul hic, le filet de bœuf nous a été servi sans les beurres ( sauces) oubli en cuisine. Réservation nécessaire car le restaurant est petit. Nous recommandons ce restaurant avec des prix correct pour la région.

La fondue au champagne est top et le service est cool. Le dessert a ravi ma chérie. Très bonne surprise pour St Moritz.

Wir waren zum 1.Mal im Engadina mit Freunden zum Abendessen und wurden sehr positiv überrascht.Ein tolles Lokal,schön gelegen oberhalb des St.Moritzersees.Von Vorspeise bis Dessert waren alle Speisen sensationell.Das Essen ein Genuss.Man merkt das hier mit Liebe gekocht wird.Die Wirtin und auch der Kellner, welcher uns bediente,waren super nett und freundlich.Fazit: Wenn man einen gemütlichen Abend mit gutem Essen verbringen möchte,unbedingt hier her kommen!

Der Service ist unglaublich freundlich!! Das Essen sehr sehr lecker - von Vorspeise bis Dessert! Preis-Leistung perfekt! sofort wieder...

I think this is my first bad review for any restaurant, as it is pretty difficult for me to be harsh but here it was really a disaster. We booked the table in advance and when we arrived we were seated after waiting a short time while the waiter was preparing the table. Already while being seated we felt that the waiter was not very friendly. But then the show started: we were ignored for 15 minutes to get even the menu! After waiting 10 minutes we made our orders and got our drinks served in another 15 minutes, but all our drinks were wrong! Overall we waited 40 minutes to get our drinks (from the moment of sitting down)! Then we got the bread after 45 minutes since we arrived and starters which were ok(barley soup was good). But then we had to suffer a bit to get the main, again 40 minutes of waiting after getting the starters. And that taken into account that the restaurant was getting pretty empty(of course, as we waited almost during the whole evening). The main dishes were nothing special, but too greasy to my liking. Once we received the bill, the waiters suddenly disappeared and we couldn’t even find them in the restaurant anymore, so we had to wait to pay. We are by all means not snobs and usually very forgiving but this here was too disappointing to stay calm.

Wir waren das erste Mal hier und sind begeistert. Super Service und hervorragendes Essen. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

We were on a group tour and was booked into this Italian restaurant. You could see a beautiful view of the mountain and lake from the outside of the restaurant. It is cosily decorated with wooden tables and chairs. I had the risotto, lamb chops and blueberries with vanilla ice cream - it was all delicious indeed. Service was very nice and friendly.

Personale molto simpatico e disponibile, vista gradevole. I piatti sono molto abbondanti, sono pronti in circa 20 minuti (con ristorante semi vuoto). Peccato per la strada vicino al ristorante ma non disturberà la vostra permanenza. Consiglio vivamente per chiunque!!

Ottimo ristorante tipico Engadinese , ottima accoglienza e simpatia del personale . La carne fantastica visto il fratello avere la macelleria a Sankt Moritz.

Mit der ganzen Familie feierten wir unsern 30.Hochzeitstag im Engiadina. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich un kompetent. Die Menüs waren ausgezeichnet und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl.

Auch in unseren Skiferien 2020 besuchten wir das Engiadina. Ist bei uns schon fast Tradition. Immer noch sehr kompetentes und freundliches Personal. Das Essen ausgezeichnet. Was will man noch mehr.

Wir haben das Restaurant neu entdeckt und gingen in derselben Woche gleich ein zweites Mal vorbei. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, das Essen hervorragend und auch mit Kindern ist man sehr willkommen. Einzig ein Wickeltisch habe ich vermisst, aber sonst würden wir jederzeit wieder hingehen.

Vom Schneesturm in die Warme Beiz! Die Atmosphäre ist schweizerisch, Essen ist gut und die Preise fair. Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Reservieren ist ein Muss!

Obwohl wir schon oft im Winter im Engadin waren, besuchten wir gestern zum ersten Mal dieses Restaurant in der Nähe des Bahnhofs von St. Moritz.Eine ausgesprochen gemütliche "urchige" Stube, die eine gewisse Wärme und Athmosphäre ausstrahlte.Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, gab uns der sehr nette Kellner einen schönen Tisch, direkt am Fenster,Die Speisekarte ist reichhaltig, mit vielen interessanten Gerichten.Meine Frau entschied sich für ein Pasta Gericht und ich wählte den Veltliner Rinderschmorbraten an Polenta.Das Fleisch war sehr zart und mundete sehr gut. Auch meine Frau war mit ihrem Gericht sehr zufrieden.Wie gesagt, der Kellner war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und arbeitete zielorientiert.Einen Besuch dort kann ich wärmstens empfehlen.Preise im Rahmen.bdzons

We came here for Valentine's Day, which is an important holiday for us but just like any other day for most Europeans and the staff at this restaurant. However, we enjoyed our celebration.The restaurant was not busy when we arrived, but by the time we left, every table was taken. Our meal was delicious, but we most enjoyed our service from our delightful waiter, Antonio, who is Portuguese.The atmosphere is charming. Though it is right off the lake, I don't recall there being much of a view.

Soirée gourmande et très sympathique , Un peu à l'écart de l'ambiance snob du centre ville . Je recommande vivement.

Restaurant is small and uncomfortably noisy. To go to the restroom you need to go across the restaurant’s kitchen! The food is average as is the wine menu. Beware when paying your bill. They charge in Swiss Francs, that’s ok, and accept Euros, but the exchange rate is on a 1 to 1 basis, which is unfair, arguing that this is the convertion rate in their restaurant. There are better choices in Saint Moritz.

Sehr gemültiches Restaurant. Gute und vielfältige Auswahl an Menues. Sehr fein gekocht. Freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wer traditionelles Essen möchte, bekommt das im Engiadin. Die Schnecke war gut. Thunfischtatar war ok. Fondue war nicht so toll Der Service war jedoch ausgezeichnet

O restaurante Engiandina é charmoso, tem um atendimento vip em português, o dono fala portugues, muito atencioso . Cardapio variado, e gostoso . Foi o nosso melhor fondue em St Moritz! Final de semana, a noite aconselho reservar .

Locale molto carino e curato, posizione strategica proprio di fronte al lago. Cibo buono, dolci fantastici! Un particolare apprezzamento nei confronti del personale, gentilissimo e ben preparato!

We went to Sankt Moritz for a day trip and wanted to have a cozy and not too expensive lunch, so we chose Engiandina restaurant. It perfectly matched our expectations,as we had a juicy pumpkin soup and 2 lovely wienerschnitzels with fries + beer and the bill was fairly good considering average prices of the location

Abbiamo ordinato una fonduta per il tavolo, un piatto di pasta da dividere in tre, due creme di zucca, tre cordon bleu, due costine di agnello e un piatto di pollo per la bimba. I piatti sono arrivati tutti un po a caso, quando pronti diciamo, e la fonduta è arrivata allo stadio iniziale prima che si sciogliesse bene bene il formaggio, perdendo un po di sapore. Non abbiamo mangiato male (neanche bene), ma non ci torneremo soprattutto per un servizio che abbiamo trovato lento, invadente e che ha portato vitello invece che pollo per la bambina (giustificandosi poi che si tratta di carne della miglior qualità).Noi di solito diamo importanza soprattutto al cibo, ma se già il cibo è dimenticabile, bisogna migliorare il servizio.

Ho pranzato in questo ristorante il 26 Dicembre, e devo dire che la cucina mi ha sorpreso in quanto tutto quello che ho ordinato, era davvero delizioso e ben presentato. Peccato per l’acqua filtrata, avrei preferito una bottiglia in vetro con il suo bel tappo visto il prezzo del servizio, pur consapevole di essere in svizzera. La location è carina anche se per i miei gusti sarebbe da rimodernare. Il sevizio è ben curato ed i camerieri sempre molto gentili e disponibili.

Restaurant seems to be very cute with nice atmosphere. A bit small but it deos have tables for larger groups of 10 people.Stuff speaks English, German and Italian (sounds like native). The kitchen is open during entire day so lunch has no 14:00 restrictions.Also it offers food with Tartufi and home mate pastries.Zürich geschnetzeltes is very good and can only recommend.

Posto bello e caratteristico. Vicino alla stazione. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Cibo ottimo atmosfera eccellente. Eravamo in 17. Servizio veloce e organizzato. Consigliatissimo

Tried out this restaurant based on reviews, unfortunately quite disappointing. The small restaurant makes it extremely noisy. Super warm, so we were sweating and asked several times to please open a window. The service was bad, not because the waiters were unfriendly, but because they were understaffed. The friendliness of the waiters are the only reason a second star is given. Our meat was cold when it arrived. All in all, the rest of the food was not bad, but nothing out of the ordinary.

We use trip advisor often when we travel and it is amazingly accurate as it was with Engiadina. From the very moment we drove up, our waiter, Anton, helped my park in the snow. Food, service, ambiance was perfect. It’s def family friendly but has excellent food across the board. Highly recommend.

Auf dem Weg nach Tirano mit dem Bernina-Express sind wir im Engiadina eingekehrt.Das Lokal hatten wir vorab übers Internet ausgesucht, da es für schweizer/St. Moritz-Verhälnisse bezahlbares Essen anbietet.Das Restaurant liegt etwas abseits mit Blick über den See. Daher wählten wir einen Tisch außen.Der junge Mann vom Service (Besitzer ?) war flott unterwegs. Schon nach kurzer Zeit konnten wir Getränke bestellen und in der Speisekarte blättern.Die von uns ausgesuchten Suppen kamen sehr zügig.Sie waren von ausgezeichneter Qualität und schmeckten ebenso. Die Gerstensuppe war zwar für uns Norddeutsche ungewöhnlich mit Sahne angemacht, aber sehr lecker.Der Service war von ausgesuchter Kundenfreundlichkeit und Höflichkeit. Z.B. wurde - ohne besondere Aufforderung - der kleine Reiseaschenbecher meiner Frau geleert. SO muss Service.Das Parfait zum Dessert (nur 1 wg. der Schweizpreise ;-)) war ebenfalls sehr gut. Zart schmelzend und nicht zu süß.Wenn wir mal wieder in St. Moritz sein sollten, besuchen wir gern wieder das Engiadina.

Estivemos aqui por indicação do concierge de nosso hotel e adoramos o restaurante. É lindo, romantico, aconchegante. Se você gostar de caminhar, dá para ir andando desde o centrinho.O fondue estava divino e fomos atendidos por um português muito simpatico e atencioso (cujo nome, me perdoe, esqueci de anotar). Ele fez com que a experiência fosse ainda mais bacana.Esperamos poder voltar em breve.

The porcini soup was excellent. Also the veal liver on request served with well prepared spinach was exactly right. The „Hirschpfeffer“ had the right taste from the various herbs and the späzli were home made.Service was very friendly. Will recommend this place.

Nous sommes allés 2x dans ce restaurant tellement c’était délicieux! Service chaleureux et recommandation: la marmite, terrible!

Angefangen beim sehr sympathischen, aufmerksamen und hoch professionellen Service, über den leckeren Wein (wir hatten einen Chianti aus der Empfehlung) bis hin zum hervorragenden Essen, alles war zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Wir assen den gemischten Salat (dieser hätte zwar etwas üppiger ausfallen dürfen, war aber lecker) und die Bündner Gerstensuppe (meeeega lecker) zur Vorspeise und das Züricher Geschnetzeltes (Rösti 1A) und die Ravioli des Hauses (sehr gute Portion; Fleischfüllung mit Rahmsauce, Steinpilzen und Spinat) zur Hauptspeise. Die Gäste am Tisch nebenan hatten das Château Briand bestellt, sah hervorragend aus. Werden wir gerne beim nächsten Mal probieren. Wir können das Engiadina nur weiter empfehlen.

Atmosfera, buon vino e ottimo cibo fanno di questo posto un angolo di benessere a Sankt Moritz! Buonissimi i salumi, la carne e gli sciatt.. anche lo strudel e i gelati!

After a week in St Moritz, we got a pretty good feel for the place. There isn’t much to choose from in the mid range category beyond pizza and very casual places, and frankly everything is expensive in St Moritz. Engiadina was by far the best mid-priced dinner we found. It is at the high end of that price range, but Engiadina was comparable to the higher priced dinners we had. It is traditional European, which means Swiss, German style food with a little Italian tossed in.

Il locale si trova vicno alla passeggiata sul lago,posto veramente bello ,i due camerieri gentilissimi e simpatici.Abbiamo ordinato risotto con sassella e speck ,gnocchetti entrambi squisiti a dir poco.il prezzo....siamo a St. Moritz.

Wir haben an einem Samstag Abend für 6 Personen relativ spontan noch einen Tisch reservieren können. Nach dem Eintreffen im Engiadina wurden wir zügig mit Apero und Speisekarte bedient. Die Vorspeisen und die Hauptgänge wurden alle miteinander serviert. Mein Wiener Schnitzel war hauchdünn, zart und saftig. Die Pommes frites waren knusprig wie es sein muss. Auch meine Freunde waren allesamt begeistert von der Qualität der Speisen. Der Service war den ganzen Abend present, wenn es nötig war und sonst unauffällig. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Abend!

Excellent restaurant. Un service très gentil, respectueux et très professionnel. Tout est propre, bien disposé, de vraies serviettes en tissu. Et que dire de la cuisine : un délice ! C'est du fait maison ! BRAVO !

Ci fermiamo per caso, per un rapido pranzo. Ci sediamo all’esterno, ordiniamo due tartar come antipasto, che per quantità possono tranquillamente essere paragonata ad una portata principale. Ottime. Siamo di fretta, chiediamo due mousse al cioccolato, ma nel frattempo il tempo cambia; ci spostiamo quindi all’interno, per completare il pranzo. Le mousse erano semplicemente memorabili. Una menzione al servizio, veramente professionale e attento. Bravissimi. Conto finale adeguato. Torneremo con più tempo.

Al momento dello scontrino mi è sembrato caro,ma poi pensandoci bene visto la qualità la quantità e la location sono stati soldi ben spesi.Consigliato!

We celebrated our granddaughter’s birthday and had an excellent dinner. The atmosphere is cozy. The trout and fondue were both excellent. What was exceptional was the special attention that was given to our granddaughter by our wait staff. Antoni was so warm! Overall an excellent experience to be recommended.

Ausgezeichnetes Restaurant mit einer Mischung aus typisch schweizerischer / italienischer / französischer Küche und lokalen Gerichten, perfekt zubereitet und mit Flair und charmanter Feindseligkeit serviert.Wir hatten Schnecken als Vorspeise und Käsefondue mit Champagner, perfekt glatt und schaumig und serviert mit Kartoffeln, Brot, süß-sauren Zwiebeln, Gurken und Tomaten als Hauptgericht. Als Dessert wählten wir Vanilleeis mit Braulio (ein lokales Kräuterlikör) und einem Semifreddo-Parfait mit Keksen. Alles war nahezu perfekt, ebenso wie die dazugehörigen lokalen Weißweine.Essen in der Schweiz ist im Vergleich zu den Nachbarländern nicht besonders günstig. Dieses Restaurant ist keine Ausnahme, aber von den fünf Orten in Genf, Montreux und Straße. Moritz, wo wir während eines kurzen Aufenthalts in der Schweiz zu einem ähnlichen Preis zu Abend gegessen haben, war mit Abstand der beste.

My wife and i visited on a ski vacation in March. Our emailed reservation was lost in the shuffle, but the head waiter was very accommodating and so very friendly. We felt very welcome. Very traditional venue with light wood walls. The rest of the staff was just as helpful, with good humour. We were going to order the veal, but the waiter directed us elsewhere. My wife had the deer sliced with a mushroom sauce. I was talked into the veal cheeks, also with a dark sauce. Both were fantastic. The veal was marinated two days in red wine. We both finished our plates clean.Fantastic experience.

Our group had dinner here. I had their ravioli, cheese fondue and fresh blueberries with ice cream.Excellent and warm service. The servers were attentive and made us feel at home. One of the best restos I’ve eaten in this trip. Highly recommended.

Das Essen sehr gut und Traditionell, gute Auswahl und Preis Leistung gut. Ein sehr schönes Ambiente, sehr schöne Einrichtung mit viel Holz und sehr traditionell.

Domenica a St. Moritz.2 primi piatti a testa, 1 acqua, 2 caffè, un dolce in 2 = 56 euro.Tutto super buono però! Poteva andare peggio!

This was one of my favorite meals on our trip. Atmosphere, service, food, and wine were great! I would absolutely come again.

Ogni anno che passiamo per St. Moritz, non può mancare una serata al ristorante Engiadina.Locale accogliente e tipico.Staff gentilissimo e attento.Per me la Fondue classica del Engiadina é la migliore del mondo! Ottime anche le carni e i dolci!

Le restaurant est décoré en parfait style engadinese. Le service est attentif et courtois. Les mets de bonne qualité et le prix, pour St. Moritz est correct. Très agréable soirée en amoureux.

Wie immer in unseren Skiferien im Engadin machen wir einen Abstecher in das Engiadina. Auch dieses Mal war das Dinner wie auch der Service sehr gut. Können es gerne weiter empfehlen.

Quando son a Sankt Moritz vado spesso all'Engiadina. Si mangia bene e il rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. A Sankt Moritz in un attimo si possono spendere cifre molto importanti. Il mio piatto è la fondue di formaggio. Buonissima. Il locale è semplice tipico da montagna. E' a pochi metri dal whisky bar dell'hotel Waldhaus dove c'è la più vasta gamma di whiskey d'Europa. Generalmente finisco li la serata.

Nice restaurant , the staff is extremely helpful and welcoming The food is amaizing. One of the best rizotto.. Great place with good service and tasty authentic local cuisine .... a must try !!!The prices are in the St Moritz range

We went for lunch after visiting the previous evening a more famous restaurant of the same type in St Moritz - Chesa Veglia. Although the ambiance is not that amazing, I found the food just as good at Engiadina. We had in both places the venison steak and it was comparable. The fondue was also excellent and came with many pickled veggies, boiled potatos and bread (all incl. in the price) The bill for 4 people was abot 230 Chf ( just mains, no starters; 1 dessert, 3 glasses of wine).

locale caratteristico e pulito a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione del famoso trenino Rosso del Bernina, staff gentile e cordiale, camerieri italiani..antipasti e primi davvero molto molto buoni, la fonduta personalmente non mo è piaciuta, ma è una questione mia di gusto, non mi piace il sapore del formaggio utilizzato, al mio compagno è piaciuta molto!!! il prezzo pagato alto, ma negli standard di Sankt Moritzlo consiglio!!!

Ein zu empfehlendes Restaurant. Der Service war top, die Speisen waren alle sehr gut und das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich. Wir kamen ohne Reservation ins Restaurant und wir wurden umgehend an einem netten Tisch platziert. Gerne wieder und weiter so!

This restaurant is by far one of the worst we have ever visited. The food might not be bad but the service is beyond worst. If you don’t have nerves of steel definitely avoid it. Ps writing from the restaurant still waiting for our main course after 1.5 hours

Da bravo Friborghese, ovvero da dove arriva la vera fondue al formaggio, sono molto critico per questa delizia e devo dire che quella del ristorante engiadina mi ha sorpresa. Ho dubbi che sia solo gruyere della regione di st Moritz (???) come mi è stata presentata però era gustosa e facilmente digeribile . Nessun problema per trova un piatto gustoso per un celiaco . Accoglienza gentile cortese simpatica e tattica :)

Siamo stati molto bene in questo ristorante, accolti bene e fatti sentire a casa. Molto buoni anche i piatti, in particolare il roesti. È consigliabile prenotare. I prezzi sono svizzeri, ma si mangia molto bene e si viene accolti molto bene. Consigliatissimo.

Heerlijke lokale specialiteiten geserveerd in een sfeervol restaurant door zeer vriendelijke obers. Voor ons was het de eerste keer in Engiadina, maar het was zeker de moeite waard om nog eens te komen. Reserveren in de drukke periode is ook zeker aan te raden. Parkeren kan in de buurt.Het restaurant heeft een typisch alpiene atmosfeer en op de menukaart staan typisch zwitserse (lokale) lekkernijen. Het was nog niet makkelijk kiezen. We waren vooral erg te spreken over de bediening, de heren waren bijzonder aardig en attent en hadden ook een goed gevoel voor humor. We komen nog eens.

Siamo stati al ristorante Engiadina durante il nostro viaggio sul Bernina EXP!! Tutto squisito, dagli antipasti (sciatt e tomino con mantello di speck) ai primi (gnocchi con crema di verza e speck) ai secondi (tagliata). Siamo stati serviti ed aiutati nella scelta da Albino..cameriere davvero gentilissimo e molto preparato. In ogni caso tutto il personale è gentile. Prezzi nella media di S. Moritz. Posizione tattica se si scende dal Bernina EXP!!!

Выбрали по отзывам на Tripadvisor. Еда вкусная, обслуживание хорошее. Все столы были заняты. Больше всего понравилось приготовление мяса тут же в печи (сидеть возле нее очень жарко).

すぐ坂の上のホテルに宿泊していてディナーで利用しました。スイスの郷土料理を中心に季節のメニューもあります。今回はスイスの地方料理の大麦のスープとトナカイのタルタル、お店の名物のホームメイドラビオリを注文しました。どれも滋味深くて素朴で美味しかったです。リゾート価格ですが立地柄仕方ないと思います。小さな子連れで伺いましたがキッズチェアと塗り絵を用意してくれました。サービスもキッズフレンドリーで良かったです。

Spettacolare accoglienza e disponibilità. Abbiamo prenotato con breve anticipo e, nonostante fossero già pieni, hanno fatto l’impossibile per farci un posticino. La cena è stata semplice, senza fronzoli e di ottima qualità. Ringraziamo ancora l’accoglienza che è stata calda quanto il posto

A warm and cozy family run establishment where the staff is extremely helpful and welcoming .... we started with the Escargot and the Beef ravioli .... the Escargot was spot on and so was the ravioli .... the fondue was also very authentic and a healthy portion, the chateaubriand was good but we had asked for medium and it came rare and we had to send it back to get cooked a bit more which they were super helpful and accommodating with ..... suggestion would be if you want it medium ask for medium to well because I think the locals like the meat on the rarer side .... all in all a great place with great character and tasty authentic local cuisine .... a must try !!!

Tolles mit Herz geführtes Restaurant in St. Moritz mit gut bürgerlicher Küche. Das Restaurant ist an Top-Lage neben dem Bahnhof und dem See. Das Essen ist vorzüglich zubereitet und mundet ausgesprochen. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und herzlich. Die Preise (vor allem für den Wein) sind für St. Moritzer-Verhältnisse fair. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Locale molto accogliente, caldo e arredato nello stile tipico del luogo. Quando siamo arrivati il tavolo non era pronto, perché avevano fatto accomodare una ragazza che desiderava un pranzo veloce. I camerieri sono stati comunque gentilissimi, ci hanno spiegato la situazione e si sono scusati, ci hanno addirittura offerto la birra! In realtà abbiamo aspettato solo cinque minuti :) fonduta davvero buona e abbondante. Ci tornerei volentieri!

I came to the restaurant with my husband and one teen daughter for lunch. I ordered one portion of traditional fondue (which I saw it is fit for 2 people), one portion of gnochi and 3 glass od water. The waiters brought us one very big portion of fondue and the gnochi. I thought, wow it was too big, too much even for three of us. And taste so average. But kept trying to enjoy the meals. We didnt even unable to eat all of them. The bill came for 3 portions of traditional fondue, 1 gnochi and 3 glass of water. It cost CHF 124. The restaurant doesnt have a good view. Small, and they close every window with curtain. Other nearby restaurant, which has similar menu, with similar price, has big windows and very good view to the lake.

Best part of the meal was the Deer steak, it was very tasty, The prawn aglio olio also nailed it. However, we came for the cheese fondue but were not accustomed to the local recipe of strong wine taste in the fondue - unfortunately we did not enjoy it as much as we anticipated. Overall, the service was excellent and the food was enjoyable, however pricey and overrated according to the other reviews we saw about this.

Lovely quaint restaurant close to our hotel Waldhaus Am See - the steaks we ordered were beautiful - there is very little for children unfortunately and this was a big negative - the staff are super friendly though - just get a children's menu in and it would be perfect

Prima volta al rinomato ristorante per la fondue. Il locale è carino e accogliente. Il personale molto gentile e affabile. La fondue classica è buona ma nella norma. Particolare invece è la conposizione, che è di Emmental stagionato 7 mesi invece della solita miscela Vacherin/Gruyere..

Immer wieder spitze bei Marianne und Team! Alle Jahre wenn ich an meine alte Wirkungsstätte zurückkehre um meine Freunde zu besuchen gehen wir jedes Mal ins Engiadina und wurden immer bestens bewirtet und nie enttäuscht!

Spontan entschieden lecker essen zu gehen. Toller Service, ausgezeichnetes Essen in harmonisch warmem Ambiente. Bravo, alles erfüllt, wir kommen wieder!

Sterne hat es keine aber gestaunt haben wir trotzdem. Seit vielen Jahren ausprobieren sind wir der festen Meinung, im besten und freundlichsten Restaurant in St. Moritz gegessen zu haben. 100 Punkte, allerbeste Empfehlung!

Wir waren spontan im Dorf und hatten Appetit auf was Süsses Der Kellner begrüsste uns freundlich, begleitete uns zu einem freien Tisch. Warmer Apfelstrudel mit selbst gemachter Vanillesauce. Mein Freund bestellte Zimteis. Sehr sehr lecker!! Preis-Leistung ebenfalls absolut top!

Una cena deliziosa a base di fondue, per mio marito in versione senza glutine e ravioli buonissimi per nostro figlio oltre a un Buendnerteller per tutti e tre. Il locale è tipico ed offre sia la cucina grigionese che italiana, non è lontano dalla stazione di St.Moritz ed ha una bella vista sul lago.

Sehr schönes, gepflegtes und gemütliches Restaurant mit grosser Auswahl. Alles frisch und geschmackvoll zubereitet - sehr faires Preis-Leistung Verhältnis. Super freundlicher, speditiven, professioneller und herzlicher Service, der als Team toll zusammen arbeitet. Wir waren begeistert und der Abend im Engiadina bleibt in bester Erinnerung.

Siamo stati con degli amici e relativi figli d 5 anni. Ottimo cibo ed ottima atmosfera. Prezzi svizzeri quindi un pochino più alti rispetto ai ristoranti italiani ma ne vale la pena.

Visitted St.Moritz in Oct (low season) Dal Mulin and some top restaurant are closed. Found this to be the #2 restaurant in town. And it did not disappoint. The wiener schnitzel is great! And the prawn aglio olio has a deliciously strong prawn broth. Also ordered deer steak , sliced deer meat with cream, and beef sirloin steak. Deer steam was good , especially the creamy one. Beef was okay (not the best).All in all the wiener schnitzel , deer n cream sauce, and prawn aglio olio nailed it.Service is awesome! the waiter was very attentive, funny & does not even feel bothered despite some of us having issue with language barrier.5/5 will come back!

This is a wonderful restaurant with great food.The waiters are lovely and very friendly.The best thing is the food the homemade ravioli are fantastic.We come back again.

Went here upon recommendation of our hotel staff. The atmosphere is relaxed with a great energy. The menu is superb offering a great range for all tastes. The wine list is extensive and includes local wines as well. We both had beef dishes, which was cooked to perfection. The sides offered were delicious and very compatible. We both decided that we would go all out and have dessert as well. The result was magnificent.

Seit Jahren die gleichen Kellner, immer sehr freundlich, fröhlich, interessiert, zuvorkommend trotz vollem Restaurant. Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre, super Speisekarte und top Qualität zu guten Preisen.

Redelijk goed gegeten tegen een redelijke prijs. Niet alles wat op het bord lag was van de juiste kwaliteit (pommel frites) maar werden na een klacht snel gewisseld voor een heerlijke gratin. I saan te bevelen.
