Found this restaurant on Google. I've been here six times. There are new surprises every time, different dishes to try. Very welcoming, I love it here, I love their team atmosphere. My absolute favorite restaurant. This year alone I have been able to enjoy it twice and eat very tasty dishes here. Anyone who has seen the film Ratatouille will immediately feel like Remy and experience real fireworks with every bite. The ambience with the great and impressive photos as well as the warm-hearted staff are “the cherry on top”!

We have been here several times. I have rarely eaten so well - especially vegetarian food. Despite the very relaxed, rather alternative atmosphere, you quickly notice that the chef is a master of his art.

The idea of mixing food cultures and tastes and to encourage the customers to try new dishes is always welcome . Unfortunately in this case is poorly executed and also at a really high price. The atmosphere is realxed but the environment is a patchwork. The food was a huge disappointment : the pastinaca soup was incredibly salty, the paneer was comparable to something I could cook at home, the sashimi in yuzu Bouillon was good, the risotto and sauce that came with the chicken was so salty that I couldn't eat it, the aubergine piccata was almost raw ( Raw aubergines really taste bad), the chees was good ;) . Wine and drinks were nicly choosen. Service was friendly . Prices not proportioned to the offer (200 CHF x 2 person 3 small entries each). I am not sure to be brave enough to give it another chance .

We had the New Year's Eve menu and it was very good! 1x with 6 course menu meat/fish with wine accompaniment 1x vegetarian 6-course menu All courses were absolutely perfectly prepared and tasted an interesting excursion. At first I was worried that there wouldn't be enough on the plates. However, this was my misjudgment. It was absolutely harmonious in all respects and I can only recommend the food. The wine accompaniment didn't always suit my taste (which I don't think is a bad thing). However, it was very interesting and I will definitely book it again to be able to try more interesting wines. The non-alcoholic aperitif recommendation for my companion was also a good alternative. The staff was very professional and extremely friendly! I felt the performance was at a very high level. We always felt well looked after and yet comfortably left alone to be able to enjoy the evening together. Every course and every wine was presented and explained with the same quality. Even though the staff explained it again at each table, it was always done with the same dedication. What I would wish for - At that price I would like the espresso/coffee included. - The tartuffo with the coffee was very tasty... but after all the food it was just too much😅 All in all; We would be happy to come back and thank the staff for the great work on Silverster so that we could enjoy it.

Alle Geschmacksinne werden angesprochen und zufrieden gestellt, auch für das Auge sind die Gerichte eine wahre Freude. Das Black Angus war perfekt, einzig das Kalbsfilet fiel etwas aus dem Rahmen (nicht sehr zart und wenig Geschmack, aber ich bin sowieso nicht so Kalbfleischliebhaber). Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und schnell. Wir kommen wieder!

Bei jedem Besuch im Essort ist der tolle Abend garantiert. Die Gastgeber und das gesamte Service- und Küchenpersonal sind super-freundlich, sehr kompetent (man lernt auch öfters etwas über Speisen die man vielleicht noch nicht kannte) und tun alles dafür, dass man sich als Gast wohlfühlt. Es wird jeweils ein Fleisch- und ein vegetarisches sechsgängiges Menu angeboten. Jeder Gang ist perfekt gekocht und auch eine Freude für die Augen. Viele verschiedene Geschmäcker, die man sonst nicht jeden Tag hat. Die Portionen sind grosszügig, Wasser ist im Preis inbegriffen, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier definitiv. Viele Gründe, um regelmässig wieder in den Essort zurückzukehren! Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen, freue mich auf's nächste Mal.

Als wir das Lokal betraten, hatten wir einen direkten Hinblick auf die verschmutzten Fenster, welches uns nicht zu einem positiven ersten Eindruck des Restaurants führte. Wir wurden jedoch sehr freundlich vom Servicepersonal begrüsst und zum Tisch begleitet.Allerdings sollte sich die Kleidung der Mitarbeiter im Saal ändern! In einem (damals noch 15 Punkte) Gault Millau Restaurant, sollten sich die Mitarbeiter an einer Bekleidungsvorschrift halten müssen. Das Servicepersonal war auf Grund ihrer Kleidung schwer zu erkennen, denn man hätte sie auch als Gäste war nehmen können. Eine «Wie Zuhause» - Einstellung zur Kleidung, ist in einem solchen Speiselokal nicht zu erwarten.Hingegen konnten wir unser Apero mit einem erfrischenden Mocktail geniessen. Unser 4-Gang Menu war gut, jedoch keine 5 Sterne angemessen. Gleich wie die Preisleistung. Zu hoher Preis für ein tiefes Endergebnis…

Holztische super dekoriert und Stühle aus Holz jedoch Kissen verfügbar.Uns gefällt das „Afrikanische Ambiente“ welches unseren erachtens nach übertrieben ist, nicht. Das Essen ist unserer Meinung nach nicht 5 Sterne würdig. Die Vorspeise war gut, der Zwischengang etwas fade und der Hauptgang meiner Meinung nach überwürzt. Zu viele verschiede Komponenten mit zu intensiven Geschmacksrichtungen (scharf, süss, sauer, salzig).Preis - Leistung stimmt für uns nicht! Haben für weniger Geld schon viel besser gegessen. Wir kommen leider nicht wieder.

Nous avons pris 3 plas avec un accompagnement de vin pour chacun. Nous avons demandé un kit en apéritif mais la bouteille de crème de cassis était vide, j'ai trouvé les plats bons avec de très agréables mélanges de goût mais un peu trop épicé et poivré à mon goût, les vins sont de la région et d'ailleurs, ils sont bons mais nous les avons trouvés fort en alcool. Enfin le plateau de fromage était très intéressant, avec de belles surprises mais hélas personne ne nous à expliqué quels étaient leur nom (peu être par ce que nous parlons pas Allemand) et la disposition n'était pas du plus doux au plus fort. Le cadre du restaurant est très sympa, le personnel est super gentil, les plats sont bons, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés vous aurez de belles surprises c'est certain paroles d'un épicurien 😋

Zum Trinken 2 dl offener Weisswein (Schweiz) und 1 Espresso. Kosten Chf 178.- Das Essen war qualitativ tadellos jedoch ohne "wow" Efffekt. Das Ambienet eher nüchtern, Bistro mässig. Der hohe Preis wurde mit dem inbegriffenen Wasser und dem Umstand, dass wir nur je 2 Gänge bestellt hätten, Begründet.

Wir waren eine Grupoe von 6 Personen, welche sich zu einem nachträglichen Geburtstagsessen im Essort in Bern getroffen haben. Wir wurden freundlich von der Wirtin begrüsst und vom Service zu unserem Tisch geführt. Der Tisch war hübsch dekoriert, das Highlight war eine handgeschriebene Geburtstagskarte des Teams vom Essort für das Geburtstagskind.Das Ambiente ist eine super Mischung mit gut rustikalen Elementen einerseits, andererseits Bilder mit Elefanten, Zebras und Sanddünen an den Wänden sowie schwarzen Kronleuchtern an der Decke.Der Service glänzt durch professionalität und jeder Gast fühlt sich gleich willkommen. Das Erfolgsrezept: Freundlichkeit kombiniert mit Fachwissen. Jeder Gang wird am Tisch erklärt, man weiss immer was alles auf dem Teller ist. Sehr speziell ist das Konzept:Im Essort gibt es abends jeweils 1 Menu (1x Fleischvariante, 1x Vegetarische Variante) sowie 1 a la Carte Menu (Ebenfalls in der Fleisch- und Vegievariante). Das Menu kann man in verschiedenen Ausführungen wählen (3 Gang, 4 Gang, 5 Gang und 6 Gang), ebenso kann man das Menu individuell zusammenstellen (was will ich im Menu haben, Vegie - und Fleischvariante kann man nach Belieben mischen). Das Geburtstagskind bekam das Dessert mit einer Wunderkerze dekoriert. Das Restaurant ist eher im hohen Preissegment angesiedelt, bedenkt man aber, dass die meisten Zutaten aus der Region kommen, kann man darüber hinwegsehen. Ich war zwar zum ersten Mal im Essort, aber sicher nicht zum letzten Mal. Wer etwas kulinarisch spezielles sucht, ist im Essort 100% an der richtigen Adresse.

Ganz einfach von A bis Z wunderbar, auf höchstem Niveau!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Essort und stellen fest, das war eine Wissens- bzw. Essenslücke. Das Restaurant ist von aussen unscheinbar, wirkt im Entré etwas provisorisch, aber überzeugt im Inneren, im Garten und dann gänzlich mit der Küche. Der Küchenchef versteht es, verschiedene Geschmäcker geschickt miteinander zu kombinieren und wahre Geschmacksorgasmen zu kreieren. Die Portionen sind sehr angemessen und optimal aufeinander abgestimmt, die Kombination von kalt und warm ist sehr spannend. Das geräucherte Mousse und Tartar der Forelle ist eine gelungene Vorspeise. Der gebratene Saibling mit demi-sec Tomaten Raviolo, kombinieret mit herrlich orientalisch gewürzten Gemüse ein Gedicht.
