Eurotel Victoria in Ormont-Dessus

I've been there several times for the past twenty years. It is one place where you feel like at home, very soon. The rooms are very comfortable, the food is excellent and the staff super friendly. Superb position.

We were really impressed by the service of the hotel. The front desk was always very friendly and helpful. All of our requests were dealt with very professionally and efficiently. We had a pet and they arranged early check-in, late check-out and even specific cleaning time for us. We were so grateful that they made our travel stress-free with the pet. The room is also cosy and clean with an old style of a mountain cabin. The view is super nice with a balcony. The location is convenient with free parking nearby and walking distance to the town centre and train station. We also enjoyed the swimming pool several times during the week of our stay. We had a very enjoyable week of stay in the Eurotel-Victoria.

We enjoyed our stay as a family. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The team was very friendly and welcoming, particularly with our young children.

After several professional stays at the Eurotel Victoria, I came to spend a weekend there with my family. We had a lot of fun and had a great time. I highly recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful family stay at your establishment. We really appreciated the kindness and availability of the staff (reception, restaurant, bar, spa), the large chalet-style room with the superb view of the glacier, the good meals in the evening and the copious and very good breakfast before starting the daytime. Worst hotel ever. First night I came home to my room smelling like dead rodent. This was the best room in the hotel, btw. They switched me two floors down at 2am, to a vastly smaller room and told me "don't worry, we won't charge you extra". Breakfast is supposed to be until 10:30 but when I arrived at 10:00, the people cleaning up rolled their eyes at me and served me hard cheese, dry ham and expired bread in the lobby.

We planned to stay in this hotel for 2 days. After the first day we extended for another 2 days. All the staff was very good and made the difference. You feel at home and safe despite the current sanitary restrictions. Breakfast and dinner were also very good quality. We will definetly go back.

Hôtel calme et très bien placé au pieds des pistes. Personnel au top que se soit à la réception ou a la salle a manger. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est magnifique avec des produits du terroir. La demi pension proposée est très bonne. La piscine est agréable. Les chambres de bonnes grandeurs et avec vue magnifique mais devraient être rénovées pour un établissement de cette classe et à ce prix... Par contre, pour un hôtel 4 étoiles, il semble indispensable de trouver une bouilloire et machine à café et thé dans la chambre.

Superbe hôtel avec emplacement idéal. Excellent restaurant grande chambres dommage les moquettes. Piscine et gros point faible c'est quelques appareils de fitness vieillot à 1 mètre de la piscine avec des mioches qui hurles et saute en éclaboussent les machines. Faut absolument une pièce séparée pour le fitness ! Personnel est top.

Hôtel familial, la famille Wertner est très accueillante, les employés très sympathiques, les enfants sont bienvenus. Restaurant très bon 😋

Le personnel est vraiment au top du top digne d’un 5* ! Par contre, nous avions une personne dans la chambre à côté de la nôtre, la 526, qui toussait hyper fort tous les matins dès 7h et ça nous réveillait. La nourriture est vraiment excellente, nous avons pris la demi pension et avons bien fait, pour 30.- par personne, rien à redire. Je recommande de prendre les pic-nic préparés par l’hotel, les sandwichs sont excellents et en bonne quantité . La salle à manger est très bruyante car ils y avait beaucoup de familles avec de petits enfants pas très bien éduqués malheureusement. La proximité des pistes est très agréable. On aurait apprécié que le patron nous offre un verre après avoir laissé 3300.- pour 5 nuits à 2 adultes et 1 enfant surtout qu’il nous faisait causette tous les soirs ! Un petit détail qui peut faire une différence et qui ne coûte pas grand chose.

Wir waren 2 naechte im Eurotel und hatten im Grossen und Ganzen einen schoenen Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer, auch wenn der Stil nicht mehr zeitegmaess ist und das Hotel generalueberhold werden koennte, hatten wir ein schoenes Zimmer mit Balkon - tollem Blick und relativ viel PLatz. Das Essen war sehr gut - leider mussten wir am ersten Abend sehr lange warten und es ging ueber 1 Stunde bis die Kinder (4 und 7 Jahre) ihr Essen bekommen hatten. Die Sauna und der Pool sind auch alt aber funktionell und erfuellen den Zweck, wenn man sich nicht gerade nach Luxus sehnt. Ich war leider etwas entaeuscht von den Oeffnungszeiten der Sauna, die erst ab 15h offer sind und ich mich gerne nach einer Langlauf-Einheit am Vormittag gegen die Mittagszeit in der Sauna aufwaermt haette. Der Service war auch sonst generell zuvorkommend aber ein Erlebnis stoerte mich am Ende: Wir hatten Voucher bekommen, sodass unsere Kinder sich eine heisse schokolade bestellen konnten. Als wir dies taten, wussten der Barman von nichts und stellte uns 12 Franken in Rechnung. Hier sollte die Kommunikation zwischen Rezeption und Bar verbessert werden. Ebenso war unser Foehn im Zimmer kapput, was wir anfangs nicht sahen aber ploetzlich Flammen aus dem Kabelende kamen, welches offen oder durchschmort waren. Fuer diese beiden Unanehmlichkeiten gibts jeweils einen Stern abzug, da wir von Hotelseiten auch nicht einmal eine "Entschuldigung" bekamen.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end dans votre hôtel. Nous avons apprécié le magnifique buffet du petit -déjeuner et les excellents menus proposés au restaurant le soir. Le service était excellent. Un petit bémol peut-être par rapport à l'équipement de la chambre: nous avons trouvé le lit un peu inconfortable et regretté qu'il y ait deux matelas séparés.

We enjoyed the view from our balcony. The hotel is very coisy and very practical - all what one may need during a week-end stay. Warm welcome at reception, nice pubic area with bar and possibility to relax with glass of wine. Breakfast-buffet is correct, with hot and cold dishes - both our kids (14 and 3 years old) found the food they prefer. Swimming pool with a comfortable temperature. We really find all good and we enjoyed the stay. Hotel location is fantastic, many paths for hiking around. The restaurants are very close. Great point to visit Glacier 3000.
